Walkthrough Mass Effect: Andromeda. How to prepare the strongest team for the final battle in Mass Effect: Andromeda Mass effect andromeda task split in the ranks

Many of your decisions mass effect: Andromeda will seem extremely important to you, and some really are. However, not all of them have far-reaching consequences, at least in this part of the series. Some minor choices, such as at the end side quest"First Killer" looks much more significant than they really are. Yes, you face their consequences in the second half of the playthrough, but they have almost no effect on the ending.

In fact, the game features only one version of its ending. However, it doesn't end there. You can then continue your exploration of Andromeda and the completion of secondary tasks. In this guide, we will only look at decisions that will help you create the strongest army needed to participate in the final battle.

Main story quests

From scratch

You will have to make an important decision at the very beginning of the game at the end of the quest "From a clean slate". When you are on Eos and have the opportunity to place an outpost, you will be asked whether to build a scientific or military outpost. If you choose a military outpost, then at the end of the game, the Initiative militia will come to your aid.

Ray of hope

After you save Moshae, you will have a choice - make a deal with the Cardinal or destroy the kett complex. If you decide to help the Angarans (even after shooting the Cardinal), then the Resistance will support you in the battle against the Archon.

Hunt for the Archon

During your escape from the Archon's flagship, you'll have to choose between rescuing the Salarian Pathfinder and Drak's scouts. If you choose the krogan, they will appear at the end of the game and kill some relics to clear your path.

Meridian: way home

The final consequences of your decisions in the main quests depend on whether you completed a couple of missions or decided to spit on them. If you completed the Cora Loyalty mission and the Turian Ark mission, you will have four Pathfinders at your disposal, and Captain Dunn will survive the Hyperion's arrival in Meridian.

Note: The search for the Salarian Ark and its Pathfinder is part of the "Hunting the Archon" mission - if you don't rescue Raek, he will simply be replaced by Captain Hyger.

Loyalty missions

Cora Loyalty Mission

The consequences of your decisions at the end of the mission on Cora's loyalty are relatively minor - some may just show up in the final battle. It depends on you who it will be. If you choose to keep Sarissa's actions a secret (or let her remain a Pathfinder), she will appear at the end. If you replace her with Vederia, then she will come to your aid.

Peebee Loyalty Mission

During Peebee's long and confusing questline, you will have to make a choice - save Kalinda or save the relic device. If you let the asari rescue Kalinda (without shooting her), she will show up to help you in the final battle.

Jaal Loyalty Mission

In fact, the choices you make at the end of this quest have little to no effect on the ending, as Jaal's family will come to your aid anyway if you complete this quest. However, it is still worth noting that if you kill Akksul, then the roekaars will start to bring more more problems in the Eley cluster.

Loyalty Mission Fight

As with Jaal, your choice will not affect the ending, meaning Vorn will help you in the battle anyway - you just need to complete this quest.

Secondary quests

Turian Ark

To find the Turian Pathfinder, you need to complete the Not Dead Yet and Lost But Not Forgotten missions. The first task can be obtained from the surviving turians on Havarl, and the second - after the interrogation of Van Terev, which takes place during the "Hunting the Archon" quest. The second mission will take you to Natanus' ark. In the end, you just need to convince Avitus Rix to become a Turian Pathfinder. Only in this case can Captain Dunn be saved.

Truth and meanness

A long mission in which you will face a lot of tricks and intrigues. You can get it from Kallo after leaving Eos. At the end of the mission, you have a choice to make: let Dr. Aden leave in exchange for intel on the kett, or have him arrested. In the latter case, Saelen will come to your aid in the final battle.

Searching for the past

After completing the "Removal of the Heart" mission on Voeld, you will be able to obtain new quest titled "Searching for the Past". It will lead you to an ice cave where archaeological excavations are being carried out, an ancient city is located, kett are based and Angaran captives are kept. After freeing the captives and destroying the ice wall, you will encounter an old (and possibly crazy) Angaran AI. You will have two pairs of solutions. First of all, we note that, you can immediately shoot him and thereby end the mission. If you let him live, you can either keep him or hand him over to the Angarans. We advise you to choose the second option, as in this case they will use the data artificial intelligence and help you in the last fight.

Discord in the ranks

Something strange is going on in the kett ranks on Elaaden. When investigating their activity on the planet, you will be able to talk to one kett, whose name is Primus. He will tell you that not all kett are obsessed with the ideas of the Archon. Primus will offer you help in the battle with the Archon, however, for this you will need to make a deal with him. If you accept his offer, he will share with you a special code that will weaken the protection of the kett when you attack Meridian. There are no negative consequences of this decision in the game itself, but we are sure that they will manifest themselves in the following parts.

Noon

The last mission, which affects who will appear in the final battle, however, it only changes the characters who will come to your aid. In general, during this task you will need to arrive on Kadara and decide who their criminals will control the port - the Outcasts or the Collective. If you save Sloane Kelly, then she will help you in Meridian, and if not, then Reyes will appear.

The main options for the development of events in Mass Effect: Andromeda and the possible consequences of choosing each of them

The Mass Effect series has always allowed the player to shape their own adventure through the choices they make along the way. Released March 2017 Mass Effect: Andromeda was no exception in this respect.

In Andromeda, you are given the role of Pathfinder, a key position in the Andromeda initiative. The duties of the Pathfinder include finding a new home for his Ark with the colonists. In this case, human.

Such a high rank obliges the Pathfinder to sometimes make very difficult decisions, with which this guide will help you. Here you can find all the key forks in Mass Effect: Andromeda, the further direction of the plot after which directly depends on the player, and the possible consequences of choosing one path or another.

Priority tasks

Mission "On the Surface"

If a the protagonist thoroughly researched planet Dwelling-7 (i.e. completed all optional tasks) as part of this mission, Alec Ryder will note his diligence. Otherwise, your actions will go unnoticed by the father.

Mission "The Best Start"

Choice scientific outpost at the end of this task will not bring big dividends (several relevant mentions in subsequent cut-scenes), but military base will allow the Prodromos squad to join the heroes in the final mission. For its successful implementation, however, the help of Prodromos is not required.

Mission "Ray of Hope"

At the end of this quest, you will have to decide what to do with the Kett Cardinal and his "Ascension" factory. And if the fate of the cardinal does not affect anything - after thanking the hero, he will run away and will not appear again - then from factory safety depends on whether hangar resistance fighters will help (if saved) you in the final mission or not (if destroyed).

Mission "Archon Hunt"

Kadara- the first will determine the fate of Vena Terev. If you agree to cooperate with Sloane Kelly, then the Angaran traitor will not do well. Otherwise, Terev will have to be rescued himself, after which he will return to Aya as an NPC. Whatever you choose, Sloan and Reyes will comment on Ryder's decision.

Archon Flagship- the second will determine Salarian Pathfinder and will seriously affect Fight attitude to the main character. If you decide to help Drak's scouts, the krogan will be very pleased, and his fighters will help you with the final task. Raeka, however, will die, and subsequently Hayger, the captain of the Paarchero, will have to be persuaded to take her position. By choosing Raeka and her soldiers, you will incur the wrath of Drak (in especially neglected cases, he can leave Ryder’s squad forever), and his scouts will be turned into “behemoths” that the heroes will face until the end of the game.

Mission "Meridian: the road home"

As part of this mission, you will have to make two important decisions:

  • If you completed the task A split in the ranks”, then you can use the resulting code to weakening the kett as part of the final mission. There were no negative consequences of this action. Otherwise - if the hero did not use the code or did not pass the "Splitting in the ranks" - the strength of the kett will remain unchanged.

  • To provide Captain Dunn's safety when landing on Meridian, the help of three Pathfinders is needed. To obtain it, the following conditions must be met:
  1. Perform a task " Archon Hunt” and identify the Salarian Pathfinder.
  2. Complete the task "" and persuade Avitus to take the position of Pathfinder.
  3. Perform a task " Debt limits» (Kora Loyalty Mission) and select an Asari Pathfinder from Sarissa and Vederia.

Epilogue

Whoever you choose as the new ambassador will not affect the history of Andromeda in any way. The consequences of this decision, however, may well manifest in a potential sequel.

Allies and relations

Liam's Loyalty Mission ("All Together")

At the end of this task, you will have to decide whether hold up verandah or not. In the first case, Liam will remain the hero extremely unhappy, which could end the potential development of a relationship; in the second - everyone will part with the world.

Cora's Loyalty Mission ("The Limits of Duty")

From keeping Sarissa's secret depends on who becomes the Asari Pathfinder. If you decide to hide the truth, Sarissa will remain the Pathfinder (in the final task, she will come to the aid of the heroes). Otherwise, again, Ryder will have to choose: leave the ashamed Sarissa as the Pathfinder (in order to get help from her in the end, you will have to show miracles of oratory) or assign her duties to Vederia (in the final task, she will come to the aid of the heroes).

Jaal's Loyalty Mission ("Flesh and Blood")

From the fate of Akksul depends on the number of aggressive Roekaar in subsequent tasks. If you shoot Akksul, there will be more hostile rebels, if you save his life - Jaal will be injured, but the Roekaar presence will be significantly reduced. In both cases, the heroes will receive help from Jaal's family in the final mission.

Peebee's Loyalty Mission ("Remnant Mysterious Signal")

When Kalinda hangs on the ledge, you will only have a few seconds to decide whether to Relic data core salvation. If yes, Kalinda will simply die, there will be no further consequences; if not, Kalinda will survive and help the heroes in the final game.

Draka Loyalty Mission ("Future of the People")

From Aroan's fate nothing depends. Whether or not you allow Drak to drop the smuggler, Vorn will still come to the aid of the heroes in the final task.

Tempest Chief Engineer Gil

Three decisions are connected with it at once (see below), but the maximum that the player can count on in them is slightly changed dialogues in subsequent scenes.

  1. Did Ryder cheat when playing poker?
  2. Did he agree to be the father of Gil and Jill's child.
  3. Which side did you take in the dispute between Kallo and Gil.

Secondary Tasks

  • Mission " First killer"- from whether you let go or expel Nilken Renzus for an assassination attempt, it depends only on where this character subsequently ends up. In the first case, he himself will want to return to prison because of guilt, in the second, he will move to Kadara.
  • Mission " Sleeping dragons» - no matter how you resolve the situation with protesting families, it will not affect the further plot of the game. Protestants can be persuaded to back down from their demands or agree to them. Someone (either the Protestants or the leadership of the Nexus) will remain dissatisfied in any case.

Ryder's (either gender) truthful retelling of events for a documentary will allow T'Vessa to have an affair

  • Mission " Hero's trail» - if the hero refuses to participate in the creation documentary film journalist Keri T'Vessa or ignore her requests, Director Tann will become the hero of the picture. Whatever the outcome of the documentary, it will not affect further events in any way.
  • Mission " Sabotage at the station"- the fate of the saboteur Dale Atkins(exile to Kadara, extradition to the Nexus leadership, ignoring) will not affect the further development of the plot.
  • Mission " Life on the border» - you will disclose information about activities of the group "Three Sabers" or keep it a secret, it will not affect the further plot, however, in the first case, you can hear about the investigation on the local news.
  • Mission " Fire brigade"- if you were able to persuade Knight resolve the matter amicably, her son Alain will join the Nexus's team of scientists. Otherwise, the sniper will kill Knight, and her son will swear revenge on you. No other effects of Knight's death were seen.
  • Mission " Krogan betrayal» – Spender's fate It doesn't affect the rest of the story in any way.
  • Mission " Truth and meanness"- If you arrest Dr. Aden, Selenium will not help the heroes in the final mission.

  • Mission " Turian Ark: Lost But Not Forgotten» - from the fate of Avitus Rix depends on the life of Captain Dunn in the final mission. If you persuade Ricks to become a Pathfinder, he will help the heroes; if not, Ricks will become a drunken mercenary on Kadara, and Captain Dunn will be doomed.
  • None of the decisions made on Aya - to tell or hide information about the kett chasing the heroes and the plans of the ancient store, as well as a possible flirtation with Avela Kyar - will not affect the further plot. In the case of Kyar, the hero on Aya will only have a small dialogue after the completion of the main story.
  • Mission " modern medicine» - from the owner "Oblivion" formulas depends on the identity of the doctor on the territory of the Kadar outpost. If the formula remains with Farent, Nakamoto will get angry at the protagonist and will not want to join the team of the future settlement. If you bring the formula back to Nakamoto, it will stop the spread of the drug and provide the outpost with a qualified specialist.
  • Mission " Murders in Port Kadara- if you don't stop perpetrators of the murders on the territory of the Kadar port of the Roekaars, the massacres of civilians will continue.

  • Mission " Noon”- which faction (Les Misérables or the Collective) will prevail in the confrontation depends on which of its leaders (Sloan Kelly or Reyes Vidal, respectively) will come to the aid of the heroes in the final mission. If the player has not completed "Noon", Kelly will appear in the ending.
  • Mission " Find the stolen Remnant Engine Core» - if the hero leaves Relic Engine Core himself, he will receive two thousand credits and a thousand Relic research points, but will not be able to subsequently create a colony on Elaaden. To do this, you need to give the artifact to the krogans, who in this case will also help the heroes in the final battle.
  • Mission " Water supply»- if you leave Anne control over the water source, an enterprising krogan woman will help the heroes in the end and will thank Ryder with a bribe. Otherwise, the protagonist will have to deal with the fighters of Annea, instead of which a representative of the Nexus will appear in Eden.

  • Mission " Searching for the past» - first of all, you have to decide whether it is worth saving artificial intelligence the life of an Angarsk prisoner. If not, then the quest will end there; if yes, you will have to choose who will get the ancient artifact: the hangars (in this case they will help the heroes in the final mission) or the Nexus (SAM will comment on your decision).
  • Mission " Secrets of the Ryder Family» - if the hero collects all sixteen memory activators, then finds out what happened to his mother and why the Initiative went to Andromeda.

Storm

After finishing additional task"Know thy enemy" and story mission 4, read the letter: "Message from New Tuchanka: kett harassing activity." Not all kett obey the Archon implicitly. Someone is trying to undermine his authority with propaganda. Worth checking where it's coming from.

Investigate kett shipwrecks on Elaaden

Elaaden

Land the Storm (1) at the Elaaden Outpost Landing Zone. Use the southernmost forward station (2) to quickly move to your destination (3) in the Valley of Gehenna. As you approach, you find some kett killing other kett at the crash site.

Defeat the kett

It doesn't matter who is right and who is wrong. Sweep both those and others.

Explore the territory

On the ground next to the wreckage, find a kett data block. SAM says the device has a very good blockage and offers to take it to Tempest for further analysis. You will earn some OP and Elaaden's Prospect +2% for completing this part of the quest.

Speak to Suvi on the Tempest

Elaaden
Storm

Speak with Suvi at the bridge of the Tempest. She can't understand why the kett fight each other. Suvi informs you that the found block of data is protected by a biometric lock that can only be removed with the help of a certain genetic code. She says that Lexi can come up with something with the biotest.

Head to the lower deck of the Tempest, enter the medbay and speak with Lexi (5) . With the help of SAM, you manage to crack the biometric blocking of the data block. Lexi says the device is set to transmit information. You can say "turn it off" or "it could be dangerous". In any case, it will not be able to fix your location. A mysterious voice in the transmission speaks of disagreements in the ranks of the kett and a desire to remove the Archon from power. You track the coordinates of the signal source.

Find the signal source on Eos

Eos

Go to Eos, to Prodromos (6) . Check your card. The signal marker is not far, a little way north, inside the cave. Get in the Nomad and go.

Scan the repeater to find the signal source

Follow the waypoint to the cave. Scan Aiz mobile repeater. Analysis shows that this is a Kett relay, masking the real source of anti-Archon propaganda.

Track the signal to the second repeater

Follow to the next point to find the kett camp (8) on the plateau north of the kett base. Deal with opponents and then scan Shu mobile repeater.

Track the signal to the third repeater

Return to Nomad and drive southwest to the next point (9) . Perebeyte enemies, and then go to the far side of the force field. Disable the kett generator to remove the protective field. Scan mobile repeater Zal.

Track the signal to the fourth repeater

Head to your next destination (10) . Several Chosen and Initiates guard a small barracks. Defeat them, then proceed inside.

Study the structure

Search container and come to the table to listen audio log a mysterious speaker who delivers a motivational speech. Use the console on the right wall to activate the holographic image of Primus. You can now speak to Primus directly through this comms console. You find that you have something in common; you both want the Archon to die. The Primate doesn't like the way the Archon is obsessed with the hangar; she feels it jeopardizes everything they've worked for. She offers an agreement to get rid of him.

According to the Primus, the time will come when the Archon will call upon her to destroy you. She offers you codes to disable her ship when that time comes. What the hell - agree to a deal. The quest ends and you earn a small amount of AP and +2% Eos Prospect.
