Tell your friends about the games!

A friend in trouble will not leave

There are just a lot of different toys for you and your friends to choose from. If you are looking for online games on PC, then choose from the following list:

  • Shooters. Perhaps this is the best choice for both a large company and two people. You become brave soldiers, enter the battlefield and fight against various enemies. Simple mechanics, a lot of fun and priceless minutes together are provided to you.
  • Platformers. These games on the network are suitable for a weak PC. Convenient, easy to manage and with good graphics - they are suitable for any computer. You have a common screen and you go through the levels together, killing some especially nasty evil spirits or other enemies along the way, depending on the chosen game.
  • Action games. Grab your best friend and dive into interesting worlds. Move through the story, solving puzzles together or discovering some secret of the missing girl.

The main thing is victory

Of course, there are not only network games for friends. You can play online games online and with complete strangers. It's even easier, you don't have to give in to anyone - go ahead, win fights, score more points than your teammates.

Games where you don't have to play with friends include the following: worms (explore a mysterious dark world and fatten up your pet), bubbles (connect balls of the same color and score more points than your opponent) or racing (choose the coolest car available and set the heat on everyone you meet on your way). The choice is yours!

Here you will find cooperative shooters - that is, games that you can play together with friends. Such projects do not involve battles between players, but a joint confrontation with AI-controlled monsters.

More

A bit of history

Co-op games have been popular since game consoles the last century. Suffice it to recall the hits of the Dendy console, which is widespread in the post-Soviet space: Battle City, Chip and Dale, Battletoads, Double Dragon - these games, designed specifically for co-op, were no less loved than competitive projects - fighting games or sports simulators like Street Fighter and FIFA . Exploring levels and cracking down on enemies together with one console was priceless.

Co-op games today

With the development of technology, the co-op mode has received a lot of new opportunities - especially on the PC. Modern cooperative games, in particular shooters, can be completed by playing local network or via the Internet; thus, the partner may be in another city, country, or even on another continent.

Co-op shooters give gamers a completely different experience than solo or competitive games. Here you do not need to confront each other, on the contrary - in such games, mutual assistance and teamwork are important. To cater to all categories of gamers, many developers add to their projects and single, and competitive, and cooperative mode s.

It's time to take stock of the past 2016. Especially for Coop-Land users, our editors, as it happens from year to year, have prepared top cooperative games focused on . Plus a couple of bonus games for our taste.

10th place

Opens our golden parade, leaving behind a lot of equally high-quality games. Created by an American indie studio and inspired by the hardcore series, the game offers an original take on genres.

From the outside, minimalist and even light, the game is overly complex, which is revealed during the gameplay. Enemies have a lot of health, and the hero knows how to lose all the accumulated items when he dies. The proposed co-op for four people paints the game, which tends to complicate the gameplay with an increase in the squad.

For a pleasant visual style and a deceptive look, it receives a well-deserved tenth place among the best co-op games of 2016.

9th place

Received the lion's share of votes in and well appreciated by our editors, unfortunately, did not show the players a new cooperative or multiplayer experience, even despite high-quality gameplay transformations and fundamental changes in the plot.

The cooperative mode seems to be created for show and does not carry any individual features along with it. It is presented in the form of a joint passage of minor missions such as capture or hacking, and this is only for two people. It should be noted that in such a rich setting it would be possible to make an interesting and versatile cooperative mode corresponding to the big name, but this opportunity was simply ignored.

For eminent status and pleasant setting receives ninth place.

The genre of post-apocalyptic survival with a harsh zombie theme has not gone out of fashion, and this is a clear confirmation of this. Experiencing a tough year-long beta test, the game reached its release with a bunch of new nice features: full-fledged co-op, updated locations and new system crafting.

The implemented cooperative mode will allow players to work together to build bases, study the game map and survive in a real zombie apocalypse. Despite the declared convenience, the network aspect has one unpleasant feature: the promised maximum number of players - 16 people - can only be achieved by connecting four groups in the mode to a common host.

But even with such conventions, it is a good cooperative game, for which it gets eighth place our rating.

The best farming simulation game in existence has proven to be highly acclaimed in the series, with a growing fan base and a much sought-after gameplay in the genre. So, he confidently entered our top cooperative games, leaving behind a dozen boring shooters and sandboxes.

A specific multiplayer mode, which is not based on any competitive nature, will allow ten players to create a working collective farm: jointly rent land, plow and build, get carried away with crop and animal husbandry. It would seem that such a passive gameplay only leads to discouragement, but in fact, the massiveness of various functions gives the player great interest and motivation.

For the variety of in-game elements and some originality, seventh place our cooperative chart.

6th place

The heavy Lancer, equipped with a chainsaw and emitting a continuous hum, brings back nostalgic memories of the fun days spent insanely playing the first one. But only for a moment, because the world again needs to be saved, this time - to the son of Marcus, in a traditionally bloody and epic .

There are several cooperative modes in the game: one is a joint passage of the storyline, the second, called the Horde, invites players to fight off the constantly growing waves of the enemy. Both modes are tied to the team interaction of five people and are set to complicate the gameplay: the larger the squad, the smarter the enemy becomes.

For the consistency of the series and good multiplayer modes takes sixth place our rating.

2016 did not do without fantasy Rogue-RPGs, gameplay similar to or. Fortunately, the presented game turned out to be of really high quality and even adored by fans of this genre: starting from the very release, it gets good marks from the players and the press.

The proposed co-op for four people fits perfectly with the storyline, revealing the characters and their characteristics in detail - this creates motivation to conquer the cruel game world in the company of friends. Also of interest is the division of characters into classes, in the basic state there are six of them. Customizable skills and long development branches provide the ability to customize your profile, which greatly hones cooperative interaction.

4th place

The Spanish stealth action game created by a small group of enthusiasts from Lince Works gave the player a pleasant atmosphere of an oriental fairy tale, mixing bright red blood, black night and Japanese folklore in its setting. Such a palette put it among the most colorful cooperative games of the outgoing year.

The visual style, characterized by prominent lines and contrasts, perfectly complements the co-op for two people. The gameplay mode does not offer anything new: players remain with the same range of abilities, and enemies do not become smarter. But in the process, ways of collaborative interaction that are implicit and hidden in the single player mode are revealed - they give the game variety and interest.

Editor's Choice

According to our editors, the title of the best cooperative game of 2016 deserves a small, simple, but painfully eye-catching game that offers a joint story walkthrough for four people in mode .

Architecturally, the game does not have any complex elements, its principle is simple and clear. But the gameplay process is hardcore and even hostile towards the player, which is not at all a minus in a cooperative passage. High speed, tons of tasks and lack of time - all this together makes the gameplay fun and even funny.

All the running around is harmoniously complemented by locations and conditions for their passage. On a large story map, the main places looming, from which even goosebumps run: the vents of volcanoes, pirate ships, lost islands, long highways, ice blocks - each location causes a certain number of conditions. So, the sea is pretty rocking, and the ice is really slippery.

With many hours of play, our editorial team confidently declares that it is the dominant but underestimated contender for the best co-op game of the past 2016.

3rd place

Bald Lo Wang, diligently copying the image of a charismatic and brutal hero, judging by the high marks of our gaming community, nevertheless fell in love and was accepted. Its bloody brutality, cold skill and caustic remarks placed it in the top three co-op games.

The sequel to the comparatively disastrous 2013 Shadow Warrior, the game has literally broken into first-class ratings through some gameplay and story transformations. So, the locations, the arsenal, the enemies and the character himself got under a minor alteration: the map became bigger and brighter, the weapons got new trash devices, the infernal creatures clearly diversified and bred, and the hero learned new tricks, became more precise and honed his black humor.

2nd place

The plot of Tom Clancy, as usual full of ideas about political conspiracies and overflowing with the author's thought about a difficult alternative reality, placed players in a snowy and dead New York, broken by a severe pandemic. The players liked this post-apocalyptic setting and ended up appearing in our top.

The game world, locally divided into PvE and PvP zones, provides players with a huge springboard for cooperative and competitive gameplay. The protagonists - agents - regularly receive various kinds of tasks, but often it all comes down to a punitive cleansing of a certain place. Entire factions of bandits, the so-called cleaners, mercenaries and similar killers of various stripes act as enemies.

But the gameplay, boring in words, turns into a fun joint company with friends. With a small group, you can make raids, explore locations, complete quests and, most fun, conquer Dark Zone, in which PvP dominates. In such multiplayer operations, you can achieve maximum team cohesion, using not only high-tech gadgets, but also joint interaction tactics to defeat other players.

| Dark Souls 3 featured a fat, unquestioning and bitter for the fan point in the plot of Dark Souls.

The gameplay has undergone some qualitative changes, to which the fans of the series have responded positively. The game has become more dynamic - this was facilitated by the introduction of new dexterous classes, an increase in the speed of attack and movement, and the development of an even greater dependence of the combat on the location. So, along with the dynamics, the complexity increased: the bosses hardened, their weapons sharpened, and the main character, on the contrary, weakened.

But there is a way out of such a seemingly hopeless situation, and it lies in the usual co-op for the series. Dark dungeons are illuminated with fiery hints, and the souls of the dead run from time to time in strange and dubious alleys, warning of impending danger. The idyll is complemented by phantoms, who, at the call of an artifact, come to the rescue in an unequal battle with some bloodthirsty dragon. Such a multiplayer experience remains symbolic and enjoyable for any Dark Souls fan.

Bonus: ugly duckling

In 2016, a game was released that had great potential in the implementation of a cooperative company, but, unfortunately, sadly failed due to the lack of some promised aspects and an outrageously small number of story and cooperative missions.

Strange Brigade

A dynamic shooter game, the plot of which tells about the awakening of the ancient Egyptian witch-queen Seteka. Only the "Strange Brigade" - four brave adventurers ready to fight any danger for the sake of hard cash - can stop the sinister ruler and her minions.

Playing alone in Strange Brigade is too boring, but in co-op the project is revealed in full force. At various levels, bloodthirsty monsters, deadly traps and, of course, cleverly hidden treasures will be waiting for you, and an extensive arsenal of weapons and devastating spells unique to each character will help you deal with the creatures of evil.

a way out

A game that is completely aimed at cooperative play with a friend: you can’t go through it alone, you can’t go through it with a random player (not from the list of friends in Origin), and there’s no need - this project gives the most vivid emotions only when you play with a well-known by a person, and preferably at one computer, in a splitscreen. We will not describe the advantages of A Way Out for a long time - we have already said everything in our review. If you have someone to play with, be sure to pay attention to this wonderful game.

Warhammer: End Times - Vermintide

A game set in the fantasy universe of Warhammer (which is not 40,000) invites players to unite and recapture the city of Übersreik from the ratmen - mostly in close combat. Warhammer: End Times - Vermintide (as well as its sequel) captures with dynamic and rich gameplay, impresses with the beauty of locations and pleases with high complexity. In general, a great option for evening team battles.

Portal 2

Without exaggeration, the ingenious puzzle game from Valve could have placed higher on our list, but due to its age, it has given way to newcomers. Main Feature Portal 2 cooperative is a very convenient, intuitive system of gestures, thanks to which communication in the game does not require voice communication, and even residents of different countries can find a common language among themselves. Interesting puzzles and corporate humor remained in place, so the project will help you brighten up boredom and have fun.

Gears of War

Only two games from the Gears of War series are presented on the PC - the first and fourth parts (the rest were released on the Xbox family of consoles), but they are enough for vivid emotions. Gears of War takes a gloomy atmosphere, the charisma of the main characters and furious battles with undisguised, even ostentatious, cruelty.

Broforce

Killing floor

Ghost Recon Wildlands

Shooter from Ubisoft, specially sharpened for cooperative passage. Of course play ghost recon Wildlands can be done alone, but then you won't get a small fraction of the experience that this project gives when doing tasks together. It's all about the gameplay: the game belongs to the genre of tactical shooters and, obviously, AI-controlled characters can not be compared with real people who, with proper coordination of actions, will turn the passage of missions into a beautifully staged Hollywood action movie.

Dying Light

HELLDIVERS

Civilization

The sixth installment in the Civilization strategy series is the newest yet, but there is also co-op in previous installments. Here, the joint passage is implemented within the framework of diplomacy: players can declare friendship, unite in an alliance and develop their civilizations together. Civilization VI is perfect for playing both over the Internet and on one computer - for the second case, a hot-sit mode is provided, in which participants take turns making their moves.

cuphead

A long-term platformer released in 2017 with a stunningly beautiful visual style inspired by 1930s and 40s cartoons. Players will take control of funny characters and fight with two dozen bosses. Cuphead features incredibly complex gameplay, so friendly support here comes in handy.

Path of Exile

call of duty

Starting with World at War, every part of the Call of Duty series contains, in addition to the single-player campaign and competitive multiplayer, a co-op mode. In some editions of the franchise, players will have to fight zombies, in others they will fight aliens, but each time these missions delight with excellent staging and addictive gameplay.

Destiny 2

Both parts of Destiny are designed for cooperative play, but only the second part is available on PC. Destiny 2 is a cooperative battle against alien invaders, accompanied by a story full of mysteries and a carefully crafted futuristic setting. The game takes not only exciting gameplay, but also beautiful graphics, showing amazing landscapes.

Diablo

The second and third parts of Diablo, after so many years, still occupy places in all the tops of cooperative games. The reasons for success are high replay value, a well-balanced balance, exciting game process. Any fan of good action-RPGs periodically feels like downloading one of the games in the Diablo series, calling friends and heading to Sanctuary to deal with presumptuous demons.

Divinity: Original Sin

Risk of Rain 2

world war z

The ideological successor of the Left 4 Dead series, based on the film of the same name starring Brad Pitt. True, from the movie blockbuster (which, by the way, is based on the book of the same name), there is only a setting and a set of locations, otherwise World War Z is a typical cooperative shooter, a little less interesting and unpredictable than L4D.

However, he has something to interest you: hordes (no, HORDES) of zombies, a choice between character classes, a snowy Moscow as one of several active places, as well as an interesting PvPvZ mode in which teams of players fight each other, fighting off crowds along the way the encroaching dead.

Don't Starve Together

In this stand-alone expansion for Don't Starve Survival Simulator, you'll have to survive, as the game's name suggests, with a friend. At your disposal is a large selection of characters, a lot of resources and items created from them. Against you is a world full of secrets and dangers, ready to tear and devour uninvited guests. Want to see who is stronger?

Borderlands series

Fortnite

The Division 2

The story of a successful bioterrorist attack was continued in The Division 2. The action has moved to Washington, winter has changed to summer, but the gameplay remains the same - it's all the same exploration of locations and battles with marauders and enemy mercenaries.

Warframe

A very unusual and very popular game will take you on a journey through different planets of the solar system, where you will fight against enemies who have decided to capture the inhabited worlds. Warframe is a game about farming and grinding: you will complete tasks and participate in raids, slash, shoot and blow up opponents in non-stop battles - all for the sake of creating cool battle suits and powerful weapons. The game is available for free, so you won't pay a dime to participate in this grind festival.

Overcooked

A line of cooking arcade games that you should definitely check out if you want to get into a fight with your friends. Why? Yes, because the soup is boiling, the onions are not chopped, the dishes are not washed, the customers are unhappy, and the partner not only does not have time to do anything, but also gets in the way.

Overcooked invites you to cook in the most incredible environments, such as in the mouth of a volcano or on board a pirate ship, with a time limit and a crazy amount of action. An excellent test of your planning skills, reaction speed and nerve strength.

Portal Knights

Developers Portal Knights mixed the mechanics of exploring the world with construction and crafting - it turned out not to be Minecraft at all, but an original cooperative project with trips to different islands and boss battles. In between battles, you can build your own house, and if the gameplay seems too easy, you can always try your hand at battles with especially strong enemies. However, it is worth noting that in a solo game you will certainly get bored, so it is better to go on an adventure with friends.

State of Decay 2

Players have been waiting for co-op in the State of Decay sequel, and Undead Labs has not disappointed their expectations. In this open-world zombie shooter, you have to explore the lands filled with the walking dead, find survivors and gather them in your community, which can be developed and strengthened with the help of resources obtained on your travels. Playing together will make survival more efficient, allow you to successfully defend against enemies and find more materials.

Deep Rock Galactic

A procedurally generated co-op shooter featuring space dwarves fighting alien monsters in treasure-filled caves... wait, what? Yes, such an unusual description hides a good game that will give you an unforgettable experience with its setting and gameplay.

Four classes of characters, a large selection of weapons, a completely destructible environment, hordes of monsters attacking from all sides - after a few matches you will no longer worry about all the strangeness of what is happening, but the crazy pace of battles will take you over your head.

Sea of Thieves

Co-op games for weak PCs

Almost all of the above games require fairly powerful graphics cards and processors. But what if the configuration of your computer does not cope with modern projects, but you still want to play co-op? Don't rush to break your piggy bank for an upgrade - we have a selection of co-op games for weak PCs.

The ability to play the game with a friend or a whole company of comrades has always attracted gamers. Back in the bearded times, we fought in "Tanks" on old TVs and 16-bit set-top boxes. As time goes by, technology develops, and the developers of game projects give us much more opportunities for cooperative entertainment. Not always the implementation allows you to enjoy the gameplay - either the creators of the product do not quite understand the desires of the user, or the game itself is suitable only for passing in splendid isolation. However, there are such vivid examples of an excellent cooperative that it is simply impossible to pass by.

Cuphead (PC, Xbox One)

The creators blew up the computer games market with their project. And this is not some far-fetched pathetic phrase that is usually said at the presentations of the next part of FIFA or Battlefield, but a recognized fact. Literally a week after the release, specialized resources, critics and gamers gave the new product the highest marks. A lot of time has passed, and this hardcore hand-drawn shooter is still admired. And the developers promised to soon release a major DLC with new characters, bosses and levels, which only angered the real fans.

Cuphead is a side-scrolling shooter with graphics reminiscent of 1930s cartoons. The virtual world, characters and opponents are made in the same style and it looks very beautiful and unusual. There is no product in the entire gaming market that can boast something like this. But, of course, the attractiveness of the project is not in the picture that you see on the screen, but in the complex gameplay. This is Dark Souls, only in the form of a cartoon shooter. Many agree that the famous Souls series is even a little easier to master, because there is a place for tactics and tricks, while Cuphead requires you to react with lightning speed and analyze the situation.

In this shooter you will constantly die. Literally at every turn. One wrong move and your character takes damage, after which you need to start a long journey again, from the beginning of the level. Did you get to the boss? Now it's time to stretch your fingers and wipe the floor from your forehead, because the leaders here are incredibly complex, they have a lot of skills, tricks and tactics. Experienced gamers had to spend an hour and a half to complete some bosses. Just imagine what willpower and nerves are needed for such long races!

In addition to being an unrealistically cool game, Cuphead also supports co-op. True, without "crutches" you can only play locally - connect gamepads (or a gamepad and a keyboard with a mouse) and fight with a friend. The project will sparkle with completely new colors, especially if you and your friend have already completed the game and understand what needs to be done. You can also play on the Internet, for this you need to have NVIDIA graphics card and a little time to search for instructions on the net. Although, of course, nothing can replace a local cooperative - memories from childhood immediately cover. Old TV, "Dandy" and tanks. Eh, there was a time.

Far Cry 5 (PC, PS4, Xbox One)

Franchise Far Cry for Ubisoft is a key one, so the developers try to surprise us with something every time. This time, the writers were able to create a really interesting story that I wanted to study, go through and enjoy. Opponents look very interesting, each has its own well-developed history, unique character and manners of "rule". It is a pleasure to fight with such people, although at first it will be necessary to punish hundreds of their ardent fanatic assistants. And the setting of a small US town only adds to the drama, because we have never fought in such locations before.

We have already written our review on, and the project left an extremely positive impression. A huge virtual world, a lot of secondary features, even good vehicle physics. There were minor bugs at the start, but now everything has already been corrected and you can play with great pleasure. In addition, the developers have added the ability to go through the storyline in the company with a friend in co-op mode. Actually, otherwise the game would not have got into this article.

Online co-op allows you and a friend to play through the entire story together, from the very first scene to the completion of the entire story. This is a really cool feature, in other projects co-op is usually implemented as separate missions. Here you ride around the virtual world, fight random opponents, hunt or fish, fly a plane and have fun with everyone possible ways. There was a desire - we went to go through the next mission, which allows us to get closer to the main enemy. Your friend will see all the cut-scenes, will fight, drive a car and help you kill bosses.

An important detail - the joint passage records the progress only to the one who started the session. That is, if you started playing, invited a friend, then after ten hours of playing together, he will find that all the missions completed, the caches found and the money earned were saved only by you. The comrade's storyline will remain intact. On the one hand, the desire to go through the plot has now evaporated sharply. On the other hand, you can complete the story in two completely different ways, choosing a different weapon and fighting style. Twice as many positive emotions from the same story! I think the co-op mode in Far Cry 5 turned out to be very worthy.

A Way Out (PC, PS4, Xbox One)

The most striking example of a modern game that was originally honed for co-op is A Way Out. EA decided to dilute its series of releases and, together with an independent development studio, released A Way Out. Even against the backdrop of cult franchises, this project looked very lively and interesting, many liked the story of a jailbreak, especially if you watched American TV shows or films on the same subject. And after the release, it turned out that this is not just a game for co-op. Without a teammate, you simply cannot launch it, since two players are needed.

In you choose one of the two characters for which you will then play. Both characters look interesting, they have a well-written plot, there are even hints that they got here by pure chance and in fact they are innocent. We don’t have time to understand this, we need to study the habits of the guards, look for loopholes and wind circles around the courtyard, hatching another cunning tactic. Part of the game mechanics is based on this - each character is in a separate location, you need to collect information and share it in order to get the full picture later.

When you have a clear escape plan, the game will bring a lot of surprises and will require you to interact as accurately as possible. One character pushes the basket, the second looks through the crack and controls the situation, and so on. There are a lot of examples of cooperative actions here, they are literally found at every step. Because of this, the game was liked by journalists, critics and users - there are simply no such projects on the market. Where have you seen that in 2018 you have to play on a split screen! By the way, there is local co-op and online play, so it makes no sense to drag a friend with a gamepad home.

It is worth noting that jailbreak is not the whole story of our brave guys. Freedom was very hard, but we need to move on and study the story, which will tell you a lot of interesting things about our characters. And in this process, you will also constantly interact, help, control the actions of a teammate. The advantage of A Way Out is that when you complete the game as one hero, you can switch with a friend and go through it again, only from a completely different angle, performing new actions. The only problem is to find a friend with the game who wants to get out of prison with you.

Payday 2 (PC, PS3/4, Xbox 360/One, Nintendo Switch)

The first part of Payday was very good - the developers demonstrated cool online co-op features, interesting game mechanics and a storyline. For its time, the product was a real breakthrough, although users preferred multiplayer, and they looked askance at the co-op. After some time, Payday 2 came out, which is so much cooler than the first part on all fronts that the developers even gave the original away for free. Although, absolutely all the fans went to fight in a new project, where there were more missions and weapons, better graphics, more interesting tasks. Even now, five years after the release, the game is very popular.

Payday 2 is a heist simulator where you and your comrades will play the main role. You will need to rob banks, look for loopholes, shoot, defend and hack everything in your path. The difficulty is that a lot of factors affect the successful completion of the task. You need to move quickly and imperceptibly, actively “shoot” the guards, if you can’t do without it, act synchronously at crucial moments. Without the well-coordinated work of the team, there is simply nothing to do here, so it's better to bring a couple of friends to help.

The popularity of the game was ensured by the advanced co-op. You can complete tasks in different ways, change roles, try something non-standard, combine types of equipment. Any of the missions can be completed in dozens of scenarios, and all this time you will not be bored. Any wrong move and your team is already shouting in Skype that you need to act more carefully, after which the mission is restarted. If you're a big fan of co-op and that kind of negotiation during battle, then Payday 2 will definitely be number one on the list.

In addition to all these advantages, the developers also support the game with new content. Yes, most DLCs are paid, but they are worth it and you can buy a whole set at some sale for a penny. In additions, the creators delight you with new weapons that bring something new to the tasks already completed, plus major DLCs add difficult tasks. Some of them are drawn, if not for a full-fledged film, then for a series in some series about robbers. So far, there are no rumors about the third part of the franchise, which means that you can safely take Payday 2, invite friends and have a great time robbing virtual vaults and banks.

Unravel Two (PC, PS4, Xbox One)

Fans of Unravel did not welcome the continuation of the story very warmly, as the developers decided to remove a lot of game mechanics, instead providing a cooperative mode. Someone liked these changes, someone decided that it was time to end the franchise and look for something new. However, if you are looking for a co-op, so that it is interesting and active, it will fit perfectly. The developers tried to make the project interesting for a new audience, plus they raised the difficulty bar a little. Not so much that you are directly sweating with a gamepad in your hands, but the plot cannot be called an easy walk either.

Main character Yarni in the very first location shows us the love of designers for little things - there is something interesting literally at every step. The levels were created with love for the original part, but modern technologies allowed to slightly improve the quality of the picture and show more diverse elements. Graphics have never been the most important thing for Unravel, but it's more fun to play when your eyes are happy, right? In addition to graphics, the gameplay has also been reworked quite well, because now we have two Yarnis. The cooperative. Although, you can “link” the heroes into one character at any time if you decide to play alone.

The virtual world is full of puzzles of varying difficulty. Some of them require you to have a very good reaction and understanding of the physics of this project, in others you need to think over a clear strategy and pull off a trick in a couple of movements. True, they usually give very little time to think - either the enemies are running out, or the heroes themselves are directly pulled forward, towards adventure. During the first hour of the game, you will get used to the controls and mechanics, and then, when your hands get used to it, complex puzzles will fade into the background and you will be able to jump non-stop.

Nice graphics, lack of violence and local co-op make Unravel Two the perfect product for a lot of life situations. Many gamers buy the game to play with their children, and adults also do not refuse to play new story Yarni. Simple and clear control, complete story line and a new virtual world - what else can you demand from developers? By the way, you can download a free demo version and try the gameplay, and only then think about whether or not to take a novelty to your collection.

Left 4 Dead 2 (PC, Xbox 360)

The second part of Left 4 Dead was released back in 2009, and the developers still do not take up the continuation of the series. Valve just doesn't like the number 3, that's not news. Yes, and this is not particularly important, because Left 4 Dead 2 is in great demand even now - users really liked the zombie project, in which the co-op plays a crucial role. Of course, here the storyline is very good, there are subtitles, collectible cards, controller support and everything we love so much. But we are interested in the joint passage, so we'll talk about it.

The first clear advantage of the product is the presence official servers Valve. They always work and allow you to quickly connect with friends to complete missions, there are no problems with ping or crashes. You will be surprised, but for ten-year-old games this is really a big plus, usually developers do not support their old releases so much. In addition, there are many options to play online with friends without connecting to. We will not write a guide about this, since piracy is all business, but if you have Google, then in just five minutes you can fight enemies bypassing the official servers.

The second plus of Left 4 Dead 2 is the ability to play with four people. Everyone chooses a character for themselves, after which you set off as a team. Tasks are large-scale, sometimes consisting of several conditional control points. To pass, you need to act in a coordinated manner, not waste ammo and properly distribute weapons in the team. Someone runs with a shotgun in front, someone carries an automatic rifle in their hands and shoots from afar. You can’t just run forward and shoot in all directions, you will lose very quickly. This is very cool, because working in a team brings completely new emotions that you cannot get in a single player campaign.

And don't forget about the variety of zombies. The developers showed imagination and showed such a set of enemies that it’s even scary to imagine how it was all created. You need to find an approach to all opponents and quickly use all the tricks and architectural features. Some can be removed with a regular headshot, from a big man you need to go a long distance and shoot from all barrels at once, and if you find a witch, then it’s better to give a powerful volley to the head. Left 4 Dead 2 is somewhat reminiscent of the first films about Rocky Balboa - like junk, but the emotions are indescribable.

The Crew 2 (PC, PS4, Xbox One)

First part racing simulator The Crew turned out to be quite good, but there was little content for gamers. In the second part, the developers corrected this defect - now the gamer can travel and participate in competitions on land, water and air transport. That is, now you can fly and swim on racing boats. Yes, and there is more land transport - off-road racing has expanded due to motorcycles and heavy jeeps, street racing has also become more diverse. Apparently, Ubisoft read the reviews of their fans and understand that sometimes the opinion of the community needs to be heeded.

The main advantage of this race from all the others in the genre is the presence of a cooperative. You can literally drive with your friends (up to four people) from one end of the map to the other, race, fly in the air and explore the virtual world in every possible way. No one strictly “glues” the players in activities - everyone can go about their business, and at the right time just join the competition and drive a couple of laps in the company of comrades. opens the door to the world of the coolest co-op in the genre of racing simulators.

There are plenty of activities in the game for a single passage. You can choose one direction of the competition and drive, increasing your driving skill level. For example, you have already played enough street racing and want something unusual. Just take a jeep and go off-road racing - they are awesome. Speed, dirt from under the wheels, sharp turns and jumps on the very edge of the cliffs. If you are completely tired of traveling, then take a plane or a boat. The flight physics is worked out quite well, the same with water types of transport. It doesn't feel like you're sliding through butter.

Most of all The Crew 2 went to the owners of consoles. The fact is that on PS4 or Xbox One games are quite expensive, so gamers are reluctant to buy story projects with 8-10 hours of gameplay. The new racing simulator has a completely different situation with this - you can drive 200 hours, and in virtual world there will still be interesting content. For fans of racing and co-op, this is a real ideal in 2018, there is simply nothing even approximately similar in terms of capabilities on the market. Although, of course, Ubisoft has plenty of haters who will say otherwise.

Portal 2 (PC, PS3, Xbox 360)

This is the second franchise from Valve, which it is high time to continue. In the first part of Portal, the developers showed the players that it is possible to transmit an absolutely amazing gaming experience if there is imagination and resources to implement crazy ideas. At that time, every second person made portals and tried to complete the levels in different ways, stretching the fun. The second part came out in 2011. It is not a head and shoulders above the original, but in some places the graphics have become more beautiful, plus new levels have been added, and we, the fans, do not need more. In addition, the project will delight you with the presence of a cooperative for two people.

By today's standards, this is a very weak co-op, because most modern projects represent a co-op for four people. But, Portal 2 was released seven years ago, then maybe the iron didn’t allow more people to be on the same level, or the developers decided that their brainchild should look like that. Users really liked the result - the game is still bought and played alone or with friends. All because of the unique game mechanics that no one has repeated. Maybe a patent for portals and one-eyed robots?

If you have not played Portal and do not know about the gun that creates portals, then you need to urgently correct the situation. This is the pillar gaming industry. Weapons in your hands do not damage opponents, do not destroy walls, and are not intended for war at all. The cannon creates two holes in space that are connected to each other. You shoot at the ceiling, then at your feet, and now our character endlessly falls into the abyss. Naturally, the developers have thought of a lot of interesting levels where you will need to apply logic and knowledge from the physics section to get to the coveted exit. Nothing too complicated, but sometimes you have to think with your head.

The joint passage is even more interesting, since here you need to work in a team. For example, you need to open the door, and for this you need to stand on the big red button and stand on it. Your friend goes into another room, there is also a button that will let you through. It happens, however, that a friend forgets and sits with a button, and your robot is hit with a door right in the face. There will be a lot of such situations - Portal 2 is quite funny, interesting and kind. There is no violence here, but there are plenty of locations for joint exploration. Oh, if only Valve would think and release the third part.
