The world of ELEX is the world after a global catastrophe caused by a meteorite fall. A giant meteorite, consisting of a substance called ELEX, destroyed the civilization that existed on the planet when it fell. All living things either died or had to adapt to new conditions.

The game starts on a ruined road in the center of the world Eleksa, areas Abessa, where signs of a lost civilization are present in large numbers:

After that, he will be able to go on a long and unforgettable adventure through the world of Elex, during which he will have to face moral choices more than once. Every decision you make will affect the ending of Elex. The developers promise a dozen different scenarios for the development of the game.

During the journey, the player will meet dozens of different characters and complete hundreds of tasks (in addition to the story ones), get unique magical artifacts and technological gadgets for this, rare species armor and weapons, as well as earn a reputation as a fearless hero and protector among the inhabitants of the world of Elex.

Of course, on the way of the hero there will be a variety of enemies, battles with which will take place in real time. Well, at the end of the most difficult quests, he will have a chance to meet bosses, for winning which you can get the most valuable types of rewards.

The new game will have several factions, completing the tasks of which, the player will be able to gradually improve relations with them. True, some factions will be in hostile relations with each other, which means that by helping one, the player will automatically become an enemy for others. In general, at this stage of development, the game looks very nice. And if the developers implement (and do it well) all their other ideas, the project will have a very high chance of becoming the best role-playing game of 2017.

In the game, in some century, there are no problems with the RPG component, the quests are variable, more than half of them can be completed differently than the quest giver prescribes. I won’t say that these are masterpieces and each quest is a sample of the story, far from it, but the fact that quests give freedom, how you solve it, it’s like a sip fresh air after the witchers and fallouts, where the quest always has one solution, and the entire choice can only be made in the dialogue before or after the dialogue.
I was also pleased with the world, alive, as it always was with Piranhas, people actively react to the behavior of the hero.
I was also very pleased with the main plot, and how all the minor notes, quests and audio recordings complete the picture. And missions that seem to be completely unrelated to the main plot suddenly turn out to be more than completely connected with it.
As a result, I will say that the game honestly deserves 7.5 points in the form in which it appeared now. This is one of the best ARPGs on the current generation of consoles. Those who are not embarrassed by the weak technical component, it will undoubtedly please. And if you close your eyes to the technical component - 9.

Howls are heard from players who confuse old-school games, and games like modern MMORPGs. Dear! In Gothic, killing enemies (non-story) never gave a lot of XP. Gothic is not a slasher, where you have to endure everyone and everything. Gothic is a role-playing game. Here, the main points are given for completing quests. You can obsessively beat any lizard, having spent half a day with it and get 2 XP points, and then wipe the children's tears from plump ruddy cheeks - because you offended, nah. And who the hell asked you to kill her? I don't like this concept - play SHADOW OF WAR - there are combat and character animation, and graphics, etc. etc. - it's just that after a while it gets boring to play due to monotony.
What is the result? Against the backdrop of games released in Lately- ELEX isn't that bad. You can play it and most importantly - have fun. Yes, piranha, this is piranha - biting. But in general, this is a small, cute fish, which, against the backdrop of inflatable sharks like UBI and EA, which are dying and emitting stinking net gases, continues to release something on the market, designed not for network marketing and multi-level weaning of the dough, but for the pleasure of the end user. And this is worthy of respect.

And it doesn't matter that they compare wet with warm.
But there are so many negative reviews about this game in which the narrow-minded intelligence, taste and just evil stuffing are clearly visible, that it becomes clear that the toy was a success)
