Prey who are you december walkthrough. Passage of side missions in Prey (2017)

» Prey Grant Lockwood Location – Disgruntled Employee Optional Objective

Disgruntled Employee is a side quest in Prey. It involves finding Grant Lockwood, a former employee who missed his shuttle to Earth. There are several steps to this quest – most are pretty straightforward, but the game doesn't tell you about the most important one at all. In this guide, we're going to show you Prey Grant Lockwood location, so you can finish the Disgruntled Employee optional objective.

Where to find Grant Lockwood

In order to find Grant, you'll first have to go to Deep Storage. Get to the command center, on level 2. When you've dealt with the thermal phantom and the mimics, use the computer left from Danielle Sho's workstation. It will allow you to activate Grant's tracking bracelet. Enter the number 1129 (it's written in the quest description).

Now comes the important part. In order to actually find grant, you'll need to track him through a security station. Luckily, there's one on the first floor of Deep Storage. Open the crew tab and find his name in the Cargo Bay section. Once you click on it, you'll get a quest marker leading to his body.

You can see from the security station that he's dead, and that he's outside the station. Go into space, and the marker will lead you directly to him. Your chances of finding him without the marker are next to nothing, so don't even try it. We found him floating near the shuttle, in the zone outside the magnetosphere – the radiation’s heavy there, so try not to linger.

One of the more unique aspects of Prey is that every dead NPC you find littered around the Talos I space station has a name. It "s not just "Doctor" or "Engineer" anymore.

One side quest tasks you with finding every Talos I employee who went missing as soon as things went wrong at the station. Grant Lockwood is one such employee, whose location is listed as "Talos I Exterior."

How to find Grant Lockwood in Prey

At a certain point in the story, you get the ability to freely fly around outside the Talos I space station. There"s a ton to find out here in the dark reaches of space, including a corpse or two. Human corpses will show up on your HUD when you get close enough, but Grant Lockwood is a little out of the way. According to GameFAQs user jonsarik, you can find him near the derelict shuttle:

I found him new the derelict shuttle a bit from Talos. After reaching the derelict shuttle, I exited heading towards the rear. You "ll see a golden mimic in the far distance (Weaver). Head towards it. After battling it, I noticed a human corpse about 150 meters away. Heading towards it, it turned out to be Grant Lockwood, and he was emitting radiation . That "s where he was for me, and I didn't have to go to a security station, but it was after I activated his tracker. Good luck!

It sounds like you shouldn't do this without a healthy supply of ammo and medkits. There are other activities associated with the derelict shuttle, so you should eventually find yourself in that area as a result of the story. But steer clear until you know you can keep yourself alive.

Before heading to the Psychotronics Lab, take a moment to explore the rest of the Talos 1 Hall. Start by heading to the Security Office located near the door to the Shuttle Bay. The door to Security is locked, but you can unlock it with a well-aimed shot from the Huntress Dart Launcher. First, find the manual override button next to the door inside the security post. Now aim through one of the holes in the small window and take an accurate shot. Once you press the button, the door at the back of the security post will open.

Security Service: Alternate Entry

Instead of firing flexipen darts through the window of the guard post, you can find a pass in the IT department located on the second floor. Go to the IT security department through the service area on the third floor (the main and back doors are locked, but you can also use the code: 0913). From the service area, break the glass panels in the floor and go down to the IT department from above. But this option has the disadvantage of two phantoms lurking inside. You need to quietly sneak into Steve Folson's office and pick up a security pass.

Get access to the Security Service and download the map of the hall. Three letters from Nils Kjærgaard indicate that several people are trapped in the Shuttle Bay and are asking for help from Security. At the guard post, you can find a Weapon Upgrade Kit, as well as an Elias Black character sheet in Fatal Fortress, a popular role play played by station staff.

Sarah Elazar's office is next to the security post. Take the shotgun on Sarah's desk. The shotgun is a powerful melee weapon, ideal for dealing heavy damage to phantoms and other advanced typhon creatures. But unlike the silenced pistol, the shotgun is very loud.

Use it sparingly only when you are discovered. The message on Sarah's terminal (from Alex) talks about a lost EP101 pass - that sounds very important. Take the note attached to the lamp next to Sarah's terminal. The note contains the code to the next room: 1129. Open the safe near Sarah's desk by entering the code: 0526. The safe contains a blueprint for 12 gauge rounds, as well as an EM charge, a salvaging grenade and a null wave silencer.

Open the door to the interrogation room using the code (1129) from the note on Sarah's desk. But be prepared to resist the mimics waiting inside. In addition to the mimic, the room contains the body of Demetri Bowser. Bowser was present during the simulation lab incident. A note on the desk reveals information about the unnumbered Neuromods in Yuuri Kimura's office, which activates an additional objective: Stolen Neuromods.

Recreation room for staff

Access to the staff lounge is restricted due to a damaged door. But there is another way. Return to your office on the third floor and turn towards the large window overlooking the foyer. Break the window with your wrench and drop down to the second floor balcony below, using your Artax propulsion system to slow your descent. From this balcony you can access the staff lounge as well as the IT department. Just watch out for the mimic that is hiding nearby.

This space has a well-equipped kitchen and a waste disposal unit. A few Mimics also lurk among the furnishings. Eliminate the Mimics, then check the supplies in the kitchen. Here you will find the body of Octavia Figgs. Grab her transcript to get an audio diary (This is not a drill). Listening to the tape reveals the code to the pre-flight room in the shuttle bay.

Emergency room

The emergency room door is locked, but a pass can be found at the front desk on the first floor, or in Bianca Goodwin's office on the third floor. But think twice before entering. The emergency room is patrolled by a phantom and a thermal phantom. Make sure your weapons are fully loaded, especially the shotgun, gypsum gun, and K-beam gun. Access the terminal in the waiting room. In it, you can upload a map of the lobby, as well as keep track of crew members.

Before exploring the rest of the emergency room, take out the phantom and the thermal phantom, a deadly variety of phantom that uses area of fire (AoE) attacks. Keep moving so you don't get burned. Stay away from him and use the K-Beam in combat. If your K-Beam is low on ammo, rely on your shotgun.

Gas pipes and flammable liquids

The fire broke out in the emergency room, caused by a ruptured gas line. Stay away from open flames to avoid damage. Luckily, you can put out the fire using your gypsum gun. Start by sealing holes in the gas pipeline. Then extinguish the puddle of flammable liquid with a blue flame. Watch out for gas pipes and flammable liquid spills in the future. It is sometimes useful to make fires to put a wall of fire between yourself and the typhon pursuer.

Enter the consultant's office - Matthias Kohl. Find and search the corpse of April McGuire (located near the doorway). Then enter Kohl's terminal. The Files tab contains the Audio Diaries of three patients: Dr. Calvino, Sarah Elazar, and Danielle Shaw. Transfer all three files to your transcriber.

Find the body of Luther Glass at the back of the emergency room. Take the Neuromod from him. Nearby, you can access the operator distributor to call the medical bot. Talk to him to get medical help and fully restore health. Whenever possible, use Medical Operators to heal - keep a first aid kit and other healing items for emergencies. While you're in this area, look around the various cabinets for useful supplies. The blueprint for the first aid kit is located near the Regina Sellers terminal, next to the microscope.

Psychotronics: Foyer

The General Access Pass opens the door to the Psychotronics lobby, on the first floor. In addition to Elias Black's terminal, this room also has a safe. Although the safe code cannot be entered, it can be cracked if you have the Hacker II skill. The safe contains a Weapon Upgrade Kit and four Neuromods. This content alone makes Hacker a useful skill to add to your repertoire.

Who are you, December?

Problem Description: I was contacted by another operator named December. Like January, he has my voice. However, December's directive is to help me escape Talos 1. He claims that before I lost my memory, I hid the key to Alex's personal escape pod in one of the Neuromods department's rooms.

Operator "December" contacts you at the entrance to the lobby of Psychotronics. Unlike January, this operator has instructions to help you escape the space station using Alex's escape pod. If you are going to complete this Extra Quest, you must return to the Neuromod Department where the game started. This should be thought about now before going deeper into the Psychotronics laboratory.

Back in the Neuromods department, go to the Simulation Research Room. Climb up the tall console on the left side of the room to find Alex's pass. However, instead of finding the key to Alex's escape pod, you will find a note from him. It looks like he understood what you were up to and took the pass. But there is also a briefcase with a number of supplies, including food and a Stunner taser. December contacts you and asks you to meet in the lobby of the neuromod department.

By the time you get to the lobby, January will have already caught and destroyed December. He urges you to continue your journey through Sagitta, insisting that operators like December cannot be trusted. Search December's remains for a Neuromod and a note. The note contains the code to Alex's safe, which is located in his office, in the Arboretum. Perhaps the key to the escape pod is in this safe? You will be able to continue the task as soon as you gain access to Alex's office.

Back in the Psychotronics foyer, head down the hallway where December originally contacted you and carefully descend the large stairwell. An ethereal phantom (like the one you encountered in the Teleconferencing Center) patrols this staircase. Given the tight restrictions on the stairwell, it's nearly impossible to slip past this menace. So aim your K-Beam and open fire. If you run out of ammunition, then switch to the gypsum gun and immobilize the enemy. Then take out the shotgun to finish the job.

Search the area around the base of the stairwell for more items. Then go to the door at the end of the corridor leading to Psychotronics. The body of Joel Wicks lies on the floor in front of the door. Search him. Then use the console on the door to enter the Psychotronics Lab.

Psychotronics Laboratory

Since access to the Arboretum elevator is currently unavailable, January planned an alternate route leading through the Psychotronics Lab. From here you can access the station's tunnel system called Sagitta (Eng. Gravity Utility Tunnel System - G.U.T.S.) and go to the Arboretum, at the top of the station. But Psychotronics is by no means safe - it was from here that the typhons escaped and spread throughout the station. Arcs of electricity intermittently block your path, crackling from a damaged electrical connection on the left side of the hallway. Shoot the faulty panel with the gypsum gun. This will give you some time to cross the dangerous area. If you have spare parts and repair skill II, you can repair the electrical panel.

Security point

Directly outside the door is a large circular room. Pass through it directly, to the point of protection. Watch out for Mimics lurking in this area. The door to the security post is locked, but you can break it in if you have the Hacker II skill. Otherwise, break the window to the left of the door using an adjustable wrench. Then aim at the terminal inside with your Huntress Dart Launcher. First, open the Features tab on the screen. Then press the button at the bottom of the screen to unlock the door to the security booth.

Once inside the guard post, use the terminal and load the Psychotronics Lab Map into your transcriber. There is also an interesting email from Hans Kelstrup demanding that Dr. Gallegos be arrested - this might be worth looking into. Then collect supplies, including ammo and a weapon upgrade kit. Two turrets are also located inside the guard post.

K-Beam Upgrade

As you collect weapon upgrade kits, consider using them to upgrade your K-Beam Launcher. Focus on power and fire time improvements first. Once fully upgraded, this already powerful weapon becomes indispensable when facing advanced typhon creatures. To fully upgrade a weapon, you must invest Neuromods in the Technician I and Technician II skills. However, it's still important to use the K-Beam Thrower sparingly, as there isn't much ammo for this experimental weapon.

Finishing room

The corridor behind the security point splits left and right. Both paths lead to the dressing rooms, where the station personnel were preparing to move directly to the Psychotronics laboratory. The path to the right, leading to the men's locker room, is blocked. But the path through the women's locker room on the left is free. Deploy one of the turrets taken from the guard post in front of the entrance to the women's locker room. She will help you deal with the phantom. Lure him to the turret and destroy him. Be sure to read Volume 3 of the Star Trek series in the women's locker room before moving on.

Behind the women's locker room is a decontamination chamber. However, entry is prohibited until you receive the psychoscope. Grab your turret and enter the men's locker room, through the unobstructed exit nearby. Deploy the turret in the men's locker room and look for a hole in the floor. Allison Brady's body lies next to the breach. Search it for supplies, then drop down through the hole in the floor.

Turn on the flashlight and search the narrow maintenance tunnel under the men's locker room. A few Mimics are disguised here, so be prepared to beat them up with your monkey wrench. Find the body of Janos Jozsef - take the psychoscope and other supplies from him, including two neuromods.

The psychoscope is an optical device used to scan typhons. Scanning reveals new abilities that you can acquire by installing Neuromods. Keeping the psychoscope active, return to the hole in the floor of the men's locker room. A little higher you can spot Mimics and a Phantom (if your turret didn't destroy them). Keep an enemy in line of sight with the psychoscope and the device will automatically scan. After performing such an analysis, you will know the weaknesses, immunities and abilities of the typhon. Scanning a Mimic reveals Mimicry I, which allows you to temporarily transform yourself into any small object.

Typhon abilities

Scanning typhons with a psychoscope is necessary to detect special typhon abilities that appear on your neuromod transcriptor interface. Just like with human abilities, you need to use neuromods to develop typhon skills. They consume Psi energy. Your Psi is displayed as a purple bar below the suit's integrity meter. This energy can be restored by using special injectors - these items are similar to first aid kits and can be quickly used through the favorites wheel (default Q on PC).

Turrets and typhons

Up to this point, turrets have been your best friends. But everything can change if you get too carried away with studying the capabilities of typhons - in this case, the turrets will not be able to distinguish you from typhonic organisms and will attack as soon as you appear in their field of view. If you learn one Typhon ability, such as Mimicry I, the turrets will still be friendly to you. If you develop two or more Typhon abilities, the turrets will open fire on you. The way out of this situation is the Hacker II ability, with which you can hack and reconfigure the turret.

Disinfection

Get out of the gap in the men's locker room and eliminate the mimics and the phantom if they were not killed by your turret. Now that you have obtained the psychoscope, you can enter the decontamination chamber. Search Steven Mueller's body near the gravity lift. There may also be a scientific operator in this area - be sure to scan it with a psychoscope to get more data. Similar to Medical and Engineering Operators, you can speak to Science Operators to replenish your Psi Meter. When you're ready to move on, enter the grav lift and travel to the Psychotronics Atrium.

Atrium

Alex contacts you when you enter the Atrium. While he's not happy with your decision to follow January's directives, he's still your big brother and doesn't want you to get hurt. Alex advises calibrating the psychoscope by scanning the phantoms in the neighboring chambers.

Explore the sarcophagus chambers in the center of the Atrium. Three of them contain typhons. Some cameras have a protective shield that must be lifted before you can scan the phantom inside. Interact with the screen on the protective shell to pick it up. Scan the phantoms in the chambers to advance your research. To complete research on this organism, you must scan a total of four separate phantoms. Once the research is completed, you will be able to use neuromods to develop abilities: Kinetic Blast. This skill allows you to use Psi energy to launch a directed kinetic strike at enemies. By the same principle as the phantoms themselves attack.

After scanning the phantoms, Alex hands over the code to Dr. Kelstrup's safe, which contains the Neuromods. He wants you to use Neuromods to learn Typhon's ability. Alex believes this is critical to survival.

Director's office

After exploring the Atrium, head to Dr. Kelstrup's office. The door is locked, but you can enter through one of the two windows located on the sides of the entrance. Use the wrench to break the windows and jump inside.

Dr. Kelstrup's office is quite large, reflecting his status as Director of the Psychotronics Laboratory. It has its own Utilizer and Fabricator, the only such devices in this lab. Before exploring the office, repair the damaged electrical assembly above Dr. Kelstrup's body. Otherwise, you will die from arcs of electricity. You can access the power supply terminal at the back of the office (accessible through the maintenance hatch) to turn off the power before making repairs. Don't forget to restore power if you want to access Kelstrup's terminal, Recycler, and Fabricator.

Gain access to Dr. Kelstrup's terminal. On the features tab, select the Mirrors Conference Room and click Allow Access. This unlocks a secret entrance leading to Kelstrup's Mirror Station. In the same place in the functions, view archived videos that describe the first fatal contact of mankind with typhons. The terminal also contains several revealing letters, including one from Alex about Dr. Gallegos. Kelstrup's body lies on the floor, next to his terminal. Search him for two passes: one for his office and one for his quarters, located in the living section.

Now that you can create your own Neuromods, go to the Fabricator and create a few. It takes one Organic Block, one Mineral Block, one Plastic Block, and three Exotic Blocks to craft one Neuromod - that's why it's so important to scavenge and harvest Typhon Organs. You can craft up to seven Neuromods using a blueprint. After that, an error occurs that starts an additional job.

Copy protection

Issue Description: Neuromod lead researcher Holden Graves has revoked all licenses to create Neuromods. I need to find his office and figure out how to upgrade my license so I can make more Neuromods.

When an error occurs when trying to create more Neuromods, Alex reveals that Holden Graves has limited the number of Neuromods that can be created. You will need to find Graves' office in the Neuromods department and renew your license so you can produce Neuromods without restrictions. In the meantime, stay in Psychotronics. You can return to the Neuromod department later.

Station "Mirrors"

Find the locked door at the back of Dr. Kelstrup's office, to the right of the Fabrikator. This is the secret door you unlocked from his terminal. Kelstrup's office pass opens this door, allowing you to access his Mirrors station.

Go down the stairs leading to the station "Mirror". This station allowed Kelstrup to remotely hold meetings with Alex and other Talos 1 personnel. Pick up the transcriber on the floor to get an audio diary of the conversation between Dr. Calvino and Dr. Kelstrup. Dr. Calvino tasks Kelstrup with calibrating the station's touch screen by touching the green dot. Find the green dot on the screen and touch it when it appears. After a frightening moment, the "Mirror" screen becomes faulty.

Follow the short corridor on the left side of the station until you see a maintenance access hatch. Open it and go through to search the area behind the Mirror. Here you can find some scrap items for recycling, as well as ammo for your gypsum gun. As you exit this area, be prepared for the phantom you spotted while calibrating the touchscreen. Use your gypsum gun to slow him down, then scan him and then attack with your wrench. Once the phantom is eliminated, return through Dr. Kelstrup's office to the Atrium.

In the Atrium, go to the large round door marked Containment. This is the calibration point for the psychoscope. Approach the door and wait until it opens automatically. Right outside the door is a massive shield cell filled with some kind of orange energy field, scan the weaver's typhon in it. Ignore the large containment chamber for now and look for the doorway labeled Lab B (Lab B). Head through the doorway and onto the adjacent stairs to reach the level above the Atrium. Before moving on to Sagitta, it would be wise to look for something in these laboratories.

Lab B

After climbing the stairs, enter the first door on the left to access Lab B. There are Mimics crawling around the lab, so it will take some time to clear it. Try to scan the Mimics before killing them. Your activities in Lab B may also attract some phantoms. Do your best to stay undetected, but be prepared to immobilize the phantom with your gypsum cannon before finishing them off with a pistol or shotgun. Try to avoid using the K-Beam at this location to conserve ammo.

After eliminating all the typhons, find materials in the laboratory, including several spare parts. Nearly every item in the lab is labeled "Not a Mimic!". Apparently, the leak caused some justified paranoia among the laboratory staff.

Turret in lab B

If you're having trouble with the Mimics and Phantoms in Lab B area, there's a broken turret in the adjoining room, next to Helen Barker-Combs's office. Repair and install it. Then try to lure the enemies into the line of sight of the turret. Remember - if you have developed several typhon abilities, then you should hack the turret so that it does not attack you.

Exit Lab B and find Rory Menion's body lying in the hallway near the Behavior Biometrics room. Search his body to get an audio diary of Rory's conversation with Damien Lynn. They had plans to escape through the arboretum.

Enter the Behavioral Biometrics section. Use your wrench to destroy the pieces of plaster blocking the entrance to the lab.

Biometrics of behavior

In this lab, you can find two Neuromods, as well as a Typhon Lure. The Typhon Lure, also known as "Nightlight", emits a psycholuminescent signal that attracts Typhons. These devices can be used to escape, ambush, or observe the Typhon from a safe distance. Press the button next to the "Nightlight Testing" camera and watch the mimic inside follow the glowing lure.

This lab also houses three separate chambers used for the study of typhons. Use your psychoscope to scan your facial expressions in the Nightlight Camera, as well as your facial expressions in the Null Wave Camera. The third chamber contains a strange looking golden glowing substance. Apparently, Typhon wove these filamentous structures out of thin air. But Alex and the researchers on Talos 1 don't understand why.

Access Rory Menion's terminal to experiment with the Null Wave Silencer in the Functions tab. When the device is triggered, your psi counter will temporarily reset to zero. A Nullwave Silencer, developed in Psychotronics, emits a stream of signals that suppress the psionic abilities of Typhons. These devices can be thrown or attached to stationary objects. Grab the two Null Wave Jammers on the table next to Rory Menion's terminal.

Office of Mitsuko Tokaji

The door to Mitsuko Tokaji's office is closed. But you can access it using your Huntress Dart Launcher. Break the window with a wrench first. Then aim at the terminal with the dart launcher. You need the features tab and then the button at the bottom of the screen to unlock the door. The button is quite small, so it may take a few tries before you can get in. Search Tokaji's office for resources and her transcriber. Here you'll find K-Beam ammo, a weapon upgrade kit, and a pair of Null Wave Silencers.

Gateway

Exit Lab B area and head towards Lab A. Along the way, stop at the airlock and open it. psychotronics are now accessible from the Talos 1 exterior. Locate Andrea Hudson's body before continuing on to Lab A.

Lab A

Enter the open doorway leading to Lab A. The station shudders as you enter and several cans fall to the floor. This may attract the attention of some Mimics. Repair the broken turret along the way and take it with you. You will need it soon. Don't forget to hack the turret if you've installed some neuromods in the typhon ability.

Inside the second room of the laboratory, search the body of Evan Avery. Now pay attention to the office of Annalisa Gallegos. The door is blocked and the window is boarded up with plaster. Before destroying the plaster pieces, take a look at the note next to the window warning of several Mimics trapped inside. Deploy the turret from the previous room so it looks out this window. Once the turret is in place, break the plaster blocking the window. Step aside and let the turret deal with the mimics crawling in through the window. Another good option there will be a salvage grenade thrown through the window into the Mimic lair.

Annalize Gallegos' office

After the Mimics have been eliminated, go through the window to Annalize Gallegos' office. Gallegos is still sitting at his desk, but no longer alive. Take the Neuromod on the table. Search her body to retrieve the transcript, which contains two audio diaries. Listen to the "Souvenirs" recording, which will activate a new Extra Quest. Be sure to find Corey Richard's body to get 9mm handgun ammo.

Phantoms attack

After searching Annalisa Gallegos's office, prepare to encounter several phantoms patrolling Lab A, including one in the nearby medical bay. Use your gypsum cannon and deployed turret to deal with these threats.

containment zone

Return to the Atrium and then proceed to the containment area. To the left of the massive containment chamber is a corridor leading to the raw material processing department. Torn gas pipes filled this corridor with fire. Use the gypsum gun to seal the first hole in the highway. But watch out for Mimics rushing towards you through the remaining flames. Fire sets Mimics on fire, dealing heavy damage to them. Just stand back and let the fire destroy these small and annoying aliens.

Continue down the corridor, using your gypsum gun to patch up the cracks in the pipes. At the end of the hallway, use the adjustable wrench to destroy the pieces of gypsum blocking access to the Raw Materials Processing Department.

Raw material processing

Live "volunteer" Aaron Ingram is locked in a cell in the raw material processing department. Approach the camera to start an additional task. Here you need to decide whether the object will live or die. These are exactly the tests Annalize Gallegos opposed. Scan Aaron in the camera to reveal research data on the person.

Prisoner in the laboratory of psychotronics

Quest Description: I came across an experiment with a volunteer who is locked in a chamber designed to turn Mimics into exotic material. This person would surely die in the process, but the fabricated material would be extremely useful. However, if I let him go, he will give the armory code.

Use the terminal located in front of the camera. The report states that the subject (Aaron Ingram) is a prisoner from Earth and lists his crimes. Do you want to release it or do an experiment? The decision is yours. To release the subject, go to the "Door Control" tab and open the cell door. If you free Aaron Ingram, he will give you the code to the nearest armory. If you decide to experiment on a prisoner, open the Mimic Breeding tab and press the series of buttons that release the Mimics. They kill the prisoner before their breeding. After detonating a salvage grenade inside the chamber, you can enter and collect exotic material obtained from Mimics.

Arsenal: Alternate Entrance

If you choose to kill the prisoner, you can still access the armory. Find a window in the arsenal in the corridor and clear it of pieces of gypsum with an adjustable wrench. Use the Huntress Dart Launcher to fire through the window, aiming for the switch next to the armory door. In case of a successful hit, the door will be opened.

Arsenal

Whether you unlocked the door yourself or got the code from Aaron Ingram, enter the armory to collect some useful items, including a Neuromod, weapon upgrade kit, blueprints, and various ammo. In the armory, you can also find the turret and the body of Damien Lynn.

Vault of Exotic Matter

Opposite the cell with the prisoner is a door leading to the storage of exotic matter. If you have previously repaired the outer case and restored the tightness, you can enter this room. Otherwise, this room is not available. Find the body of Christine Lloyd lying next to the door and take the transcriptor from her with an audio diary that triggers an additional task.

Million dollar sealer

Task Description: José Costa was tasked with repairing a small breach in the hull and restoring the atmosphere in the Exotic Matter Storage in the Psychotronics Lab. If I complete his work, then I will have access to this part of the station.

If you want to get into the exotic matter vault, then you need to do the work of José Costa. Go back to the airlock inside the psychotronics and gain access to the skin of the Talos-1. During the spacewalk, find the body of José Costa. Next to it, you will notice a hole in the station's hull. Use the gypsum gun to close the gap and then return to psychotronics. After the breach is closed, you can enter the exotic matter vault.

Use the turret found in the armory to deal with the phantom hiding in the material storage. Once the threat has been eliminated, search the area and collect supplies. This part of the station is filled with exotic material scattered across the floor. You can also find some food in two cells. When you're done, return to the containment area and head into the hallway leading to the observation room.

observation department

The passage leading to Sagitta will be sealed until you pass the experiment in the observation room. The volunteer's body is inside a large chamber in the center of the room. Approach the terminal next to the camera. Go to the Manage Exam Room tab in the terminal and select Open Containment. When the screen opens, activate your psychoscope and scan the weaver in the central containment chamber, if you haven't already done so.

Somehow the weaver interacts with the body inside the chamber, creating an electrophantom. Scan this new enemy to reveal its weaknesses, immunities, and abilities. Take an EM Charge and throw it at an Electro-Phantom to temporarily disable its abilities. Attack with the K-Beam as the Electrophantom exits the chamber. Keep the weapon beam on aim until the enemy explodes. But stay away from him. The Electro-Phantom emits powerful electrical discharges that can cause malfunctions in the K-Beam Launcher and GLIPS Cannon. However, your pistol and shotgun are not affected by them.

After the electrophantom is destroyed, the experiment ends and the path to Sagitta opens. Alex contacts you with new information about typhons. Apparently, they are incapable of empathy, hence their cruelty. While Alex is talking, search the area and collect supplies, including checking the remains of the Electro-Phantom and Ruby Stone's body to get the blueprint for the Psi Injector.

Morgue

Before leaving for Sagitta, take a minute to the morgue, via the gravity lift of the observation room. Find a broken turret near Damian Lynn's terminal. Repair it and place it in front of the door leading to the autopsy room where the Mimics crawl. While you're here, grab the medkit and anti-rad blueprint from Lynn's desk.

Search the autopsy room after taking out any Mimics inside with the turret. Collect all the materials and find the body of Mitsuko Tokaji.

The door to the morgue is closed, so you need to find another way to get inside. Use your wrench to break the window next to Damian Lynn's desk. Now arm yourself with the Huntress Dart Launcher and aim at the switch next to the door. Enter and collect the Neuromods along with the Morgue Pass.

Access to Sagitta

Return to the observation room via the grav lift, then turn right to enter the corridor leading to Sagitta. Watch out for a phantom in this area.

Sagitta (Gravity Utility Tunnel System)

Engineering level

Before entering the tunnel system, visit the salvage room in this staging area. The utilizer is located at the bottom along with the distributor of operators. Hack the dispenser to activate an engineer to repair your suit. Gather the materials in this lower area, including the salvage grenade next to Eric Berger's terminal. Another salvage grenade is in the nearby cabinet. Optimize your inventory with the Recycler. When you're ready to exit, go back upstairs and go through the round doorway to enter the Sagitta tunnel system.

Service tunnel

Sagitta is a microgravity environment. Maneuvering here is identical to moving around the exterior of the Talos 1. January reports that these tunnels are running the entire length of the station. In addition to delivering essentials such as food, water and air through channels, the tunnels are also used by operators to move cargo from the cargo hold to the arboretum. Locate Eric Berger's body shortly after entering the tunnel to obtain an EM Charge blueprint. This section of the tunnel is linear. Move forward and turn on your flashlight to illuminate the dark areas. Go through the round door at the end of the tunnel, following the signs: Cargo Tunnel and Magnetosphere.

Just outside the door, you encounter some unknown type of Typhon. Activate the psychoscope to scan. Cystoid nests adhere to the sides of the tunnel system and produce unstable cystoids. When cystoid nests burst, numerous small cystoids emerge and move erratically in flocks. Be careful - if you get too close to the cystoids, they will immediately move in your direction, and after approaching, this whole small army of bizarre spheres explodes, which causes enough damage to kill you twice. Luckily, Cystoid nests can be destroyed quite easily with a gypsum gun. Usually one or two shots are enough to set off a chain reaction and destroy both the nest and the cystoids themselves.

Make your way through the Watch Station and gather some supplies while keeping an eye on the Cystoid nests blocking the path to the next doorway. Keeping a distance, direct a couple of shells from the gypsum gun towards the nests. Cystoids can explode near gas pipelines along the perimeter of the tunnel. So stay away from these trunk lines in case they burst and burst into flames. Once the area is cleared of cystoids, proceed to the next section of the Sagitta.

Move carefully through the next tunnel, destroying the cystoid nests along the way. Turn on the flashlight and find the body of Kimberly Bomo. She has a note with a code for the next doorway. Once you have the code, eliminate the cystoid nests in the rest of the tunnel before approaching the locked door. After the passage is clear, enter the code on the door keypad to gain access to the next part of the tunnel.

Infection with cystoids in this area is prohibitive. Activate your psychoscope to scan nests and swarms of cystoids. Stay away and shoot the nests with the gypsum gun. Find the Neuromod at the nearest monitoring station.

The door mechanism at the end of the tunnel section is faulty. The door slowly opens and closes on its own. In addition, the path is blocked by electrical arcs erupting from a damaged electrical panel. Seal the electrical connection with plaster and then repair. Fixing the electrical connection does not fix the door mechanism, but now you can safely wait for the passage to open without fear of getting an electric shock.

As you move through the next span of the tunnel, your Artax propulsion system will temporarily fail. January reports that the cause was an impulse from the nearby magnetosphere. The door leading to the cargo tunnel is closed. You have to go through the magnetosphere to get a pass. Find Ramon Ridley's body above the center of the tunnel and check his supplies. The entrance to the magnetosphere is located next to Ramon's body.

Magnetosphere

medical bay

Gravity in the control room of the magnetosphere is at a familiar level, allowing you to move more naturally. Turn left before entering. Here, a damaged door leads to the medical bay. You can enter if you have the Typhon ability Mimicry I (you only need one Neuromod to activate it). Use Mimicry to turn into a small object, large enough to fit through the hole at the base of the damaged door.

Once inside the emergency room, look for supplies and also activate the medical operator to heal yourself. Once you've stocked up on supplies and health, use Mimicry I again and exit the emergency room. Remember that using Typhon abilities (such as Mimicry) consumes psi energy. While you are in a transformed state, psi energy is being consumed at a constant rate, so don't stay in your altered state for too long. Psi energy can be restored using injectors or a scientific operator.

Magnetosphere control

Go to the magnetosphere control room. Find the body of Laurel Davis and pick up her transcriptor. The panicked audio diary entry states that Anders Klein is dead and in the magnetosphere chamber. Kline has a pass that leads to the cargo tunnel. Periodic plasma shock waves pierce the magnetosphere chamber. If you have developed the Hacker III ability, you can hack the Laurel Davis terminal. Before turning off the magnetosphere, unlock the emergency power compartment located inside the chamber. Then turn off the magnetosphere to make it easier to get a pass from Anders Klein's body.

Security point and safe

While in the control room, go to the security post to load the map of Sagitta. On the Crew tab, select Josh Dalton under Hardware Lab. You need to find Dalton in order to continue the Blackbox Project side mission. Also in the control room, under the stairs is a safe. The safe contains a weapon upgrade kit, two salvage grenades, and some spare parts. You can find the password to the safe in the adjacent restroom behind the toilet paper on the shelf. The second book in the Star Trek series is on the same shelf in the closet.

Pick up the gypsum gun and climb the nearby stairs (path to the magnetosphere chamber). The corridor upstairs is filled with cystoids. Due to gravity, these cystoids do not float through the air. Instead, they roll on the floor. Make a plaster barrier in front of you, creating a kind of protective wall. Exploding cystoids can rupture an adjacent gas line, so be prepared to step into the role of a master gasser and seal pipe breaks. The science operator in this corridor can replenish your psi energy. There is also a small space above this passage where you can find some useful items, including an EM Charge (create plaster steps to get to this area).

Enter the magnetosphere chamber and find the body of Anders Klein. Take a couple of neuromods from him and a pass to the service tunnel. If you temporarily shut down the magnetosphere via the Laurel Davis terminal, then you don't have to worry about the plasma pulses shutting down your propulsion system.

Stocks for emergencies

The storage compartment is located at the top of the chamber. It contains a pair of EM charges and a null-wave silencer. You can also open it through the Laurel Davis terminal.

Get out of the magnetosphere chamber and return to the control room. As you approach the stairs, look out for a couple of infected Operators. Use your gypsum cannon to immobilize enemies. Then scan them with a psychoscope. While the infected operator is immobilized, unload the Stunner shocker or use a pistol on him. Be sure to check the remains of each operator to collect ammo for the K-Beam Launcher.

Service tunnel

Return to the service tunnel and approach the locked door leading to the cargo tunnel. Use the pass you received from Anders Klein to unlock the door. The tunnel behind the door is filled with the golden typhon substance you first encountered in the Behavioral Biometrics Lab. January reports that the entire ecology of Typhons is centered around the creation of this unusual substance (the researchers named it Coral). But they still do not understand what purpose it is created for. Don't be afraid to move straight through the Coral - it won't hurt you.

cargo tunnel

The service tunnel ends at a T-junction with the cargo tunnel. Study the signs here and move towards the arboretum. Activate your psychoscope to scan the weaver hovering in the middle of this tunnel. Although you can sneak past him, it's still best to split this typhon into atoms using the K-beam gun. The weaver is responsible for creating a nest of cystoids nearby. Once you eliminate it, use your gypsum gun to clear the area of cystoids.

Blackbox Project (continued)

Before you enter the arboretum, try looking for Josh Dalton. Head down the cargo tunnel towards the cargo bay. As you exit the curved pipe and enter subsection 16, descend to the bottom of the tunnel and follow the path of the large stainless steel pipe.

Find Josh Dalton at the dead end of the tunnel. His body is surrounded by several cystoids. Defeat them and then search Dalton's body for K-Beam Ammunition, a Blackbox Lab Pass, and a Transcriptor. You can also retrieve ammo from the nearby K-Beam Launcher. Audio diary on transcriptor (Sting Operation), in which you can hear a heated argument between Josh and Lane Carpenter, his colleague. It seems that this conversation ended tragically for Carpenter. To resume the challenge, go to the Wave Physics Lab in the Hardware Lab and use the new pass to enter the Blackbox Lab.

radioactive waste

While driving through the cargo tunnel, avoid contact with containers containing radioactive waste. If you get too close, you will suffer from radiation poisoning, which will require you to take "antirad" to cure it. Try to eliminate these disposal grenade canisters. These charges not only disintegrate the canisters, but also remove all traces of radiation.

Director level

Continue through the cargo tunnel until you reach the door leading to the arboretum. Log out of the tunnel system to access this storage area. Here you can find a number of supplies, including a typhon lure and a salvage grenade. When you're done searching, enter the arboretum.

Arboretum

Sagitta Loading Dock

This loading area receives cargo via Sagitta from the cargo hold. Be careful, mimics are hiding here. Also here are the only ones in the arboretum - a utilizer and a fabricator. Find the body of Jia Kung-Ho, one of the Talos 1 security personnel. He has a gun, a neuromod and a transcriptor with him. The Stunner Shocker is also located next to his body.

After working with the Recycler and Fabricator, head up the nearby stairs. The door at the top of the stairs doesn't work. A massive, unknown typhon roams the path outside the door. January warns you to stay away from this typhon. You can try to scan it with a psychoscope, but it quickly disappears from view. The door can be opened by force if you have the Climb III ability. Otherwise, you need to find another way out.

Turn right from the door. Find the body of Mark Sellers, half hanging from the air duct. Jump in and search it. Move on and get into the arboretum through the hatch.

experimental plants

Look around. The arboretum is unlike any facility on Talos 1 because it is filled with lush vegetation. In addition to supplying the station with oxygen, the plants grown in the arboretum are used as food by the crew. Researchers here are experimenting with different soils, fertilizers and watering regimes to create new types of fruits and vegetables.

Pantry

The closet next to Dr. Howard's experiment site is locked down. You can hack the console if you have the Hacker I ability. There are a few random items in the closet, including food and various parts. Watch out, there's a mimic lurking inside, so every object is a suspect.

Walk forward a little to find the body of Evelyn McCarthy. Shotgun next to her body. Several broken turrets are also nearby. If you have more than one typhon ability, hack the turrets before repairing them. If you don't hack these turrets, they will attack you. Grab one of the turrets and carry it up the steps leading to the greenhouse.

Greenhouse

As you approach the main door of the greenhouse, Rodney S. Pool tries to get your attention from the inside. He begs to open the door by banging on a nearby window. Use your psychoscope to scan an unknown typhon flying inside the greenhouse. This is a telepath. He is able to take over the minds of people and turn them into his mindless slaves. Watch as a telepath controls Rodney S. Poole. There is nothing you can do to stop this, but you can still save Rodney and the rest of the staff trapped inside the greenhouse. Stop at the window and scan the part of the crew under the control of the telepath. Don't get too close to them or their heads will explode!

Dr. Howard's password

The greenhouse terminal can be accessed using Dr. Julien Howard's password. Find his password on a note next to Iris Stein's body, not far from the foyer of the residential section. Pay attention to the neuromod, which is located on the nearby chessboard.

Save Rani

Description of the problem: Rani and the others were captured by a typhon telepath. Killing him can free them.

Pick up the note on the ground right in front of the main greenhouse door to start this side quest. Rani offers to kill the telepath in order to save those whose minds he controls.

Deploy the turret near the greenhouse. Although she cannot shoot through the windows, she will target the telepath inside and get his attention. The telepath can fly, which allows him to hide through the roof of the greenhouse. Watch out for the Typhon outside and attack him with the K-Beam. Killing a telepath renders all mind-controlled subjects unconscious, but at least they are alive.

If you do not want to wait for the telepath to fly outside the greenhouse, then open the doors through the terminal. To access it, you will need Julien Howard's password (see above). You can also hack the terminal if you have the Hacker III ability. Across open doors the telepath will be at a lower altitude, so it will be easier for you to destroy him. Watch out for the victims of the telepath! Use the Stunner Shocker if they attack.

After the telepath is eliminated, enter the greenhouse and talk to Rani Chodari. She is the only crew member left conscious. Rani is grateful for your help and gives the code to the armory (Warehouse AR01). Find some turrets there, which can be very useful in fighting the Typhons. Meanwhile, Rani heads to the cargo hold. You complete this side quest by using the code you received.

While you're still in the greenhouse, look around. Here you can stock up on tomatoes and pomegranates. Also find the Null Wave Silencer in the supply crate near the main door. In addition, you can use the scientific operator dispenser to replenish your psi energy. Don't forget to search the unconscious crew members (Rodney S. Poole and Mickey Pitt Sr.). Find Edna Burton at the back entrance to the greenhouse. She has a disposal grenade.

Water pressure regulator

Remove the water pressure regulator from the workbench inside the greenhouse. This detail will come in handy later, once you gain access to the living section.

Foyer

After inspecting the greenhouse, exit and go up the large staircase where you repaired the two turrets earlier. Enter the corridor leading to the Talos-1 hall. Two active turrets guard the main door. Find Jenny King's body along the way. Take the typhon bait and first aid kit from her. Go down the lobby corridor and look for the corpse of Lily Morris on the right. Her transcriptor activates a new optional task.

Smugglers on the Talos

Task Description: Lily Morris worked with Eddie Voss and other researchers on the station to steal company secrets and technology. Eddie set up caches on Talos to give these stolen goods to someone who works in the cargo hold, from where they would be shipped from Talos.

Listen to the audio recording (Three wrench strokes) on Lily Morris' transcriber to start this optional challenge. The first cache is located a little higher, above the body of Morris - this is a red alarm bell. Hit it three times with the adjustable wrench to reveal a hidden stash containing ammo and a Neuromod. This is the first of six such caches. Look for the same alarms to find other caches.

medical bay

You can restore health in the medical bay on the right side of the corridor. Here you can pick up a first aid kit and call a medical operator. There is a maintenance hatch in the corner of the room that leads to a secret storage room. The hatch is blocked by two boxes. If you have the Climb I ability, you can remove the crates and crawl through the air duct. Don't get hung up on this hotspot. There is an easier way to get inside.

Secret warehouse

There are two ways to get into the secret storage area. Through the maintenance panel in the medical bay, or by breaking one of the two aquarium screens framing the doorway to the Talos-1 lobby. In any case, be prepared to confront the ethereal phantom (or electrophantom). It's best to lure this typhon into the foyer corridor. In this case, two turrets will take care of them.

Explore the interior of this large space and collect supplies. Find a pantry behind the cage, where you can collect a lot of useful items. The passage is blocked by crates, which you can move with the Climb III skill, or use a salvage grenade. You can also transform into a small object with Mimicry I and then sneak into the gap under the cage. Inside, you'll find the body of Karyn Buckley, along with a weapon upgrade kit and a blueprint for a shotgun. Once you've completed your search in this area, return to the corridor outside and enter the door leading to the lobby of Talos 1. It's time for the elevator.

Hall "Talos-1"

Arboretum: Foyer

Important:
  • Audio Diary: Morgan: Tantrum
  • Pass: Office of Hendrik Devries

Sneak to the elevator when you reach the foyer of the arboretum. The elevator entrance is guarded by a large, unknown typhon. Scan it with a psychoscope to find out the characteristics. This is a technopath. This type of typhon can subjugate mechanical and electrical systems, hence the reason for the failure of the elevator. There are a couple of damaged operators patrolling the area near the technopath.

Elevator problems (continued)

Keeping your distance, throw an EM Charge and a Null Wave Jammer at the Technopath and the Infested Operators. The EM Charge temporarily disables infected Operators, allowing you to focus your attention on the Technopath. Use the K-Beam. Make sure your weapon is fully loaded before opening fire. Focus the unstable particle beam at the technopath until it explodes. Then eliminate the operators using the Stunner shocker. January reports that the elevator is working again, which means you can quickly travel to the Talos-1 lobby and life support bay. Before heading back to the Arboretum, find the body of Hendrik Devries nearby to activate a new side quest.

Arboretum

Security post

Upon returning to the arboretum, take one of the turrets you repaired earlier. Carry it to the entrance to the living section. Deploy the turret. A couple of phantoms hide behind a makeshift barricade. Punch through the plaster and try to lure the phantoms into your turret's range. Step aside and let the turret do all the hard work in this encounter. The second phantom can be hiding at the stairs leading to the residential section. Try to deal with him in the same way.

After the phantoms are finished, pay attention to the guard post. Two infected operators are inside. Move your turret so that it faces the post. The door can be hacked if you have the Hacker II ability. As soon as the passage opens, run back and let your turret make contact with the infected operators. Inside the guard post, use the terminal to download the arboretum map. This is also a good opportunity to find Julien Howard and complete the gardening tips side mission. Select Dr. Howard from the list to locate his body and create a waypoint. Before you leave the guard post, search it and collect supplies. One of the lockers contains several useful items, including an injector blueprint.

Armory

From the guard post, follow the path to the armory (warehouse AR01). Take the turret with you. In this area, you can encounter an ethereal phantom. Scan the enemy with your psychoscope and deploy the turret. While the turret is firing at the Aether Phantom, aim at the enemy with the GIPS Cannon to slow them down. The K-Beam is also very effective against all types of Typhons.

Data storage access

Take one of the turrets with you as you head towards the grav lift in the data vault. If you didn't meet the ethereal phantom at the AR01 warehouse, then he is most likely hiding somewhere on the way to the data warehouse and Alex's office. In any case, place the turret on the site next to the gravity lift. Go down to the data vault.

Zacharias West's body is on the floor in front of the data vault entrance. Search it, as well as the case lying nearby. Listen to the audio recording (Hacking the Data Warehouse) on the transcriptor. From it it becomes clear that access to the vault is tied to the voice of Daniella Shaw. She must say a passphrase to disable the lock. West suggests collecting samples of Shaw's voice. These parts of the recordings can then be put together using the software on your transcriber to synthesize her voice. January agrees with this method and suggests starting the search from Shaw's cabin, located in the living section. Don't forget to pick up the Living Section Pass from Zacharias West's body, as well as the hand-drawn map that relates to the upcoming "Treasure Hunt" side mission.

This article will cover all the steps that need to be taken to complete all additional missions in Prey (2017). The share of the simplest tasks was described in separate articles given to the search for the crew.

SIDE QUEST "THE DISAPPEARING CORPSE"

Where to get it: Neuromod department.

To start this quest, go to the offices after you see a mimic killing Gavrilovich (search Jovan Gavrilovich's corpse) in the Neuromods department. Behind the first table on the left there is a terminal - read the letter called "Urgent!". You will learn about some body, so an additional task will begin. We will immediately describe its passage, but note that in order to bypass the mission, you will have to visit other locations.

Go to the location "Hall Talos-1" and go to the emergency room (the key card is downstairs, on the counter in front of the corridor leading to the shuttle bay). Take the beacon bracelet from the table marked with a marker, and also read the letter "Wounded on the way." The task will be updated.

The next target is the psychotronics laboratory. When you are at the glass chamber with the body, which the Weaver will turn into a phantom, then go down on the gravity lift and in the far part you will see the morgue. Wait for the operator to fly inside, or break the glass and shoot the dart at the button near the door. Search the corpse of Dr. Sylvain Bellamy to get the key card to Bellamy's cabin. When you're in the living section, just look into the doctor's quarters to complete the quest. Inside you will find 3 neuromods.

SIDE QUEST "WHO ARE YOU, DECEMBER?"

You will activate this quest according to the plot. At the set point in the game, December will contact you and say that you left him a message - you need to leave Talos-1. This is one of the alternate endings, after which the normal loading from the last checkpoint occurs.

Step into the neuromod department and chat with "December". In the counterpart's briefing room of Morgan Yu's apartment (at the beginning of the game), there is a briefcase on the cabinet on the left. Search it to make sure the keycard is not there (if you didn't already). Walk back to the meeting point with "December" and you will see that "January" exterminated him (if you searched the suitcase earlier, this will happen immediately upon returning to the neuromod department). Search the remains of the operator "December" and from the note you will find out the code for the safe in the office of Alex Y.

When you find yourself at the location "Arboretum", then follow the same path that is described when taking the quest "Golden Gun". From here, look for a point where you can climb higher, to Alex Yu's office. Of course, you can hack the gravity lift, but you need level 4 of the skill.

At the top, move the box (the skill "Rise-II") and open the protective hatch to find a safe behind the wall. After entering the code, take Alex Yu's transcriber and Alex Yu's apartment key card.

Finding yourself in the living quarters, activating the elevator and going upstairs to the directors' apartment, go to Alex's apartment and find the key card needed for the quest under the globe on the bedside table.

Now return to the arboretum and go up to Alex Yu's office. There is a terminal here - if you hack it, the bridge will extend. The terminal asks "Hack-IV". Alexa will give you the code later anyway. Go into the capsule (you can fly to it without a bridge if you're smart) and start the evacuation. See one of the endings. Next to the capsule is Alex Y's beacon bracelet.

SIDE QUEST "Stolen NEUROMODS"

Where to get: A note from the interrogation room in the security office in the Talos-1 lobby.

There is a table with a scribble in the interrogation room of the security office. Read it to take the quest. To complete it, it is enough to rise to the teleconferencing center (you will get there according to the storyline) and take a minute along the bridge to the sales department. There are 4 Neuromods lying around under Yumi's office desk at once. Quest completed.

SIDE QUEST "HOLE"

When you find yourself outside the Talos-1, getting out of the hardware laboratory there, then fly to the body of Dr. Calvino. Repair the sparkly panel to the left of the door and then return to the Hardware Lab. Take the grav lift and go inside the Wave Lab. Quest completed!

There will be a terminal with information on the Blackbox project. This will start the Blackbox Project side quest.

SIDE QUEST "PROJECT BLACKBOX"

Where to get it: Study these at the Wave Physics Lab terminal at the Hardware Lab.

To complete the task and at the same time break through the last door of the wave physics laboratory, you need to find the body of Josh Dalton. You will do it on the SAGITTA location (read the article on the SAGITTA location).

SIDE QUEST "TRUTH-LOVER"

Where to get: at the location "Psychotronics Laboratory" find the corpse of Annalisa Gallegos with a transcriptor. Listen to the recording to start the mission.

This quest is activated after you listen to one of the recordings on Annalize Gallegos' transcription system in her office in the Psychotronics Lab. When you find yourself in the residential section, then follow the marker and pick up the Transcript "Surveillance Request: Annalize Gallegos" from the corpse of Maria Fowles.

Go to the terminal on the ground floor near the grav lift (concierge desk) and move the surveillance files. Further, when you find yourself in the cargo hold and go through the story to the room with the containers, do not look for the right one here. The container in which Quinten Purvis wanted to escape is in the next spacious room directly opposite the door.

The container with the body of Quinten Purvis.

After searching it, you will complete the quest.

SIDE QUEST "DISGUSTED EMPLOYEE"

Where to get: the next additional task is taken in the process of listening to the transcriptor Jia Kun-Ho, whose body you will find immediately after moving from SAGITTA to the arboretum.

You continue it in the repository of these. When you're near Daniella Shaw's terminal upstairs, go to the other terminal on the left and type in the number for Grant Lockwood's beacon bracelet - 1129 (or something like that, shown in the quest description). Activate his beacon, then on any terminal in the security office, select Grant Lockwood to track. Head outside Talos 1 and follow the marker until you find the body of Grant Lockwood.

Corpse of Grant Lockwood.

SIDE QUEST "DO NO HARM"

Where to get: after listening to the recording from the transcriptor of Devris (on his body by the main elevator, if you enter from the side of the arboretum).

To complete it, take the elevator down to the Talos-1 hall, go to the emergency room and use the key card to open the door of Devris's office. From the terminal, download the decryption key, open your inventory, go to the "Data" section and select the "Morgan: Tantrum" audio diary. Press Enter to listen to it again.

You will hear some kind of code combination - A, C, B, A, C. Go to the neighboring office of Matthias Splitting and run the test from his terminal. Go to the terminal at the table on the left and respond to the test questions in exactly the same order as it is written in the taller - ACBAC. A safe will appear from which you can get 3 Neuromods and Matthias Cleaver's Transcriptor "Session Recording: Morgan Yu".

Hidden safe in Matthias Cleaver's office.

SIDE QUEST "Smugglers on Talos"

Where to get it: After listening to Lilly Morris's transcriber in the Arboretum hallway leading to the main elevator.

The body of Lilly Morris.

You need to find 6 points where the smugglers have hidden resources. They are all inside safes hidden behind scarlet fire alarms. To open them, you need to knock on them three times. But there are a lot of six alarms on Talos-1. Therefore, you need to recognize those behind which contraband is really hidden. And to do this is simple - a red light is on above them. Here is the location of all cargoes:

1. On the wall exactly above the corpse of Lilly Morris in the arboretum, where the quest is taken.

Initial cache.

2. In the hall "Talos-1" on the first floor there is an exhibition hall - on the wall near one of the doorways.

Second cache.

3. In the Talos-1 hall, walk on the ground floor to the restrooms, but in front of them, turn into the corridor on the left. On the wall to the right, it grew.

4. In the hardware lab, go to the atrium with the gravity lift and go upstairs. There is a circular bridge and one of the walls has a large sculpture on a stone pedestal. There is an alarm lamp hanging on the wall.

5. In the living compartment, step into the fitness center and turn right down the corridor to notice a cache on the wall.

Fifth secret.

6. In the cargo hold, go up on the gravity lift and enter the room with Dr. Igve (if you saved him) and Alisa Musayeva sitting on the floor. Search on the wall to the left.

The last secret.

Quest completed!

SIDE QUEST "Koka's Prayer"

Where to get: when you find yourself in the Residential Section location, you will hear the cook's monologue. The quest will start soon.

Cock Will Mitchell.

You need to put the telepath in the cafeteria and neutralize or kill the infected people. After that, go to the indicated window and talk with the cook. He will give you a key card to Will Mitchell's cabin. Get to the cabin and open it. Find an award for the best cook on the pedestal and give it to the quest giver.

Enter the kitchen through the side door. The cook will ask you to repair the water supply. If you haven’t picked up the necessary part yet, then return to the Arboretum location and look for it in the greenhouse on one of the tables.

Greenhouse water pressure regulator.

Set in place. The cook will open the freezer. Enter and you will be locked into it. Find a way out by pushing the ice floes or melting them with flames (shoot the pipe from the side). In the refrigerator you will find two corpses behind the far right door and one corpse near the ice floe blocking the khaki hatch. You will also find a beacon. Get out of here to complete the quest.

SIDE QUEST "TREASURE HUNT"

Where to get it: read the letter in Daniella Shaw's terminal (in her cabin on the territory of the residential section). You need to find four parts of the map:

1. The first one will be found on the corpse of Zechariah West at the location "Arboretum" at the transition point to the storage of these.

Treasure map of Zacharias Vesta.

2. Emma Beatty's second treasure map can be found on her body in the corridor of the fitness center, in a place where flames come out of the pipes.

3. Elias Black's treasure map is in the recreation center, on a table on the second floor.

Elias Black Treasure Map.

4. Daniella Shaw's map can be found in the Data Vault location. Go up to the second floor and download the map from the terminal in the command middle.

Now you need to go to the places that are shown on any map and find four numbers.

– The map of Hordinbafl (Zacharia Vesta) shows a water treatment plant in the life support sector. Go to the far left corner and look for the number "3" on the wall. Part of the quest will automatically count when you are next to the number.

Number "3".

Location on the map.

“Rosalyn's map points to the cargo hold. In the cargo hold, go to the door leading to the life support department. Facing her, turn right and find the number "5" on the wall further than the container.

Number "5".

– The map of Mechetyk leads to the upper room with a utilizer in the residential section. Go to the front door to this location and go up the stairs to the right as you look at it. Turn into the room on the left and look at the number "6" exactly opposite the door.

Number "6".

– The last map will lead you to SAGITA. Walk to this location through the arboretum. It will be easier! Fly down the mine where the fuel storage is located. Go inside and jump over the destroyed bridge. Ahead will be the entrance to the shuttle bay. On the right in the corner, on the wall of the counterpart of the gravity lifts, the number "1" is depicted. Look at her to complete the quest.

Number "1".

When all the numbers are found and the tasks are marked as completed, then go back to the residential section. Go to Abigail Foy's cabin and enter the code "1365" in the terminal. You will receive a blueprint for the Adventurer's Arsenal as a reward. If you craft this at the fabricator, you'll get a suit chip that provides several benefits. More details in the screenshot. Quest completed!

Functions of the Adventurer's Arsenal Chip.

SIDE QUEST "Gift of the BELOVED"

Where to get it: Listen to the audio recording on the Lawrence Baxter transcriber in the residential section (recite the article on this location).

The lounger where the transcriptor for taking the quest is located.

Go to the location "Arboretum" and go to the fountain. A little further than him lies the body of a woman - it was for her that Baxter prepared a gift. The corpse lies under a tree with initials. Find a stone next to the tree that can be moved. Under the stone you will find the key card from the storage room A2. Enter the storeroom to complete the quest. After killing the phantom, you will be able to search the last corpse at the location of Lawrence Baxter.

This article will cover all the steps you need to take to complete all the optional missions in Prey (2017). Some of the simplest tasks have been described in separate articles dedicated to the search for the crew.

SIDE QUEST "THE DISAPPEARING CORPSE"

Where to get it: Neuromod department.

To start this quest, go to the offices after you see a mimic killing Gavrilovich (search the corpse of Jovan Gavrilovich) in the Neuromods department. Behind the first table on the left there is a terminal - read the letter called "Urgent!". You will learn about some body, so an additional task will begin. We will immediately describe its passage, but note that in order to complete the mission, you will have to visit other locations.

Go to the Talos-1 Hall location and go to the emergency room (the key card is downstairs, on the counter in front of the corridor leading to the shuttle bay). Take the beacon bracelet from the table marked with a marker, and also read the letter "Wounded on the way." The task will be updated.

The next goal is the psychotronics laboratory. When you are at the glass chamber with the corpse, which the Weaver will turn into a phantom, then go down the gravity lift and in the far part you will see the morgue.

IN a certain moment of the game, "December" will contact you and say that you left him a message - you need to leave Talos-1. This is one of the alternate endings, after which the normal loading from the last checkpoint occurs.

Go to the neuromod department and chat with "December". In the briefing room opposite Morgan Yu's apartment (at the beginning of the game), there is a briefcase on the cabinet on the left. Search it to make sure the keycard is not there (if you didn't already). Go back to the meeting point with "December" and you will see that "January" destroyed it (if you searched the suitcase earlier, this will happen immediately upon returning to the neuromod department). Search the remains of the operator "December" and from the note you will find out the code for the safe in the office of Alex Y.

When you find yourself at the location "Arboretum", then follow the same path that is described when taking the quest "Golden Gun". From here, find a point where you can climb higher, to Alex Yu's office. Of course, you can hack the gravity lift, but you need a skill level 4.

At the top, move the box (the skill "Lift-II") and open the protective hatch to find a safe behind the wall. After entering the code, take Alex Yu's transcriber and Alex Yu's apartment key card.

Once in the living quarters, activate the elevator and go upstairs to the directors' apartment, go to Alex's apartment and find the key card needed for the quest under the globe on the bedside table.

Now return to the arboretum and go up to Alex Yu's office. There is a terminal here - if you hack it, the bridge will extend. The terminal requires Hack-IV. Alexa will give you the code later anyway. Go into the capsule (you can fly to it without a bridge if you're smart) and start the evacuation. See one of the endings. Next to the capsule is Alex Y's beacon bracelet.

SIDE QUEST "STOLE NEUROMODS"

Where to get: A note from the interrogation room in the security office in the Talos-1 lobby.

There is a table with a note in the interrogation room of the security office. Read it to take the quest. To complete it, it is enough to go up to the teleconferencing center (you will get there along the storyline) and go along the bridge to the sales department. There are 4 Neuromods lying under Yumi's office desk at once. Quest completed.

SIDE QUEST "HOLE"

When you find yourself outside Talos-1, having got out of the hardware laboratory, then fly to the corpse of Dr. Calvino. Repair the sparkly panel to the left of the door and then return to the Hardware Lab. Take the gravity lift and go inside the Wave Lab. Quest completed!

There will be a terminal with information on the Blackbox project. This is how it starts additional quest"Project Blackbox".

SIDE QUEST "PROJECT BLACKBOX"

Where to get it: examine the data in the terminal of the wave physics laboratory at the Hardware Laboratory location.

To complete the task and at the same time break through the last door of the wave physics laboratory, you need to find the corpse of Josh Dalton.

When you get to the residential section, follow the marker and pick up the Transcript "Surveillance Request: Annalize Gallegos" from the corpse of Maria Fowles.

Go to the terminal on the ground floor near the grav lift (concierge desk) and transfer the surveillance files. Further, when you find yourself in the cargo hold and go through the story to the room with the containers, do not look for the right one here. The container in which Quinten Purvis wanted to escape is located in the next spacious room directly opposite the door.

Container with the corpse of Quinten Purvis.

After searching it, you will complete the quest.

SIDE QUEST "DISGUSTED EMPLOYEE"

Where to get: the next additional task is taken in the process of listening to the transcriptor Jia Kyung-Ho, whose corpse you will find immediately after moving from SAGITTA to the arboretum.

Continue it in the data warehouse. When you're near the Daniella Shaw terminal upstairs, go to the other terminal on the left and type in the number for Grant Lockwood's beacon bracelet - 1129 (or something like that, indicated in the description of the task). Activate his beacon, then on any terminal in the security office, select Grant Lockwood to track. Go outside of Talos 1 and fly along the marker until you find the corpse of Grant Lockwood.

Corpse of Grant Lockwood.

SIDE QUEST "DO NO HARM"

Where to get: after listening to the recording from the transcriptor of Devris (on his corpse by the main elevator, if you enter from the side of the arboretum).

To complete it, take the elevator down to the Talos-1 hall, go to the emergency room and use the key card to open the door of Devris's office. From the terminal, download the decryption key, open inventory, go to the "Data" section and select the "Morgan: Tantrum" audio diary. Press Enter to listen to it again.

You will hear some code combination - A, C, B, A, C. Go to the neighboring office of Matthias Kohl and run the test from his terminal. Go to the terminal at the table on the left and answer the test questions in exactly the same order as written above - ACBAC. A safe will appear, from which you can get 3 neuromods and a transcriptor of Matthias Kohl "Audio recording of the session: Morgan Yu".

Hidden safe in Matthias Kohl's office.

SIDE QUEST "Smugglers on Talos"

Where to get it: After listening to Lilly Morris's transcriber in the Arboretum hallway leading to the main elevator.

The body of Lilly Morris.

You need to find 6 points where the smugglers have hidden resources. They are all inside safes hidden behind red fire alarms. To open them, you need to knock on them three times. But there are more than six alarms on Talos-1. Therefore, you need to recognize those behind which contraband is really hidden. And to do this is simple - a red light is on above them. Here is the location of all cargoes:

1. On the wall right above the corpse of Lilly Morris in the arboretum, where the quest is taken.

First cache.

2. In the hall "Talos-1" on the first floor there is an exhibition hall - on the wall near one of the doorways.

Second cache.

3. In the Talos-1 hall, go on the first floor to the restrooms, but in front of them, turn into the corridor on the left. On the wall to the right, high up.

4. In the hardware lab, go to the atrium with the gravity lift and go upstairs. There is a circular bridge and a large statue on a stone pedestal stands near one of the walls. There is an alarm lamp hanging on the wall.

5. In the living compartment, go to the fitness center and turn right down the corridor to find a cache on the wall.

Fifth secret.

6. In the cargo hold, take the gravity lift upstairs and enter the room with Dr. Igve (if you saved him) and Alisa Musayeva sitting on the floor. Look on the wall to the left.

The last secret.

Quest completed!

SIDE QUEST "COOK'S REQUEST"

Where to get it: when you find yourself in the Residential Section location, you will hear the chef's monologue. The quest will start soon.

Cock Will Mitchell.

You need to kill the telepath in the cafeteria and incapacitate or kill the infected people. After that, go to the indicated window and talk with the cook. He will give you a key card to Will Mitchell's cabin. Go to the cabin and open it. Find the award for the best chef on the cabinet and give it to the quest giver.

Enter the kitchen through the side door. The cook will ask you to repair the water supply. If you have not yet picked up the desired part, then return to the Arboretum location and find it in the greenhouse on one of the tables.

Greenhouse water pressure regulator.

Set in place. The cook will open the freezer. Enter and you will be locked into it. Find a way out by pushing the ice floes or melting them with fire (shoot the pipe from the side). In the refrigerator you will find two corpses behind the far right door and one corpse near the ice floe blocking the protective hatch. You will also find a beacon. Get out of here to complete the quest.

SIDE QUEST "TREASURE HUNT"

Where to get: read the letter in Daniella Shaw's terminal (in her cabin on the territory of the residential section). You need to find four parts of the map:

1. The first one will be found on the corpse of Zechariah West at the location "Arboretum" at the transition point in the data warehouse.

Treasure map of Zacharias Vesta.

2. Emma Beatty's second treasure map can be found on her body in the corridor of the fitness center, in a place where fire is coming out of the pipes.

3. Elias Black's treasure map is in the recreation center, on a table on the second floor.

Elias Black Treasure Map.

4. Daniella Shaw's map can be found in the Data Vault location. Climb to the second floor and download the map from the terminal in the command center.

Now you need to go to the places that are shown on each card and find four numbers.

– Map of Hordinbafl (Zacharia West) shows a water treatment plant in the life support sector. Go to the far left corner and find the number "3" on the wall. Part of the quest will automatically count when you are next to the number.

Number "3".

Location on the map.

“Rosalyn's map points to the cargo hold. In the cargo hold, go to the door leading to the life support department. Facing her, turn right and find the number "5" on the wall further than the container.

Number "5".

– Mechetyk's map leads to a room with a recycler in the living section. Go to the front door to this location and go up the stairs to the right as you look at it. Turn into the room on the left and look at the number "6" directly opposite the door.

Number "6".

– The last map will lead you to SAGITA. Go to this location through the arboretum. It will be easier! Fly down the mines where the fuel storage is located. Go inside and jump over the destroyed bridge. Ahead will be the entrance to the shuttle bay. On the right in the corner, on the wall opposite the gravity lifts, the number "1" is depicted.

SIDE QUEST "GIFT TO THE BELOVED"

Where to get it: listen to the audio recording on the Lawrence Baxter transcriber in the residential section (read the article on this location).

The lounger where the transcriptor for taking the quest is located.

Go to the location "Arboretum" and go to the fountain. A little further than him lies the corpse of a woman - it was for her that Baxter prepared a gift. The corpse lies under a tree with initials. Find a stone next to the tree that can be moved. Under the stone you will find the key card from the storage room A2. Enter the storeroom to complete the quest. After killing the phantom, you can search the last corpse at the location of Lawrence Baxter.
