Top games of feces duty. The best games like Call of Duty

Users are looking for games similar to Call of Duty, as this series is characterized by high dynamics and almost always an interesting plot. Some parts from the line are deservedly considered cult, because they gave unforgettable emotions. That is why all fans of these games should know similar projects in order to try to go through them on their own.

Main competitor

For more than five years, the Battlefield series has stood out as the main competitor among Call of Duty-like games. Starting with part of Bad Company 2, the developers began to create interesting campaigns that are designed for joint or single passage. The same trend was repeated in the third and fourth parts, although they are such only in name, and not in number. The latest draft of the series about the First World War showed a really high-quality plot and the realism of a military shooter. At the same time, the projects of the DICE studio have always been aimed at multiplayer battles. There are maps for 64 and 32 players with full destructibility and a huge arsenal of weapons.

Trying to compete

The Medal of Honor series partially falls into the category of Call of Duty-like games. It is much smaller in the number of projects, but there is some similarity. The first parts were made in the spirit of realism and tell about the Second World War. After the release of the successful part of Airborn in 2007, nothing was heard about shooters from this line for three years.

In 2010, there was an attempt to restart the franchise. The emphasis in this project was on entertainment and story, as in all parts of Call of Duty at that moment. The story was about a special forces unit in Afghanistan and confronting terrorist forces. The project came out too raw and received enough negative reviews. Despite this, the developers are releasing a sequel to the restart of Warfighter. In it, the bet was made on the most accurate display of past military operations and the social component. These two games may not appeal to all fans of the shooter genre, but they are definitely worth checking out as they are in the AAA class of work and can offer some interesting gameplay elements.

Tactics and dynamism

Similar games on Call of Duty do not completely copy the style of this series, because no one in the community would approve of this. Some projects are similar in elements and are able to fill the time waiting for the next part of your favorite line. This list includes all the Rainbow Six games that are already considered classics in terms of tactical combat. Shooters demonstrate the importance of teamwork, and the main character must also perform the function of a commander. He must give orders to the members of the squad and plan skirmishes with enemies. It is not necessary to do this, you can break through the crowds of enemies on your own. It is because of this feature that the series is included in the list of games similar to Call of Duty.

Projects Vegas in two parts and the new part of Siege received high marks from critics and the gaming community. They are the best choice in replacing Call of Honor with a tactical component. Well-developed locations, a high level of artificial intelligence and a large selection of weapons - all this will appeal to fans of the genre.

Console Exclusive

Not all similar Call of Duty games were released for personal computers. The Halo series throughout its existence remained exclusive to the Xbox console, with the exception of the first part, which was nevertheless published on the PC. This franchise is the most popular game on this console, the third part has broken many records in terms of sales. All this is largely due to an interesting plot and high-quality gameplay. The user takes on the role of a super soldier who fights on the side of the people in the war against the Covenant. In the course of passing through any of the parts, the player will be offered interesting missions, a variety of weapons, and trips by transport. All this is seasoned with colorful graphics of a unique fictional world.

The series is able to give no less emotions than the "Call of Honor", each owner of the Xbox must see for himself. The Halo line falls into the category of games similar to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare due to similar dynamics and exciting adventures.

Horror and shooter rolled into one

If you take similar PC games to Call of Duty, then you should definitely mention F.E.A.R. In the projects of this series, the developers have focused on the atmosphere of fear and tension, but this does not diminish the brilliance of the shootings. These are no longer military shooters, like most of the aforementioned masterpieces. Here, events revolve around a girl named Alma, who has anomalous abilities and poses a threat to all mankind.

The user is part of an elite squad, where fighters have enhanced reflexes and due to this they can slow down time around them. The main goal is to find out all the circumstances of the case with Alma and capture the target. The first and second parts were focused on horror, but the third is more like a shooter. Here it is possible to go through the story together and even choose a character for yourself. All three projects have received very positive feedback from game publishers and deserve attention.

In fact, Resistance 3 did not introduce Hollywood scope or a new round in the genre, but no one really cared about this. 3rd place - BATTLEFIELD: BAD COMPANY

A small company DICE is constantly working on finalizing the Battlefield series, and specialists are making a product very similar to Call of Duty. The second part of the multi-platform game tells about the US command. At first, you will have to fight on behalf of the marines, and the game amazes gamers with its realism. Cut scenes look interesting and it is interesting to watch colleagues. A variety of missions is a proprietary feature of the developers. In addition to open clashes, you have to participate in sabotage operations and reconnaissance. In preparation for the task, weapons are carefully selected. Various options are available, each mission requires an individual kit. As for the locations, they look massive and it is always difficult to predict where the enemy is. In the main missions, the goal is to suppress fire and capture points. Enemies use a variety of weapons:

1. Machine guns.
2. Anti-tank guns.
3. Flamethrowers.
4. Grenades.

Being in a trench, one does not have to be bored. To effectively hit the target, it is important to act covertly. Being on armored vehicles, it is much more difficult to fight back. Missions on armored personnel carriers look cheerful and will not leave anyone indifferent.
Main advantages:

1. Different technique.
2. Differences in weapons.
3. Large-scale locations.
4. Bright graphics.

2nd place - GHOST RECON WILDLANDS

Ubisoft Paris is always trying to surprise gamers and has managed to get the community interested in this multi-platform game. The plot is tied to the special squad "Ghosts". You will have to fight drug dealers and the gameplay does not look so simple. Already at the beginning of the game, it is made clear that you need to think tactically. Mercenaries move quickly, so it is important to prepare carefully. You will have to spend some time choosing weapons:

1. Assault rifles.
2. Automatic machines with a silencer.
3. Pistol with extended magazines.
4. Assault rifles with a stock and a grenade launcher.

New technologies are also used, it is allowed to launch drones in battle. The gameplay looks exciting, because you don't always have to just run. A variety of vehicles are provided to move around the area. In the first tasks, you can move around in a regular jeep, but you can change the transport. Basically, the tasks are related to reconnaissance of the area or the seizure of territory. Also paid attention to the stealth mode. To free the comrades-in-arms, you will have to act very quietly. Helicopter flights are another feature. In the air, it is allowed to use various weapons and demolish entire blocks from the map. The interface looks familiar for a third-person shooter, it is better to navigate the map, track current targets. Some players will definitely appreciate the game for the dynamism of the firefight, everything looks realistic and a large number of additional tasks are available.
Main advantages:

1. Combat vehicles.
2. Helicopter flights.
3. Variety of weapons and accessories.
4. Pumping heroes.
5. Huge world.

1st place - BATTLEFIELD 4

The TOP leader is the DICE project, which loudly declared itself back in 2013. The world has never seen such realistic battles. According to the plot, the action takes place in 2020 and you have to fight for Daniel Reker. This is a fighter of an elite unit who is able to carry out the most difficult assignments of his superiors. After a short digression, the main character is immediately thrown into battle, and here you can evaluate the quality of the graphics of the locations. Everything is done at the highest level, and the picture looks juicy. You have to act in a team and to support the allies, you need to give orders correctly. Opponents also act in a coordinated manner, and it will not work to destroy them on a swoop. Much attention is paid to weapons, and weapons can be upgraded endlessly. It is allowed to change the grenade launcher, improve sights. Additionally, different modes are provided, and developers are constantly releasing add-ons. As for the plot, you will have to communicate with different characters, mostly colleagues who went through hot spots with the main character. Given all of the above, Battlefield 4 rightfully deserved the first place.

The recently released Call of Duty: WW2 returned the popular series to its roots - in the days of . The game received mixed reviews from critics - generally rather lukewarm, but not enthusiastic. Nevertheless, gamers are interested in her: the game is sold out like hot cakes.

Unfortunately, both it and the recent Wolfenstein 2 are not available to mobile gamers. What FPS available in the App Store and Google Play can be offered as a replacement? At least five alternatives at your service:

Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombies

The best mobile alternative to the game will, of course, be its mobile version - Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombies. The theme of the Second World War is sustained in it, but zombies are added to the well-known surroundings for a greater impression. Yes, this title was made a long time ago, but it still looks good and offers gamers an exciting gameplay, a lot of shooting and opponents that can put up decent resistance.

Call of Duty World At War: Zombies

If you want to discover a little more elements of the WWII environment in the game, but at the same time not lose the spirit of a zombie shooter, then the spin-off Call of Duty World At War: Zombies will suit you. Its gameplay is based on enemies coming in waves, and its graphic design better reflects the details of that time period. The Cold War game is sustained in a similar style, but it is gradually being replaced by more modern projects.

Brothers in Arms 3

Here the name speaks for itself: the plot of Frontline Commando: D-Day revolves around the day the Allied forces landed on the coast of Normandy. This day was one of the turning points in the history of World War II.

Now gamers will be able to take part in it, plunging into this high-speed shooter, using covers and a wide range of weapons.

Historical details here coexist with entertaining spectacular elements - but this is the essence of mobile gaming.

Guns of Boom

All previous games are reminiscent of the Call of Duty brand, either with a World War II theme or the presence of a single-player campaign. Guns of Boom is fundamentally different from them - it does not have one or the other.

What are its advantages? Perhaps, at the moment, this game is one of the best multiplayer online shooters on mobile platforms. And, since most gamers love the Call of Duty series precisely for the multiplayer mode, it is not surprising that we offer Guns of Boom as a mobile alternative, which is based on real-time team high-speed gunfights.

Military shooter series call of duty became phenomenally popular immediately from the moment the first part appeared in 2003 and confidently holds the won positions up to the present moment.

And even if you go beyond the boundaries of the genre and start talking about computer games in general, CoD will still remain at the forefront of the “best of the best” list. And the main proof of this is the place in the top three-five best-selling games in Europe and North America, where each new part (and every year the Call of Duty line manages to acquire at least one new game) has been steadily getting for several years in a row.

At the same time, there is a part of the players, and a rather big one, who does not take the series seriously. Moreover, calling it monotonous and uninteresting, created on the principle of a conveyor, where it was sent by a money-hungry publisher after about the third or fourth part (here the opinions of skeptical players differ).

Of course, one can argue with such an assessment for a long time and fiercely, referring at least to the fact that at the moment, within Call of Duty, there are several completely different story-time arcs dedicated to various military conflicts, with their own characters and gameplay features, as well as to the fact that these games are made by several separate developers (Infinity Ward, Sledgehammer Games and others), and therefore, by definition, they cannot be "one to one". But we will not do this.

We will not judge at all on the side of which part of the gaming community the truth has warmed up, but we will only present to your attention another selection of games similar to Call of Duty. We hope you find it useful.

11.War face

One of the most popular online shooters in the CIS, distributed according to the free-to-play model. The action of Warface takes the player to the near future, where there is a fierce struggle for influence between several paramilitary organizations.

By choosing one of two sides, the player can choose one of four available specializations for their character: sniper, attack aircraft, medic, and engineer. In addition, Warface offers a large selection of items for customization - more than 130 pieces of equipment divided into four categories: helmet, gloves, boots and body armor. The choice of weapons is also very wide - three hundred units, which are prototypes of real firearms and edged weapons. For any of them, modifications are available in the form of a silencer, bipod, flame arrester, various types of sights, and so on.

As for the gameplay, Warface has both PvP modes and cooperative missions for teams of up to 5 people.

10. Delta Force Series

Traditionally, we will start the list with an old-timer, and this time we have in mind not one single game like Call of Duty, but a whole series called Delta Force at once. The first part of it was released in 1998, and the last one at the moment, Delta Force: Xtreme 2, was released in 2009. Therefore, be mentally prepared for a very old graphics.

We mentioned this series solely for the sake of those players whose computers are unable to pull overly demanding shooters of recent years. In terms of gameplay, the game is also not very impressive - its game mechanics are too far behind modern trends. But what you definitely can’t refuse her is the similarity with CoD. Especially with the parts devoted to the conduct of modern warfare.

9. Soldier of Fortune: Payback

The third part of the once infamous Soldiers of Fortune line, which, unlike its predecessors, was not able to achieve at least some serious success and recognition. However, as a Call of Duty-type game, the Payback shooter is very suitable.

Absolutely linear, formulaic, but in some places still interesting FPS, the plot of which will take players through 14 missions filled with violence, accompanied by shooting off limbs, crushing heads and other lewdness. As you can see, the trademark bloodlust of the Soldier of Fortune series has not gone away.

In addition, the game retained the ability to take weapons in both hands. There is also multiplayer.

8. Medal of Honor Series

7. Homefront Series

A series of fantastic shooters, consisting of two games, telling about the confrontation between American guerrillas and the army of the Republic of Korea that captured the United States.

Main features of Homefront:

  1. Cool modern graphics and physics.
  2. Fascinating, unpredictable plot (especially the first part).
  3. The presence of various high-tech gadgets that play an important role in the gameplay.
  4. The presence of multiplayer.

6. Brothers in Arms Series

Tactical shooters dedicated to World War II. The main feature of Brothers in Arms is that the player can give direct orders to his comrades. The game also has a tactical pause mode. Both of these features bring an element of tactical strategy to the series.

Brothers in Arms can also be praised for its hardcore gameplay, high level of realism and historical accuracy (archival materials and photographs were used to create three parts of the PC shooter).

5. Red Orchestra Series

Another series of tactical shooters dedicated to the events of World War II. Currently includes two games: Red Orchestra: Ostfront 41-45 and Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad.

A feature of the series is that you can play here for both sides of the conflict. In addition, the passage of Red Orchestra is focused on the game through the network, but there is also the opportunity to play alone against the AI.

RO has several different classes of fighters and a large selection of tracked and stationary military vehicles.

4 Operation Flashpoint: Red River

3. Series Battlefield: Bad Company

Perhaps the Bad Company series can be called the most memorable, ambiguous, defiant, sarcastic and the devil knows what game similar to Call of Duty.

It has a lot of amenities (high-quality graphics, realistic combat mechanics, a large number of weapons, a constant change of scene, and so on), but the main ones, perhaps, are its atmosphere, sparkling, purely soldierly humor and a superbly conveyed spirit of army brotherhood. Yes, and, of course, the main characters are a detachment of "penalties", consisting of marauders, deserters and war criminals who have nothing to lose.

2. Ghost Recon Wildlands

One of the novelties of this year, the tactical shooter Ghost Recon Wildlands definitely deserves a place in the ranking of the best games like Call of Duty. Judge for yourself:

  1. A huge, colorful and completely open world for free movement.
  2. The presence of a cooperative regime.
  3. Large selection of weapons and vehicles.
  4. A good plot that tells about the struggle of an elite military detachment with a large drug cartel.
  5. Lots of side quests.
