Shadow of the colossus walkthrough in Russian. Hyde

As it turned out, fist fights for money are also held in Toussaint. It's pretty easy to run into such entertainment in Beauclair, but the rules in the southern provinces are much more sophisticated, and the fights are more interesting than the stupid scuffle in the North ...

We leave for the south of Bockler, to the Nilfgaard embassy.

Find a bookmaker near the arena. He will offer you to fight with three champions of Bokler, for the right to go to a duel with a master of fisticuffs.

your first opponent will be a fair-haired guy, sharp on the tongue named Mop, but if you carefully delve into the dialogues and play along with him, then you can defeat him without spilling a single drop of blood and sweat. It is enough to correctly (in rhyme) choose the branches of dialogues, as a result, the Mop recognizes you as a strong word and surrenders. Might as well be the old fashioned way. But this is Toussaint, I personally did not expect such an outcome.

The second opponent of Geralt will be Colossus, who at first does not want to fight, referring to the fact that he is very fast, and Geralt is an old fart. However, he will offer an interesting battle scheme: Geralt must block 3 of his attacks, but not strike a single blow to Kollos. In this case, the block can only be placed when Kollos swung. Those. it's a banal counter-attack. I caught the moment when Kollos swings and at this moment we press the right mouse button. After three successful counter-attacks, we win:
- for winning on Kollos' terms, we will get 2 more bets on top of the main fee, as a result, I blew 400 + 100 kroons from this guy.

The third opponent is Silent Pool, a knight who took a vow of silence, and also wears a mask. His vow will be broken when someone defeats him in a fistfight. In fact - nothing complicated, counter-attack, as soon as the fighter moves away from the blows - we hammer him as much as possible.

After the victory, it turns out that Silent Pool was Briggit's girlfriend (an obvious reference to the Games of Thrones).
After defeating 3 fighters, Geralt will be honored to challenge Bokler, the master of fist fights.

Technically, a new quest called Fisticuffs Champion

We leave for the docks, in search of a master.

After talking with the bookmaker, it turns out that the master is a "drunk master", and without a mug, but better than a bucket of water, he cannot fight due to manners and upbringing. We agree to a drink and place a bet.

The fight will be drunk, the enemy is quite serious. But the recipe for victory is simple - catch the attack, counter-attack at the right moment and deal a maximum of 2 hits, then jump with alt + S. And so on until the victory!

Not so long ago, the site published a review of a wonderful atmospheric game by Japanese developers - Shadow Of The Colossus. Today I want to tell young recruits how to kill all the colossi in case (and such a case will certainly happen) unforeseen difficulties arise.

I think my report will also be of interest to experienced veterans who have long sheathed their swords and have forgotten the highlights of the game.

So, to destroy any colossus, it is necessary to find a weak spot on its body in the form of a luminous hieroglyph (glyph) and pierce it with a sword from two to eight times. At first glance, everything is simple. Difficulties come with finding vulnerabilities, which begin with the fact that you need to climb the colossus. In the vast majority of cases, this operation causes certain difficulties.

So, let's start with the first one until we've killed all sixteen.

Valus - The Minotaur

The first colossus is the easiest, and, in principle, training. It makes no sense to tell how to find him (and all other giants) - just raise the sword in the sun, and the reflected beam will show you the direction.

Attracting the attention of a hulk is quite simple - shoot a couple of arrows into it and jump on the fur on the leg. Stick the sword into the glyph, the colossus will fall on one knee - crawl on the head and finish off the thug.

Quadratus-Taurus Major

Ferocious buffalo. It is better to fight him on horseback, armed with a bow. You can't jump from a pounce on a colossus. Wait for him to start raising his legs. Luminous marks on the feet are vulnerable spots. Hit them with a bow and the giant will fall to one knee. Now climb your leg onto your back.

There are two vulnerable glyphs - on the head and in the tail.

Gaius-Earth Knight

Hefty fellow with a stone sword. When fighting him, difficulties arise even on the way - to get into the arena, you need to make two balancing act jumps from the bridge. If you miss, the character falls into the lake and everything starts all over again.

When you get to the arena, piss off the colossus with a couple of well-aimed hits from the bow. He will start to strike with the sword from top to bottom. Stand on the stone dome in the middle so that the colossus hits it with a weapon. The vibration from his hand will drop a piece of armor, opening your way to your head.

Now repeat the same operation while standing on the ground. The sword will stick into the ground. Jump on the weapon, then on the hand, etc. One glyph on the head, the second on the stomach.

Phaedra - Equus Prime

Quite a complex colossus. After the battle begins, lure the giant to a clearing with four caves. When the attack starts, dive underground and run to the opposite exit. The colossus should crouch as I explore the cave entrance.

Now you need to jump on his tail. The difficulty is that this can only be done from a horse, and only at full gallop. If you miss, the colossus will rise and everything will start over.

When you are on the tail, climb onto your back. Now nothing prevents you from killing the giant.

Avion-Delta Phoenix

The fifth colossus is a giant bird. At first, the gamer is confused - even getting close, not to mention killing, seems unrealistic to this creature.

Do not fuss, and slowly swim across the lake to the island closest to the bird. Shoot her a couple of times with a bow and wait. The monster will take to the air and dive in, trying to knock you down. Do not get lost, and jump on the feathered wing, and then destroy the glyphs.

Barba

Very light colossus. In the cave where the massacre takes place, move to the opposite wall, climbing over obstacles. Hiding under the stove, wait. The giant will duck down to find you. At this point, jump on his beard and look for the glyphs. The scheme is standard - one on the head, the other on the body.

Bydrus

Perhaps the most terrible colossus. The sea dragon is a giant eel with three electrical spines.

To attract the attention of this monster, jump from a tall tower into the lake and start splashing right above it. The eel will float up, allowing you to grab onto its back. Three glyphs are located in front of the ridges. As you destroy them, you will be able to move on, and the eel will lose its strength.

The fourth glyph is on the head. He will help you put an end to this battle.

Kuromori-Wall Shadow

An easy-to-kill colossus, which, nevertheless, is capable of inflicting very strong damage by exhaling a fiery-poisonous cloud. It is a huge lizard crawling in a kind of amphitheater.

Go down to the second level of the structure and wait for the colossus to be on the side wall. Shoot from the bow at the glowing paws. You need to hit two, after which he will fly down and fall on his back. Glyph on the belly. Jump down to the ground and kill the stone reptile. It will take two or three passes.

Basaran-Storm Echo

Very reminiscent of the second colossus. Lure the giant to the geyser. As soon as the fountain of water lifts the carcass, shoot at the glowing soles of the monster.

As soon as the colossus falls on its back, climb on it and destroy the glyphs.

Dirge-Sand Tiger

Another extremely epic colossus is an underground worm. The battle takes place in a huge sandy cave. To win, you need the help of a horse. At full gallop, run away from the colossus. As soon as you see the sparkling eye of the creature - shoot it with a bow right from the saddle.

After being hit, the worm will lose its orientation in space and crash into the roof of the cave. Climb onto his body and look for the glyph.

Celosia

Small stone bull. It looks ferocious, but is killed easily. At the beginning of the massacre, climb onto the stone torch support. As soon as the colossus rams the support, a burning piece of wood will fall to the ground. Grab it and drive the bull to the cliff. After falling from a height, armor will fly off from him, and the monster will be vulnerable. Jump on your back and destroy the glyph.

Pelagia - Great Basilisk

The battle takes place on a lake with three white pedestals in the center. Climbing the head of the colossus is not difficult, but the glyph is not there. But there are three luminous processes. When hitting them, no damage is inflicted, but the trajectory of the monster's movement changes. Drive him to the first pedestal and jump onto the platform.

The colossus will pull its feet out of the water and rest against the platform. Jump on his chest - and here is the glyph. After a few hits, the giant will destroy the pedestal and sink into the water, but there are two more platforms on the lake, so go ahead!

Phalanx - Trail Drifter

A flying bone dragon, from which its counterpart from Castlevania Lord of Shadows was cleanly licked.

The dragon has transparent air sacs, when destroyed by arrows, the giant tends to lose altitude and rake sand with his wing. On this wing and climb onto the back of the colossus. You need to destroy the three glyphs hidden under the bone scales.

Cenobia - Destruction Luster

Another stone bull, much more ferocious than Celosia. At the moment of the fight, jump onto the lying column, and from it to the standing one. The bull will start knocking down the posts, thus giving you the opportunity to move on. Climbing from pillar to pillar, you will reach a cracked slab on the second tier. As soon as the bull knocks down the support, the plates will collapse on it and break the armor. Jump on his back and destroy the glyph.

Argus - The Sentinel

A huge colossus in an abandoned city. To climb the colossus, you need to reach the bridge at the very top. To do this, stand on a slab near the right or left wall and wait for the colossus to put its foot on it. The slab will rise, giving you the opportunity to jump to the top level of the structure.

When you reach the bridge, beware - the colossus will destroy it. From the edge you can jump on his head. Two glyphs on the arms, and a third in the right palm.

Malus - Grand Gigas

Unrealistically powerful colossus. Incinerates with two hits. The tactics are simple - nerves of steel and many attempts. A network of underground passages and ledges leads to the colossus. When you find yourself on the body - move to the head, periodically hitting vulnerable spots.

On the back, then on the left arm, then on the right and, finally, to the head, on which the main glyph is located.

End

Fuhhhh ... This is hard to write, not to mention the passage itself. So keep it up!

First of all, she is fixated on killing colossi, which are huge titans. Each of them is located at a certain point on the map and has weaknesses that are quite difficult to find on the first playthrough. In this guide, we will tell you where to find each colossus in the game and how to kill it.

To begin with, I would like to note that you can find the colossus with the help of the sword of the protagonist. It is enough just to go into the light and draw a sword, after which it will indicate the location of the enemy. As soon as you defeat the enemy, you will again find yourself at the starting point, from where you need to hunt down the next colossus.

Colossus #1 (Valus)

The first colossus will be available immediately after the intro video. He is a training boss, and therefore no one should have any difficulties when fighting him. The colossus looks like a huge minotaur, but it is a rather weak enemy. After defeating the enemy, you will receive the achievement "Wanderer's Valley".

To find the first colossus, go south from the temple where you start the game. Follow the platforms and then climb up the mountain. You should get into an open field where Valus will pass you by.

Climb up Valus's leg over his fur to his back. Each colossus has at least two zones that need to be attacked. On the back is one of these zones. Approach her, and then, crouching, deliver a strong blow. After several attacks, run to the head of the colossus and finish off the enemy.

Colossus #2 (Taurus Magnus)

Now exit the temple and run north. Follow the long bridge, and then get over it. Follow down the canyon until you reach a dilapidated wall. The second colossus will destroy the wall, after which the battle will begin.

Despite the fact that the second colossus also looks quite intimidating, it is very weak. Shoot an arrow at the enemy's leg. The colossus will fall to the ground. You need to quickly run to the front of the enemy and climb his fur to the very top.

Climbing on the enemy's head, deliver several blows to a vulnerable point. Restore energy and then run to the back of the colossus. There is a second weak zone of the enemy. After defeating the enemy, you will receive the achievement "The Hulk".

Colossus #3 (Terrestris Veritas)

The third boss is probably one of the biggest in the game. However, do not be afraid of its large size. Compared to other enemies, he is not very strong.

As in the case of finding the second colossus, follow the bridge to the north, which is located behind the initial temple. You must reach the desert area. After making your way through it, find a passage between the mountains. Then run straight, then turn to the side where the cave is located. Swim across the lake and reach the large oval platform where the third boss will be.

To defeat the boss, wait for the moment when he will inflict a powerful attack on the ground. Dodge at this point and then quickly run up to him to climb onto his body. Here you will have to jump over the body parts of the colossus to get to the head of the enemy. Land a few hits in the weak zone, and then take a break and recuperate. Climb down the enemy's back to the next vulnerable area. Beat the boss! After defeating the enemy, you will receive the "Wake the Knight" achievement.

Colossus #4 (Equis Bellator Apex)

The fourth colossus is one of the really interesting bosses in the whole game. To defeat him you have to use your ingenuity and the environment.

To find the boss, head southeast of the temple. Go through the mountain pass until you reach the valley. That's where the fourth colossus hides.

When fighting the boss, try to lure him to an underground area. Use arrows to get the attention of the boss. Your task is to quietly go around the boss through the trenches, and then climb onto his back. There, inflict several blows into the weak zones of the enemy. After defeating the enemy, you will receive the "Tombstone Land" achievement.

Colossus #5 (Avis Prada)

The fifth colossus is the first flying boss in the game to be fought in the air. When searching for the boss, follow almost the same path as the previous boss. Instead of turning into the dark area, run northeast of it and follow the path straight ahead.

Jump into the lake, then swim to the platform and climb the tall pillar. Wait for the colossus to come at you.

When fighting an enemy, stand on one of the platforms located in the lake. Shoot the colossus with a bow, then wait for it to fly in your direction. The moment the boss gets too close, jump up and grab onto his wing. Get to the back of the colossus and strike in the vulnerable area. Then attack the remaining weak zones.

After defeating the enemy, you will receive the achievement "Riding the Wind".

Colossus #6 (Belua Maximus)

The fifth colossus is a huge troll. The boss is located in the southwest of the main map. Make your way through the forest until you reach a structure near the mountains. Get inside. Go through the platforms until you reach the tower. Go outside and you will meet with the fifth colossus.

Don't get down on the ground. Shoot arrows at the boss from a safe place to get his attention. Jump on the enemy's beard and then climb on top of his head. There is the first vulnerable zone of the enemy. After a few hits, go down the back to the boss's second weak point and finish him off.

After defeating the enemy, you will receive the "Giant's Tomb" achievement.

Colossus #7 (Draco Marinus)

The meeting with the seventh boss is truly one of the most memorable in the game, since the battle will take place on the water and under water.

After leaving the temple, follow the northwest direction. Cross the bridge to the north where you went to the second and third colossi. Walk parallel to the huge bridge until you find a mountain pass. Now find a lake through which you will swim a certain distance.

When the boss attacks you, be in the water and try to have time to catch on the enemy's fur when he gets out. Carefully try to get to the vulnerable points of the enemy, then kill the colossus.

After defeating the enemy, you will receive the Storm achievement.

Colossus #8 (Kumorori)

Follow the southeast of the main map to the passage in the mountains. There is a small dark passage in the mountains that you need to enter. Follow forward, jumping on the platforms, until you enter a huge tower. Go outside a little and the boss will be in front of you.

Try to shoot at the enemy with a bow when he climbs the walls. With an accurate hit, the boss will fall. When this happens, quickly jump down and while the colossus is lying, inflict several blows on its weak spot. Then repeat the action several times until you kill the enemy.

After defeating the enemy, you will receive the "Colosseum Destroyer" achievement.

Colossus #9 (Nimbus Recanto)

Run to the bridge to the west of the temple. Move to the northeast of the main map. If you are moving correctly, the area will start to get a little darker. Ultimately, you must get to the geysers. Enter the cave to fight the boss.

When fighting the enemy, it is better to use your horse so that the colossus does not hit you with a laser beam. Shooting at the enemy with a bow, try to lure him to the geysers. If you time it right, the water from the geyser will knock the colossus down and you can safely climb on it to kill.

Deal decisive blows to the abdomen of the colossus, after which he will be defeated. After defeating the enemy, you will receive the "Cave Dweller" achievement.

Colossus #10 (Harena Tigris)

Again, head west from the temple as you did to find the eighth colossus. However, instead of heading towards the geysers again, turn southwest. Find an abyss in the mountains. This is the lair of the beast that you need to defeat.

Stay on your horse while fighting the boss. Try to run away from him until he sticks his head out of the sand. At this point, quickly fire your bow into the eyes of the enemy, then jump on him and inflict several strong blows on the vulnerable points of the colossus.

After defeating the enemy, you will receive the "Secrets of the Sand" achievement.

Colossus #11 (Ignace)

The eleventh colossus in the game is probably the most creative one, because you have to use fire to fight him. To find the boss, head north of the temple across the bridge you were on while tracking down the second colossus. Get to the desert and then find a big chasm that you need to jump into.

Upon entering the boss fight, immediately try to find the torches and then climb up the platforms. Attract the attention of the colossus by shooting it with a bow. He must knock down the torch. Jump down and take the torch, then light it. Use the torch to lure the boss into the corner of the area towards the light. As a result, the colossus should fall from the edge of the platform, and its armor will then be destroyed.

Immediately climb on the boss and inflict several fatal blows to him in vulnerable points. After defeating the enemy, you will receive the Guardian and the Void achievement.

Colossus #12 (Pelagia)

To find the colossus, head northeast from the temple. Go across the bridge to the forest. Now move towards the waterfall to find a temple with pillars.

After finding the boss, try to be constantly on the move so that he does not hit you with his exploding projectiles. Try to get around the boss from behind and then climb onto his body. While on the colossus, land a few hits on its weak spots.

After defeating the enemy, you will receive the "Thunder Over the Lake" achievement.

Colossus #13 (Phalanx)

The colossus is a giant flying worm. To find it, move in the same direction as when looking for the sixth colossus. You must get to the desert. Through the forest, go to the ruins, where the thirteenth colossus will be waiting for you.

Try not to get off the horse so that you can move quickly. Try to hit the large pouches on the body of the colossus with your bow. When you hit all three pouches, the boss will attack you. Try to have time to jump onto the wings of the colossus and hold on to them until he takes a normal pose.

You need to strike at three vulnerable zones of the enemy, located on his body. After that, the enemy will be defeated. After defeating the enemy, you will receive the achievement "Eye of the Cyclone".

Colossus #14 (Senobia)

Finding the fourteenth colossus is quite difficult. Exit the temple and head west to the bridge. Pass through it and enter the abyss in the mountains. Follow the path to the northwest and enter the cave. After exiting the cave, you will find a lake that you need to swim through to reach the large courtyard. Climb up the lying pillar and run to the right until you reach the boss.

In the duel with the fourteenth colossus, you need to be ready to jump on the platforms. The boss is very maneuverable, and therefore catching on to him can be a problem. Climb onto the pillar and from there shoot the colossus with a bow so that in the end it destroys the building. Do the same with all the pillars until the building collapses. In the new zone, go up to the platform and lure the colossus there. After the platform falls on the enemy, his armor will be destroyed and you can safely strike at the weak points of the colossus to defeat him.

After that, the enemy will be defeated. After defeating the enemy, you will receive the "Shield of the Colossus" achievement.

Colossus #15 (Vigilo Presidium)

Finding the boss is very easy. Go across the north bridge, then turn east. You must find a huge statue, and then enter the arena, where the fifteenth colossus will be.

When fighting the boss, try to dodge attacks in time so that the enemy does not crush you and you do not have to start all over again. Climb onto the platform in the arena and lure the boss to it with a bow and arrows. Then go higher. Do this action several times until you get to the stairs. The boss must then break the bridge.

Climb onto it and then jump onto the colossus. First, hit the enemy's hand so that he drops his weapon. After that, hit the enemy's palm for additional damage. After that, the enemy will be defeated. After defeating the enemy, you will receive the achievement "Valley of the Fallen".

Colossus #16 (Grandis Supernus)

Well, you have reached the last boss in the game. Get ready for a very difficult battle in which you have to use all your skills gained during the passage.

Run south from the temple until you reach a huge door. Use the beam of light from the sword to open the door and go inside. Now move across the platforms until you meet the colossus.

When fighting the final boss, you have to overcome several steps before defeating him. Use the collapsed platforms to avoid being hit by a laser attack. Run through the underground passages to get closer to the colossus.

When you get to the boss, climb up his body. First, destroy the vulnerable point on the back of the enemy, and then hit the arm of the colossus when he grabs you. Climb onto the shoulder of the boss and use the beam of light to find his last vulnerable spot. Shoot an arrow from your bow there, then quickly run towards the head of the enemy. There, deal the final blow to the colossus. After defeating the enemy, you will receive the achievement "The Last of the Colossi".

Congratulations, you have completed the game and defeated all the colossi!

Translator's note: I translated the passage of the game Shadow Of The Colossus without passing the game, at the time of translation I beat only the first monster. Keep this in mind when you read, I did not see what I am writing about, I could have confused somewhere =)

Colossus #1

(F-5; ground combat)

Valus - The Minotaur

The first colossus is located south of the castle. Moving south, you will reach the wall. Look around, you will see some vines climbing over the rocks and climb them. Move up to find the giant.

To start the battle, you need to attract the attention of the colossus. Shoot an arrow at him and he will follow you. Run behind his left leg and jump to the spawn. Stick the sword into the glyph. Attack the glyph until the colossus falls to all fours. Use this opportunity to jump on his back and climb onto the platform. Rest if the grip is loose (just duck; you will automatically grab the railing if you lose your balance). After resting, climb on the head of the colossus and you will see the glyph. He's the only one, no problem.

Translator's note: I was not able to hit the glyph with simple blows, only strong, with accumulation.

Colossus #2

(F-3; open space battle)

Quadratus-Taurus Major

Move north from the castle. There are two bridges (if you look at the map). Take the lead north. When you cross the bridge, you will be shown a cutscene which will make it clear where to go (pay attention to the giant gate below). Head towards the giant gate to start the battle (just keep to the right as you leave the platform).

There are two weak points: the head and the tail, both at the top of the colossus. To climb the colossus you need to take a bow. Stand in front of him and keep your bow at the ready. His legs will start to rise; aim at the underside of one of the legs (it should glow) and he will lower that leg. Run to this leg and jump on it; climb up the leg and find a ledge where you can rest. Once fully recovered, climb onto the colossus and move towards the rear leg. The grip strength indicator will drop; simply balance on the colossus to restore grip strength if needed. Attack the glyph on the back side. You will be able to reduce the health indicator by half. Then move towards the head; one side will be more comfortable, stick to that side. End with a glyph attack on the head.

Colossus #3

(E-2; platform battle)

Gaius-Earth Knight

Move north of the castle, and use the bridge leading north. Head northwest around the canyon, but stay in column E of the map (in other words, move north of the canyon). near the upper left corner of E-3 there is an entrance to the mountains. Follow this path, always turn right and you will see a cutscene showing you are in the right place. Swim to the platform jutting out of the water. Climb to the top and jump across to the foliage on the nearest pillar. Move around to be on the back of a large structure and jump back onto it. Move counterclockwise and jump onto the stairs. Go ahead and the fight will begin.

First, lure the colossus closer to the center of the site. Then run to the center and stand on a round dais. Attack the right hand of the colossus (with which he slams you). Just before it goes down, dodge and he will slam the dais - this will destroy some of the armor on his right arm as shown in the cutscene. Now let him hit you (but not from above), jump on his right hand and climb up to the head. Attack the glyph, health will be reduced by half. Then get on his back and try to slide down. Just slowly press and release R1. If you do everything right, land on the platform that surrounds your waist. Move to the stomach and find another glyph. End it. If you can't do it in one pass, you can jump onto his body with your right hand.

Colossus #4

(G-5; battle in the open)

Phaedra - Equus Prime

Move a little south and further east of the castle. Follow the path that leads to the mountains. He, at the end, will lead you to a field with four hills, each of which has an entrance. Remember these hills and entrances. To go down, go along the ledge on the right. Explore the field, if necessary - use the sword, and you will find the fourth colossus.

When the battle starts, move to the far hill and wait for the colossus to come to you. When he appears on the hill, jump down and run into the tunnel under the hill. Wait for the noise to die down (this will show that the colossus has stopped). Then run to the exit corresponding to the hill opposite. Come out, and you will see a colossus crouched at the first hill. If so, run to him and jump on his tail. Climb up the back to the neck and find the weak spot. Land a blow and the colossus will lower its head, allowing you to slide onto the top of its head, where you will find the glyph. Strike and kill the colossus. If you fall, just repeat again.

Colossus No. 5

(H-4; dogfight over water)

Avion-Delta Phoenix

Start as with the fourth colossus (east of the castle). If you look at the map, which is just north of the one that led to the fourth battle. This will land you on a path with a canyon on one side and a rock on the other. Move to the east and go to the passage located in the middle between columns G and H on the map. The passage leads to an area with water and many tall pillars. Look straight into the water and you will see a spot near the foundation that you can swim under. After swimming, climb up the wall in front of you. Cross the platform and a cutscene will start. Jump into the water and swim towards the colossus. You will float three stone columns, the surface of which is not high above the water. Stand on the central one and shoot the colossus with a bow so that it attacks you. When it passes, get ready to jump and grab the shoulder of the wing. The entertainment begins.

Try to turn the camera so that it looks in the direction of flight. This will help you know when to move and when to hold on. If a wall is coming, prepare to hold on until the colossus has completed its turn. In any case, if you are on a beast, look for the three glyphs at the end of each of the wings and on the tail

Colossus No. 6

(D-6; dungeon fight)

Barba

Move southwest of the castle into the woods at E-5. From the entrance to the forest (use the map) move to the west. It seems to me easier to go on foot and not use a horse (it gets stuck easily in this place). As a result, you will no longer be able to move west; look to the right (north) and you will see a large passage leading down. Call the horse if you are on your feet. Move to D-6. There will be huge gates; under the gate is the way inside. Once inside you will see a huge room. Move down and the battle will begin.

Quickly run to the opposite side and jump onto the wall. Small platforms will help you climb the wall. There is a safe area at the far end where you can rest. Wait and as a result, the colossus will crouch down to look at you. Use this opportunity to grab him by the beard and climb onto his head. One glyph is located at the top of the head. Attack and reduce the standard of living by half. The second glyph is on the lower left side of the back, you can just slide down the back and grab it quickly with R1.

Colossus No. 7

(D-1; water battle)

Bydrus

This guy is crafty. First, jump into the water and stay there. As a result, the giant will swim near you. Swim with him when he is close to the surface. It will soon bring you to the surface; grab the tail. Once you surface, quickly move towards the first orange spike sticking out of his back. DO NOT go to the orange spot near the spike yet, wait for the next exit to the surface, then immediately run to the spike, find a weak spot and pierce it as quickly as possible. If you linger on the orange spot, you will take damage. It won't kill you, but you will take damage every time you disable the orange spike. Your chances after each spike will drop as the colossus dives deeper and deeper. I advise you to jump off the colossus after the destruction of each spike to avoid damage and speed up its return to the surface. Repeat for the other two spikes. When the spikes are disabled, you can move to his head, find the glyph and attack him until the beast is dead.

Colossus No. 8

(G-6; cage fight)

Kuromori-Wall Shadow

Move to the area with half destroyed walls. Look for the colossus in the hollow. Shoot him with a bow so that he goes to you. It attacks with fireballs that explode in an electrical cloud. Just wait for him to get closer. Then run away from him to see his weak point through the window. Fire as many arrows as possible (the hit can be determined by the escaping jet of dark substance). He will fall on his back. Jump down (if you are near a broken wall, you can quickly jump down to the floor below). Find the glyph on his stomach and attack him. You have time for three strong hits until he rises. It's better not to risk it and do two. Repeat until he dies.

You can also dodge his ranged attacks, and when he starts to climb, he will go down the stairs to the lower floors. You can also try to cross to the other side. This will give you a chance to hit any two of his legs. When you hit it, it will fall. Run to the center of the arena and climb onto his belly (climb from the end of the tail).

Hint: There is a safe way from the top floor to the first. When you jump out of the opening, press R1 and move the joystick towards the wall. If done correctly, you will hook onto the bottom floor and take no damage. So you can quickly go down.

Colossus No. 9

(E-3; battle in open space with geysers)

Basaran-Storm Echo

Mount Agro and lure the colossus to one of the geysers (marked with a big black circle). There are three of them. I just rode Agro, holding a geyser between me and the colossus to lure him in. When it hits the geyser, I circled the colossus. Keep moving or his attacks will knock you off your horse and deal a lot of damage. At some point, the geyser will knock the colossus onto its side. You can speed up this moment if you shoot the leg of the colossus (as in the second battle). When this happens, climb your belly to the top side. Wait there for the colossus to stand up and don't forget to hold R1 (so you don't slip off). You will be safe on the edge of his shell as soon as he gets up. Go to the tail, find the way to the back and go to the head, where the glyph is located. Further you know.

Colossus #10

(E-4; sandpit battle)

Dirge-Sand Tiger

Jump on Agro and wait for the head of the colossus to emerge from the sand. You will need to hold R1 all the time while you are jumping, as well as X to keep your maximum speed (Agro will choose the path) when the colossus appears. Shoot him in the eyes with your bow. He will be partially blinded and crash into the wall, and his back will come out of the sand. Use this moment to find the glyph on his back and attack. You may need a couple of rounds to finish this fight.

Hint: When you are being chased and trying to get in the eyes, it will be much easier if you press and hold R1, then you will roll over on your horse. Then release R1 and aim manually. If you continue to hold R1, the cursor will return to the center if you release the joystick, and without R1, the crosshair will remain where you left it. If you need to rest - run to one of the high pillars and rest near its base.

Colossus No. 11

(F-1; battle in the castle and in the open)

Celosia

Move all the time to the north of the castle and you will see a large hollow in the ground. On the eastern side of the depression, you can go down (you will have to leave the horse). At the bottom, swim across the pond and enter the castle at the end of the ramp. At the end you will find a room with burning torches. Jump down and start the battle.

This guy is very fast!!! Use the roll to dodge his quick attacks. After finding the stand for the torch, hide in the recess behind the stand to restore health. And if you get knocked down, you can quickly get up by rotating or simply pulling the joystick in different directions.

Jump onto one of the torch stands and wait for the colossus to hit it. The torch will fall. Wait for the colossus to strike again, jump down when it starts to strike. Quickly grab the torch and lift it up with the O button while facing the colossus. Now try to drive the colossus out of the castle. Just keep the torch up and let it back away. Drive him outside and push him off the cliff until the torch goes out (you can light it again by holding it on fire). Find the body of the monster (the armor should disappear); jump onto it while holding R1. Attack the glyph as much as you can. You may need to return to the torch zone if you can't kill the colossus in one go. If the second round is required, you can not drive the monster out of the castle, but simply jump on its back from one of the torch stands.

Colossus No. 12

(G-2; water battle)

Pelagia - Great Basilisk

Drive east of the castle and find the road leading north. Head towards the bridge that is in the lower left corner of G-2. Drive into the grove and keep to the right (I recommend doing without a horse in the forests). After leaving the grove, move left (north) down the side of the mountain until you find something that looks like a waterfall. Don't fall into the water. Climb up the pillar nearby and cross over to the other side. Keep moving until you see a patch of grass. From here you can jump into the water. If you enter the water too soon, you may be pulled into the waterfall and die. Move further north and find a round platform jutting out of the water. When you do this, a cutscene will show that the fight has begun.

This fight is pretty easy if you can dodge the ranged attacks. There are white buildings that look like a gazebo. Move towards him. To avoid being hit, swim underwater (faster this way). Wait in one of the white buildings until the colossus is next to you. You can use round rocks and crouch behind them to hide while you wait. When the colossus gets to you, shoot some arrows at its head and the monster will lower it. Run, jump and grab your head. When your head rises, get ready to jump back onto the roof of the building you are near. Then the colossus will rise from the water and put both front legs on the roof of the building where you are. Run and jump on his chest. Attack the glyph and when the health drops to half, the colossus will destroy the gazebo and return to the water. Swim to another gazebo and repeat until you win.

You can also swim towards its tail and climb onto its back. There are several points on the monster's head that you can attack to control it and lead to white gazebos that you can jump onto. Further, as described above.

Colossus No. 13

(E-6; dogfight over the desert)

Phalanx - Trail Drifter

Find a structure that looks like a stone fence in the desert and drive to its center to start the battle.

Shoot arrows at the three large bags at the bottom of the colossus to make it descend. Then mount Agro and jump from Agro to one of the front fins of the monster. Three glyphs are located under its dorsal fins. You have enough time to attack the two front ones at once, after which the colossus will dive into the sand (jump down when you get closer to the ground). Repeat the previous steps and you will be able to finish him off on the second run (the third glyph is located at the end of the tail).

Colossus No. 14

(C-2; battle in ruined city)

Cenobia - Destruction Luster

Remember where you started because you will end there. Go into the garden as far as you can and the fight will begin. Find the fallen pillar and jump on it. Use the buildings nearby to keep climbing. Look for a standing column and jump on it. Climb to the top and crouch (so you won't be knocked down). You need to do this with several columns until you return to the beginning. In front of the last column there is a structure that the colossus cannot destroy. Jump on this structure just before the last column falls, otherwise you will take heavy damage. Lure the colossus to the starting point and, as a result, he will lose armor. Then just jump on his back.

Colossus #15

(G-1; battle in the Colosseum)

Argus - The Sentinel

When you start the battle, find the lowest platform (looks like a large grate) on the left far side. There will be a platform with steps a little further than the jump limits. Stand in front of her and turn towards the colossus. Wait for him to lift his leg to step on you and jump away. The grate will rise slightly, use this to jump up. Once at the top, wait for the colossus to hit the wall and the blocks fall down. Climb up them. (In some places there are no suitable blocks, look for them; the middle and left side seemed useful to me). Climb up and start crossing one of the beams at the very top. Be on the lookout, the colossus will bring it down. Be ready to jump as the colossus prepares to attack you and knock you off the beam. After the cutscene, use the broken beam to jump onto the colossus. Finding a weak spot, climb down his right arm below the elbow and hit him to make him drop his sword. Now jump to the ground and make him hit you from above. When he does, grab onto his arm and finish him off.

Colossus No. 16

(F-8; final)

Malus - Grand Gigas

Starting from the save location, jump on your horse through the gorge (otherwise you won't do it). Since the camera can move around you, just jump on your horse and press X. Let the game do everything for you and you will cross the gorge without problems. Start climbing when the cutscene ends. Look left and right and you will find where you can climb. Once at the top, you will have to run and dodge the attacks of the colossus. First, run up the stairs and quickly roll forward under the fallen rock a little to your right. Look around and see holes in the ground - these are the entrances to the tunnel. To hit them, you must avoid attacks by using the buildings between you and the colossus. You have to run and jump and roll at the last second. Once inside the colossus, move up. You will reach a weak spot on the back of the colossus. Hit him and be ready to jump on the brush that stretches to the back. Cling to the hand and climb down. The camera will take you to a place where you can quickly jump onto your forearm. Move to the biceps to find another point. Hit it and be ready to jump to another brush. Once on the right hand, strike at an appropriate level. This paralyzes the hand and arm of the monster; quickly switch to your bow and shoot the fur patch on the monster's shoulder. The colossus will stretch his right hand to his shoulder. Drop onto your shoulder and move up the back towards your head.
