When playing the campaign of Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain, closer to its completion, you can get into a situation where the list no new story missions. Most often this happens after the 43rd mission, when all the others that open up for passage are repeatable tasks that have already been completed earlier, but now with a higher level of difficulty. We are offered to fight Quiet again, but now without rapid, or to deal with the skulls again, saving Code Talker. And in the next 44th mission - to visit the refinery again, but without the right to be discovered at least once. There are no other tasks at this stage, and the list looks like this:

Many are confused, asking why they are forced to go through the same tasks again, instead of continuing the story. Is there really no way to open other missions without replaying on extreme difficulty?

There is a solution

Go to the side quest list and just complete the free side quests. After one or two such tasks, another main one will open for you - already the 47th mission, and again this is a double with the elimination of the inspection at the airport. Well, go back to the side missions, and complete them again. After one or two, a cut-scene will finally turn on and you will be called to the base. And now after it you can unlock mission 46 in Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain, and precisely she will be the main one in the entire story campaign this wonderful game from Hideo Kojima. And although at first it will look like a duplicate of the very first mission in the game, be sure to go through it and do not miss the cut-scenes, especially at the very beginning and the one where Snake is in the ambulance. They are different, and these are the main points that shed light on the denouement of the plot.

But what if you find yourself in a situation when you have previously completed all open side missions, and new ones do not appear? So it happened with the author of these lines. Everything is simple. It is quite possible that you, like me, even have white dots “glow” near the completed side tasks, as if they were not completed.

Such missions can be completed again, which I did. After all, they will take much less time than "sweating" and again trying to complete the main task with the "extreme" tag. After 5-10 minutes, I already had the opportunity to watch a new story intro and go through The Phantom Pain.

Hidden cut scenes

Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain has a lot of Easter eggs, which, among other things, allow you to see funny screensavers. They do not appear without fail, but only when certain conditions are met.

For example, after the 43rd mission, you can fool around with Quiet, which, according to many, is the best cut-scene with your favorite character. To do this, you need to choose her as a partner (if you had, for example, D-Dog up to this point, then you can go to the landing menu in one of the duplicated main tasks, change the wolf to Quiet, and refuse to land). When the girl is sitting with you in the helicopter, land on the medical platform - a cutscene with Snake and Quiet will turn on. You don't have to be fully connected to Quiet to open this scene. I didn't have the last icon filled.

On the same platform, you can enter a certain door and see a scene with a familiar character from Ground Zeroes. Interestingly, there are no signs of such a door on the map. How to open 45 Quiet mission and 150 side quest

There is an opinion that without mission 45, which is dedicated to Quiet, it is impossible to complete The Phantom Pain campaign. This is not true. This mission has not opened for me, as well as the 150th side task, without which access to it is not provided. Nevertheless, I successfully completed the game itself and saw the last final splash screen.

To open the 45th mission, you first need to open 150 side effects. To do this, according to the players, you need to establish a full connection with Quiet, go through the 43rd episode, see the cutscene with Hughie, which turns on shortly after the 43rd mission (read above about how to continue the campaign after it), choose a girl in as your partner, and not use the butterfly emblem.

If these conditions are met, at one moment, sitting in a helicopter, you will be contacted by radio and told about Silent, after which the 150th important side mission will open, and after it the 45th.

The secret ending of Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain

Konami's conflict with Kojima is felt very well at the end of the game. The ending is quite sudden precisely because of its location among the missions. One gets the impression that it simply lacks a few more basic tasks. Moreover, Hideo did not have time to realize at least one more full-fledged story episode, which was planned, and the video with concept art and screensavers of which was placed only on a special disk in the collector's edition. If you have already completed the game, be sure to check it out below. It essentially complements the campaign, as well as its completion.

Nuclear disarmament ending

Another "intermediate" ending, which was hidden in the game, and not everyone can see it during their passage, concerns nuclear disarmament. To open it, you must fulfill a number of conditions: complete the 31st mission, do not have a nuclear warhead at your base, do not develop it, and if you already have it, dismantle it; all nuclear weapons of all users of your regional server must be dismantled.

Metal Gear games have always had a lot of secrets and unusual tactics. The game told about some of them in detail, in other cases you had to guess on your own. Let's start with the simplest. Even inattentive players have noticed that Big Boss has a bionic arm. In addition to excellent knockout power and outstanding appearance, it is distinguished by the fact that it can make clicks to attract the attention of enemies. The hearing radius is small, so the risk of alarming all opponents in the area is small. It is very convenient when you need to lure out a soldier sitting, say, on a tower.

Bleed the box

Metal Gear Solid and the box are inseparable concepts. AT Phantom Pain on this truly irreplaceable thing, you can stick images that distract enemies. A strange-looking box traveling around the base certainly attracts the attention of the enemy.

But, if it depicts, say, a burning beauty or a senior officer (do not think that we are comparing), the enemy soldier will either stare and drool, or salute and move on. And if you suddenly managed to attract the attention of the enemy with suspicious behavior, do not forget that you can slip out of the box with lightning speed, leaving your opponents in the cold. The main thing at the same time is not to get caught under anyone's feet.

And the soldiers react amazingly to the box!

Any enemy base is literally crammed with equipment that does not allow you to live in peace: from flashlights that treacherously illuminate you in the dark, and communication systems to anti-aircraft radar that interferes with helicopter evacuation. For the success of any operation, all these things must be eliminated. It's better to do this with remote controlled explosives, so you can eliminate all objects at the same time without making a fuss ahead of time.

There will be no problems with finding a radar - a huge antenna is hard to miss. With the communication system, everything is somewhat more complicated. To cut communications, you need to destroy all three antennas located in different parts of the camp. But there is another option - instead of antennas, blow up a table with radio equipment. This can be a little more difficult (the table is indoors and surrounded by opponents), but in some cases it is much more convenient than running from one end of the base to the other.

Lie down to rest

If you decide to evacuate an enemy soldier to your base, do not delay. No need to stuff the poor fellow with tranquilizers and leave him on the ground for the time being. He can wake up and take a bullet from you or your partner (or fill you with lead). But what to do if a soldier is not needed at the base, you don’t want to spoil your reputation with a murder, but you also can’t leave him lying around like that?

There is a simple method: run up to a sleeping enemy and kick him. He, of course, wakes up, and you grab him and knock him out. So he will lie in the blackout much longer than after a tranquilizer, and you will not be disturbed. Another good way is to point a weapon at the enemy and order him to lie down on the ground. The poor fellow will remain lying until one of his comrades-in-arms rescues him, but at that time you will be already far away.

Toys

As the game progresses, things of a not entirely obvious purpose will appear in the Big Boss arsenal. For example, a water pistol. We don’t argue, it’s pretty funny to poke it at the enemy and watch him get scared, thinking that the weapon is real. But the gadget can also be used more usefully, namely, to disable enemy equipment with its help. In normal cases, to permanently disable the generator or antenna, you have to use firearms or explosives, and this is very noisy. With a water gun, the equipment is cut down quieter nowhere.

Riders on the storm

The success of any operation depends on your stealth skill. That is why it is better to sneak into the enemy camp at night. But even here there are obstacles in the form of towers with searchlights around the perimeter, soldiers with night vision devices and overly vigilant guards.

What to do in these cases? Everything is very simple - wait for the beginning of the sandstorm (we are talking about Afghanistan now). During it, visibility drops to almost zero, and if you have planned a route for yourself in advance, you can easily sweep right under the noses of enemies. Just mark them in advance so you don't stumble upon them by accident.

Another useful tactic if you need to steal a soldier who is surrounded by other soldiers: wait until the storm starts and visibility drops, shoot the soldier with a tranquilizer in the corps, then rush towards him as fast as you can. By the time you run, the enemy will already be disabled, and the storm will rage. Raise the poor fellow from the ground and, dodging between other soldiers, get away. Quickly, silently, without casualties.

Busy!

A stealthy invasion failed, and now the enemies are combing the entire camp in search of your unfortunate persona? No problem. You can always hide in the toilet and sit there. But what if the soldiers are too suspicious and are about to open the door to your shelter?

The solution is simple: turn on your iDroid to record how a certain soldier toils in the stomach. It doesn’t sound very pleasant, but it will save you from unnecessary attention. Anyone approaching the toilet will only shake their head sympathetically and move on. You can find the cassette in the Da Shago Kallai location in Afghanistan next to the toilet in the enemy camp.

You can knock out the enemy in different ways: tranquilizer, rubber bullets or CQC techniques. But there is another interesting way. As the game progresses, you will have the opportunity to order the ammo container to be dropped anywhere in the location, including on the enemy’s head. Pleasure is not that cheap, but it cuts down quietly and the first time.

And now for a little spoiler: try this tactic against Quiet!

look both ways

AT Phantom Pain you can play in different ways: mow down everything alive with a machine gun, put enemy soldiers to sleep, or avoid attention altogether. In all cases, your first step at the beginning of any mission should be reconnaissance of the area.

Snake's binoculars can do a very handy thing - mark enemies. We do not recommend neglecting this. In the midst of a firefight or during a quiet retreat, the last thing you need is an unseen soldier behind you. In addition, in the later stages of the game, almost every enemy camp has snipers. When approaching the location, they may not notice you, but then they will definitely turn life into hell. So don't be lazy and tag all the enemies. This is where your wolf partner DD will help you.

Kept you waiting, huh?

And finally - a useful tactic. Develop an advanced decoy (a copy of Big Boss, constantly repeating: "Kept you waiting, huh?") and a sleep gas mine. Put them next to the place of accumulation of enemies. They will not shoot at the bait, but they will come to check and step on a mine. So you can quickly lay down a lot of enemy soldiers. The main thing is to place the mines correctly and not step on them yourself!

After the main character wakes up, follow the doctor's instructions to look around. Enter your name and date of birth to continue playing. When you wake up again, you will find out that the hero has been in a coma for 9 years, lost his arm, his whole body is in pieces. A little later, you will be asked to choose a new face and hairstyle.


Escape from the hospital with Ishmael

We are attacked by a killer girl, but a nearby hospital patient saves us. Follow the instructions to crawl across the floor after Ishmael. Walk along the corridor, approach the elevator. A fiery man appears, the fire-fighting system extinguishes him.

We follow Ishmael into the next room. Once the path is clear, move to the open door ahead. Rise to your feet and go down the corridor again.

On the other side of the door, go down the stairs until you see the light from the lanterns on the walls. Enemies are moving towards you. Turn around and return to Ishmael on the upper platform. Follow through the crowd of hospital workers, and as soon as you get to the next room, then turn into a booth on the left. We move lying, hiding from the military behind the screens. Then quickly move forward before the enemy gets to your position.

Follow Ishmael to another corridor. Here you will have to disguise yourself among the corpses scattered on the ground. When the fireman kills the military, deal with your wound, then turn around and follow through the open gate.

Keep moving down the stairs and stop in front of the flames blocking the further path. Wait for Ishmael to open the door nearby, go to another location.

Hide behind the column on the left to avoid the approaching soldier. As soon as the cut-scene is completed, prepare the gun you found for battle.


Leave a burning building

Enter aiming mode and shoot the fire extinguisher located a little further down the corridor. This is how you deal with fire. Note that you can switch between first person and third person at any time while aiming. After the path is clear, get to your friend. Two soldiers lie in wait for you around the corner. Deal with them by shooting them in the head once. Use cover. Choose the best position to guarantee the highest level of protection possible. Follow the trail of blood in the corridor, and then, as soon as the action resumes, get close to the guard looking the other way and shoot him in the head.

Next, approach the broken railing ahead and eliminate the two guards investigating the area below. There are two more opponents at the location. Find cover quickly and deal with them. Go down the stairs and through the lobby to the main entrance of the hospital. As soon as the action resumes, the flaming creature will try to hunt you down. There is a strange flying boy nearby all the time. Run to the main entrance. After you deal with the enemy, leave the building through the gaping hole in the wall. Finally, deal with the flying creature by aiming and shooting at the right spot. We leave in an ambulance.

We leave the wreckage of the car. A stranger comes to the rescue, we sit down with him on a horse. The fiery giant is catching up with us on his flaming horse. Aim your weapon at the approaching enemy and shoot. Keep the creature at a distance. Shoot only when the creature is approaching.

Breaking away from the enemy, we learn that the stranger's name is Ocelot. Together with him on the ship we go to Afghanistan to save our former assistant.

Mission Objectives: Locate and evacuate Kazuhiro Miller.
Reach the commander from Wakh Sind Barracks.
Complete the mission without being detected.
Find hidden diamonds in the camp.
Get to the truck driver.
Find and rescue Kazuhira Miller.


Follow the instructions to activate your iDroid (Tab key). The main target is in the Da Gwandai Khar area in the north of the location. Close the droid, then activate your binoculars (hold F). Find a village located in the distance. It is easy to notice if you pay attention to the sun's rays reflected from the windows. Adjust the zoom (V key). Finally, place a marker on a settlement so you can always see where it is. The marker can be placed both on the map and through binoculars.

Your first task is to explore the village you marked on the map. We need to get more information about Miller's location. You will be introduced to the basics of riding. You will learn how to move around on a horse, how to get and hide weapons, aim from them, use binoculars while sitting on a horse. Please note that you can hide behind the horse by sliding to the left or right side.



Capture the outpost

Drive along the dirt road. As a result, a warning will appear about the presence of a sentry post near the current position. Stop, activate your binoculars and study the area. On the left side of the road is a soldier smoking a cigarette. Zoom in and mark the enemy as a target (this function works on both hostages and vehicles). Do the same with the other enemy on the right side of the road. Next, you must deal with these guards without being seen.

Leave your horse and move along the nearby rocks on the left side. It is desirable to move while sitting (key C). Approach the smoking enemy from behind. The last two meters to the enemy you need to sneak up (hold down Ctrl), otherwise he will notice us. By quickly pressing the LMB button, we can neutralize the enemy with a throw through ourselves, by briefly holding the LMB button, we can capture him. When captured, you will be prompted to either interrogate, or stun or kill the enemy. (If you do not have an interpreter at the main base, then you will not be able to interrogate an enemy who does not know English).

Deal with the enemy and hide his body. (If we stun the enemy, then in a couple of minutes he will wake up and warn the others that he was attacked). Behind you there is a toilet - there you can hide a neutralized or killed enemy. Move the body to the toilet cubicle. Before you leave this location, take the diamond located under the table near the abandoned building (there is a glowing marker indicating its position).

We also neutralize the second soldier at the post. Perhaps by this time it will be night. Night makes you invisible, but also reduces the visibility of your enemies. After eliminating the second enemy, the guard post will be neutralized. Hide the body of the guard behind the wall nearby, then return to the horse.


Village in the center

We reach the village in the center of the location. You must find a spot overlooking the village to get a good view of the area. To your left, just south of the village, there is a large rock. Dismount from your horse, climb up to the ledge and use your binoculars to study the area below. First, find a 2-story building with lights on in the center of the village - there is a parabolic antenna on the roof. Ocelot notes that this is a good place to look for more information about Miller's location. There are many more enemies in the village, but they all walk around the outskirts, and the building with the antenna is guarded by 2 people.

Make sure the guards split up before continuing. First, deal with a lone enemy behind the main entrance to the building. Wait for him to take a short route along the building, then quickly sneak up and disable him. Earlier it was said about the illuminated hut, this is where you can hide the body of a neutralized enemy. There are sandbags around rough diamonds. There will also be a second guard nearby. Take care of him and hide his body there too.

With 2 of the 4 enemies neutralized, you can go inside the main building in search of the necessary information. However, before doing this, it is best to find the 2 remaining enemies. You can spot them inside the building if you point your binoculars at the building itself and eavesdrop on snippets of dialogue.

Find the big blue gate on the left side of the main entrance to the central building and go to the end. There will be a small staircase at the corner on the right. Climb up and collect the fuel resources lying on the box. The information you need is in the lighted room ahead. You can enter the room through the door on the right side of the crates. It doesn't matter if you open the door silently, it will still attract the guards in the room below.

Once you're inside, scan everything on the table for Miller's location. Once you receive the required intelligence, you will need to leave the building very quickly to avoid detection. Go through the door, turn left and walk along the stone ledge. Finally, jump down. Leave the location, whistle to call the horse.



Find and infiltrate Da Gwandai Khar

Now you know Miller's location. Get on your horse and ride to Da Gwandai Khar (yellow marker on the map). It is quite obvious that it is best to enter the village from the side, and not along the central road, galloping on a horse. Follow the dirt road north of the village and start heading northeast. (Diamonds can be found on the slopes northeast of the village).

When you get to the fork ahead, you will see another guard post. Most likely, it will now be daytime, so you need to move carefully. If you want to infiltrate an outpost, then find a hill and use binoculars to study the place where opponents gather. If you do not want to deal with opponents, then move to the next target without disarming the outpost. Leave the dirt road, find a ravine in the hills northeast of the post. Climb up the hill and follow the path between the rocks. Once you are on the other side, you will see the perfect vantage point to explore the village of Gwandai Khar.

Gvandai Khar is a mountain village. Open the droid. Move the marker to the large building marked "Miller" (it will be signed if intel is found). Use binoculars to explore the entire location below. You will be able to see several opponents along the road. Several guards patrol the streets of the city. There are searchlights on the tops of the buildings, machine-gun posts along the perimeter.

Jump off your horse and go down the slope towards the city. Along the road there will be a small one-story hut, on the right side, on the outskirts of the city. You can hide behind her. (To the southeast of the village, near a lonely hut, lies a diamond). In addition, tall grass will help you move unnoticed. Sit in the grass for as long as necessary to make the path safe.

After you get behind the small hut, you should approach the hill behind it, heading northwest. Do not forget that you need to move, at least in a half-crouch. Use rocks as cover. At the top of the hill on the easternmost edge of the area is a low-roofed hut on a concrete veranda. Jump to the edge of the hill behind the hut and continue northwest, traveling between rocks and buildings on the outskirts of the village. Soon you will reach an opening between the buildings on the left, which leads to the main road. Make sure the road is safe and quickly make your way through the hole.

(At the northernmost building on the north side there is a crevice, we climb onto the roof along it, we find a diamond. Another diamond lies in ruins in the northwestern part of the village).

Find the blue gate opposite the building you need and go through it. Immediately turn left and move along the passage. Enter the building ahead. (In the central room against the right wall you can find audio cassette). Here we stun the commander of the military and a couple of soldiers. Take a right, go past the table with the radio, and then turn into the second room. Approach the prisoner in a dark cape, chained to the far wall, free Kaz.



Deliver Kazuhira to the meeting point

You must now take Kazuhira east to the landing pad by the shortest route. Throw Kazuhira on the ground, then clear the entire location of any enemies present here. You must remain unnoticed. When the area is cleared, lift Kazuhira on your shoulders and move on. If you take the “half-squat” position, you will significantly increase the chances of going unnoticed. Leave the building, move behind the hut opposite the cliff and go down the slope. All this is done in the direction of the southeast. As soon as you find yourself at the bottom of the hill, then boldly move to the landing site.

When you get to the helicopter, you will be warned about the presence of Skulls - zombie soldiers. Unfortunately, this means that you must leave the location on your own, and not by helicopter. A horse will automatically jump to your position. Put Kahuzir on the horse, then jump into the saddle. Ocelot will arrange a new meeting point, and you will see a marker on the screen.

Cross the bridge at the bottom of the hill and turn left towards the second bridge. From here, jump to the meeting point marked on the map. If you manage to stay out of sight, then you can reach your destination without stopping. By the way, the objectives of the mission said that you must complete it without being discovered by the Skulls.

However, if the Skulls detect you, they will immediately start chasing you with their intimidating speed. If this happens, you will need to zigzag to avoid injury. Eventually, the strange fog will dissipate, allowing you to reach the final point of the episode. When you reach the landing site, jump off your horse, pick up Kazuhira and take him to the helicopter. Once he's inside, jump on board.

Kazuhira has been rescued and you have returned to base on an offshore oil rig. Now it's time to look around Snake's new home. Approach Ocelot, follow his instructions to learn about the mother base. You will receive a Fulton evacuation device (a balloon that carries cargo into the air). Point the tranquilizer gun at one of the soldiers on the platform nearby and shoot him to sleep. Use Fulton on him. The evacuated enemy soldiers soon become your employees.

Open the droid and select the "Personnel Management" section in the menu of the mother base. Go to the development menu, select weapons (items) under development. In order to start developing the cardboard box, you must extract a few more soldiers. Shut down your droid, then get ready to deal with another soldier.


Evacuation practice

Throw the soldier to the ground and then evacuate him as before. As Ocelot explains, the success of the evacuation is affected by the state of human health and weather conditions. An injured person in bad weather can die in such an evacuation. You can see the percentage of success before deploying Fulton's device. In the same way, we evacuate the third soldier.

Open the droid and go to the "Weapons/Items" tab again. Choose a cardboard box to start designing. You must have enough GMP points.


Complete hand-to-hand combat training

Now you can start a new mission, but there are still some interesting things you can learn about at the mother base. Approach Ocelot once more and start the optional hand-to-hand combat training. Approach any of the nearby opponents, grab them and hit them. Follow the instructions to do the same for the other target.


Get into the helicopter and move to the area of ​​operations

(Before you continue, you may want to take a shower and cleanse the dried blood.) Open the droid and go to the "Missions" menu. Select the helicopter to call it to the site, get on board to leave this area. A lot of new projects will appear on the screen, and this mission will be completed. You will receive an "Ocelot's Briefing" and a piece of the "Background: Badge" emblem as a reward.

While in the air, you can choose any mission from Ocelot's list. Open the droid, go back to the "Missions" section and select "Mission List". Three new missions are currently available: The Hero's Journey, C2W, and Over the Fence. We will move in the specified order.

Choose from two drop zones. In this passage, a point was chosen north of Da Shago Callai. Before starting the mission, you can customize the equipment, partner, vehicle, character type. Set the drop-off time to 06:00. Your target - the commander of the special forces - has valuable information. You need to extract data from it, not kill it.

After you land, jump on your trusty horse and move towards the yellow marker. In order to get an additional reward, you will be able to extract information from any wild animal you meet at the location.


Clear the watchtower

Very soon you will see a sentry post to your right. There is a tent, a watchtower and a few guards here. It would be wise to deal with the guards before moving on. As you approach the occupied territory, use binoculars to view the location. Move furtively forward, hiding behind concrete blocks.

When all the guards are done, extract any you like, then collect useful loot and fuel resources. Nearby you can also find medicinal plants that can be used to make medicine or a tranquilizer for your weapons. Jump on the horse and keep moving towards the marker.


Find a target in Shago Village

Once you reach the outskirts of Shago Village, you will need to explore the location. To the northeast there is a high mountain which will give you a great view of the village. Find a good spot and use binoculars to view the location. Mark all guards and all objects of interest. Find a huge ruined building located in a courtyard with two watchtowers on the opposite side. There are wooden steps leading to the second floor. You also need to find the main target, located in the closed part of the building, up the stairs. There is a power generator nearby that can be turned off. With it, you can turn off the lights and security cameras. On the other hand, with these actions you will attract the attention of opponents.

Find the prisoner and move across the ravine

Release the prisoner

The more you eliminate enemies with headshots, the more soldiers will appear with helmets that prevent one-shot kills and from which paralyzing darts fly off. If you prefer the night, there will be more soldiers with infrared goggles. But by sending your fighters on missions to destroy enemy supplies, you can keep the number of equipped enemies to a minimum several missions ahead.


KOJIMA loves to come up with explanations for game chips. The phantom cigar speeds up time for a reason. but because it contains special psychoactive plants that affect the perception of time.

ENEMIES ARE PEOPLE TOO. In a sandstorm, soldiers cover their eyes with their hands, in rain they try to find shelter. Shooting a tranquilizer dart will make them scratch, and if you put a knocked out enemy on the bed, other soldiers will not pay attention to him. EVACUATE QUICKLY you can also use Fulton, you just have to pump it. When you can pick up vehicles and containers, you can go into the sky with them - you just need to get used to it.


SOME SOLDIERS Snake has a special characteristic of "badass". Because of them, other fighters are sometimes sent to the sickbay.

SKILLS fighters give you access to new opportunities. For example, a recruited translator will allow you to interrogate enemies who speak a certain language, or a dog handler will help you design a combat suit for your dog. But there is also a special specialist - the legendary gunsmith. Having acquired it in your army, you will be able to flexibly customize weapons. To do this, you will need to perform a series of special side-ops. The rest of the specialists can be calculated by interrogating the soldiers or by pumping binoculars, then when pointing at a fighter, he will display his characteristics and possible skills.


IF EQUIPPED Snake with a silver shield, he will protect you from damage, even when resting on his back. Therefore, by climbing into the D-Walker with a shield, Snake becomes practically invulnerable from any direction.

REINFORCEMENTS in alarm mode, they come only if an enemy fighter contacts the headquarters and requests help. To avoid this, you must either have time to kill / put the fighter to sleep with a walkie-talkie, or destroy all communication dishes in the camp. Anyway, WATER GUN- a useless toy, which, however, can be successfully used on the battlefield. Having approached the enemy from behind with this "weapon", you can force him to lie down on the ground. You can also use a water pistol to distract opponents - just spray water in a certain direction, the enemy hears the sound and goes to check what is happening there. With it, you can put out the fire, creating dark areas in which it is so easy to hide from stupid opponents. Water jet undermines mines. Well, if you accurately spray the enemy in the face, then the effect will be exactly the same as from a stun grenade (the enemy will be disoriented for 3-4 seconds). Last but not least, water destroys any electronics, so it is now possible to disable communication devices, radio transmitters and light switches without "noise and dust". But against the fiery man, this gun is powerless.


IF DESTROY communication dishes right before the C2W mission, it will end right on the opening credits.

Quiet marks enemies and can support with sniper fire: shoot at a selected enemy on command, take down a soldier who spotted you, and even fire at a grenade thrown by Snake to make it detonate faster.


TIKHONA CAN GIVE ORDERS through the iDroid menu. In the "Support Partners" section, you can send her to any sniper position in the area to scout the area or prepare for an attack.

TRUST PARTNERS increases if Snake takes them on main missions and uses them in combat. Increased trust allows you to develop new equipment for them and opens up new teams. For example, a horse can be trained to defecate on command - manure on the road will temporarily disable enemy vehicles, and the dog will learn to attack enemies and distract their attention with barking.


AUDIO CASSETTES are responsible for half of the game's plot. Only there you can find out that Ocelot's nickname, Shalashaska, came from his other two nicknames - Shashka and Sharashka. Story recordings can be listened to at any time. There is also a player in the game, and in order to replenish the playlist with new songs, they need to be found on tape recorders scattered across enemy camps. PC players are free to load any audio files from their hard drive into the player, whether it's their favorite song or a recording of the legendary scene from the movie "Blood and Concrete", - you just need to drop the files into the CustomSoundtrack folder located in the game folder.

FOR HELICOPTER you can develop a loudspeaker, after which the function "put the track on the helicopter" will appear in the player's menu. Then the loudspeaker will constantly broadcast the track you have selected (including user ones) to the entire district. This will not affect the gameplay in any way, but it will cheer you up.

SOME AUDIO RECORDINGS ARE USEFUL. If you have at least 60% confidence in Tikhona, after completing any mission with her, you will receive a cassette on which she hums the song Sins of the Father. African and Afghan music causes nearby enemies from their respective regions to go to sleep. You can also find cassettes with the voices of soldiers - they are able to stop the alarm. All useful cassettes break down over time, but they can be found again.

ANIMAL SOUND CASSETTES allow not to frighten off animals of the same species as in the recording. To get them, send an animal in Fulton, and you can find the corresponding cassette in the base on a special platform. The platform for animals is located separately, it can only be accessed from a helicopter. In the menu for selecting a landing point at the base, you will need to press a special button that will be displayed on the screen. By the way, the audio recording with the roar of a bear scares off enemy soldiers.

ANIMALS CAN BE USED IN COMBAT. You just need to develop a bait and use it near the enemy base. If she attracts aggressive beasts, they will keep the soldiers busy for a while. Snake's pets are not far behind: the dog can be taught the "face" command, and the horse can be left in the middle of the road. At the sight of a horse, the enemy transport will stop, and the driver will try to drive the animal away.

ON THE BASIS A LOT OF INTERESTING but no one will lead you by the hand. For example, over time, posters of Paz Ortega, drawn in anime style, can be found on the main platform and used as stickers for the box. Each platform has a side quest with a shooting range, and as you explore the base, you can find diamonds and emblems to customize your own logo. Patrolmen can help you with this: interrogate them, they will tell you where they saw good. Interrogation, like beating, will only increase the morale of your soldiers, because Big Boss himself made them happy with his attention!


MANY OPTIONAL SCENES appear on the base randomly. For example, a cut-scene in which Ocelot teaches the fighters what Big Boss explained to him in Metal Gear Solid 3. But some episodes will have to be found. So, at the very top of the medical platform, you will find a door with a blue lamp above it. Enter there and one of the most powerful optional scenes in the game will open up to you. If you have played the previous games in the series, the experience will last for a long time.

HIDDEN REPLICATIONS There are also many in the game. For example, when you save Kaz in the first mission, he will ask you to say the words he has been waiting for nine years. If you press the right button, the Boss will say his signature "Kept you waiting, huh?" names, say "2+2=5" (a reference to Orwell's 1984 novel) or the famous "La-Li-Lu-Le-Lo" - the code name for the Patriots.


SPECIAL HIDDEN CUT SCENE will only appear if all players in The Phantom Pain get rid of nuclear weapons. But this is such a utopian condition that it was only found in the game files.


FASTEST the way to move around the base and camps of opponents is a box. To use it in the game, there are special transport platforms located at the very edge of the camps. But in order to get to the right platform, you must first take the appropriate sticker from it. Then you can return to it from any other platform: just stand on it, put on the box and hold down the button that will appear on the screen. You can only move within the biome (you can't get to Afghanistan from Africa or leave the base) and only if the alarm is not turned on at the base.


It is a pity that the enemies in the fifth part have forgotten how to see traces of blood and prints of wet feet, but in general their level of intelligence has increased. If you have activated the alarm, the soldiers will not finally calm down until the end of the shift


BOX is an indispensable tactical tool, master it as soon as possible. It will allow you to hide in a conspicuous place and take the enemy in sight at the most convenient moment. If you are spotted from afar, turn your back on the enemy and jump: Snake will fly out of the box and be able to crawl away. But keep in mind - you have a limited supply of boxes, and jumping out of the box, you will not return back to it. And watch out for the rain.

THE MOST DIFFERENT TRICK. As you play, you will not only be able to design boxes with different types of camouflage, but also sculpt posters on them. Scattered throughout the world of the game are posters depicting various soldiers and women. They can be stuck in the box selection inventory by pressing a special button. Stick it on, stand in the box facing the enemy, and he will take you either for a soldier or for a woman. In the second case, he will come up and admire, becoming completely vulnerable to the crown CQC. Hit him in the jaw, grab him by the throat - he's all yours.

SOLDIER OF THE PAST ARMY Snake can be brought to his senses. The first option is to get on the medical platform (yes, in that room) an audio cassette with a "special cover" of Love Deterrence straight from the MGS: Peace Walker soundtrack. Another way is to approach the fighter in the box. He will look at her for a long time until he recognizes Big Boss in you, after which he will salute.
