The peak of the ancient dragons dark souls 3 walkthrough. Walkthrough Dark Souls III - Archdragon Peak - Archdragon Peak

Transformation into a dragon has already become a feature of the games of the series Dark Souls, the search for a way to transform turns into an exciting journey, and the appearance itself brings not only cosmetic improvements. In this guide, we will tell you in detail how to become a dragon.

First, in order not to run twice, you need to get to the location Garden of the Consumed King and kill the boss Oceiros, the Consumed King. You can get there after killing Cold Valley Dancers, from her fire, go up the stairs and go left. Having won Oceiros, open the door behind the room where the fight with him was. The broken fountain will have the body of a knight, and he has a gesture The path of Dragon, we will need it later.

Locations of the Dragon Torso Stone

AT Dungeons of Irithyll, near the elevator there is a statue of a sitting dragon, go to it and take the stone.

Locations of the Dragon Head Stone

Near the same dragon statue, use the gesture The path of Dragon, this will take you to a secret location Peak of the Ancient Dragons. From the first fire, go to the castle and fight the boss ancient wyvern, it will drop a Dragon Head Stone.

Now let's find the improved shimmering dragon stones.

Location of Glimmering Dragon Torso Stone

After defeating the wyvern, you will be sent to another place, go upstairs in a large room with a bunch of stone dragons, kill the snake magician there, otherwise he will call knights to infinity, from the closed gate, go down the stairs to the right and go to the wooden bridge, at the end of you another wyvern is waiting, go up the stairs to the mountain, there move straight ahead to the big bell (don't ring it) and the fire. Climb up the mountain again to a pile of stone statues sitting around. You will see a dragon-like mountain, use the gesture again The path of Dragon and get a stone.

Location of the Glimmering Dragon Head Stone

Go to the fire Guardians of the Abyss, there you will meet Deserter Hawkwood, the one who was sitting in Fire Temple, kill him and get a stone. If you lose, give the torso, but then you can take revenge. He will appear there only after you get a stone with a torso. If he is not there, talk to him in Fire Temple.

To get to the target location, you first need to get rid of Oceiros (the Consumed King), as well as open the tomb in the neighborhood (there, when searching the body, you can find a new gesture "The Way of the Dragon". After studying the latter, you can first return to the plateau for outside the Irithyll dungeon, find the skeleton of a creature that is half human, half dragon. After going further to the dead bodies, use the gesture you just learned, which will unlock your path to Dragon Peak, which was the initial goal.

Before you continue the passage of Dark Souls 3, we note that after studying the part of the location described above, it is very desirable to come back to the tomb for Oceros (where the new gesture already mentioned twice was discovered), the extra walks are worth it, because now you can pick up all the armor of the bloody dragon.

As for the new location, to which we have been diligently making our way all this time, we start in the middle of the gorge, here the route variability is zero - there is only one path, along which we climb higher. We make our way upstairs, leaning on the left side, there is a loot in the form of the soul of a tired warrior on one of the corpses. There you will be attacked by snake-like creatures armed with curved swords. They do not pose a big threat, but still do not relax.

Pay special attention to the enemy that uses two swords at once, with which he overlaps well from your attacks. In response to your attack, he is able to carry out a deadly counterattack, in general, be careful. Having dealt with all the opponents, continue the passage of Dark Souls 3, rising to the top of the cliff, there you will find the body, after searching it, take the gem.

When you go around the corner, be ready for the attack of another enemy, this time the threat is carried by balls of fire, which he releases directly from his mouth. Further along the left side of the terrain there is still an enemy, and in front of the turn his ally may jump out, therefore it is advisable to lure the first one immediately to yourself, and not approach him yourself. Against fireballs, any cover you can hide behind is a good help.

Having slightly cleared the area, you can come to the same path that brought us here, there is an elevator on the right, which, however, is not yet available. It is necessary to go through the place where they already fought against creatures similar to snakes, you will soon find the first fire on the map and at the same time the body, during the search of which coal falls out. After the fire, go further up the damaged stairs, on the right side you can pick up the soul of a nameless soldier, on the left - titanite.

Now continue through Dark Souls 3 by going under the archway, but still the best alternative is to go up the stairs accessible from the right side. Further iditol along the steps to the left, you will come across an ambush. What we did not recommend to go under the arch: so you would run right into that very ambush from the front side, but now you have a head start in the form of the opportunity to attack first.

Beware of a snake-like enemy that is lying on top and waiting for an opportunity to rush at you in a downward attack. Another local enemy has a hefty ax, which, despite its size, flies at an enviable speed, so be careful with it. It is best to try to roll over to him behind his back, from where you can inflict the most devastating damage.

Having finished with the enemies, inspect the body on the arch, a great shield of the Ancient Dragon will fall out there, and you can find another corpse already under the stairs below the arch, search it for loot as well. Now you can already activate the lever that unlocks the main gate, but before visiting the watchtower, it is advisable to go to the left of the gate, where the doors are smaller. There is also an enemy like a snake. The area is interesting for us in the presence of the ring, go inside and stumble upon a fairly strong enemy, which we will analyze separately in the next chapter.

Peak of the Ancient Dragons(Archdragon Peak) - one of the secret areas of the world, which is not required to visit and is not important for obtaining any ending of the game, as is the case with. At the same time, to get to Ancient Dragon Peak need a gesture, which is to be used in a certain place. And, of course, it will not do without a dragon, more precisely opportunities turn into a dragon and get a set of Dragonslayer armor.

Below in the guide, we will detail how to get to the Ancient Dragon Peak and what can be found inside.

Location Ancient Dragon Peak

To access the location you need gesture Old Dragon. You can find him in the room behind the hall where the battle with Oceiros, the Consumed King. After the fight, go through the massive door and go down to the basement, there is another room with a fountain and a corpse next to it. Here is the gesture.

Note that from this room through gate in the distance you can get to another secret location "".

And yes the screenshots already activated the appearance of the Dragon .

As for the gesture, it is used in a certain magical place.

Now get out of jail Dungeons of Irithyll, run through the corridors and find the elevator to go down even deeper. Lever for the elevator on the right against the wall. Go outside and on the right you will see how people and statues are turned towards the mountains and look at the palace on the rock.

Here use the gesture Old dragon and sit on a free mat. Watch the cutscene for a few seconds.

In the secret location of the Peak of the Ancient Dragons, you will automatically find yourself. Now explore everything in the district and go to the castle.

Bosses in Ancient Dragon Peak

There are two bosses waiting for you here: Ancient Wyvern and the Nameless King.

Ancient Wyvern not hard to kill. In addition, the game also gives a trophy / achievement for killing Ancient Wyvern. For simplicity, you can kill by dodging her attacks and simply climb the ladders higher on the walls and then jump on her head.

Nameless King, on the contrary, a difficult boss, but for him you will receive an achievement / trophy "The Nameless King" (The Nameless King). Ring the Big Bell to summon him. And the best will be the help of allies.

The battle with the Nameless King will consist of two phases.. At first, he will circle over the hero, sitting on a dragon. Your goal is to attack the dragon's head and/or neck. During fire attacks - run away, shorten.

Then the Nameless King will appear in front of the hero himself and will skillfully attack you with magic and sword and move very quickly across the battlefield. Distract him and hit him from behind.

Bosses are optional for the game's story and ending, but for the opportunity to become the Dragon himself - are very important.

To get to this mysterious place, you must first kill Oceiros, the Consumed King, the boss of the Conssumed King's Garden location, and then pick up the Path of the Dragon Emote gesture. With this gesture, return to Irithyll Dungeon (in the hall with the giant, run through bridge into the sewer with rats, turn right to two huge rats, run further and in the large hall turn left and go up the stairs.) You will see statues sitting on the edge of the cliff and looking at the castle in the distance. Sit near the statue on the rug and use the Path gesture of the Dragon.

Note: having opened this location, return a little later to Oceiros' grave, and at the place where you picked up the gesture, you will find the Drakeblood Set, which includes the Drakeblood Helm, Drakeblood Armor, Drakeblood Gauntlets and Drakeblood Leggins.

You will appear in the gorge and before you will be the way up. Near the tree on the left, pick up the Soul of a Weary Warrior. A little further on you will be attacked by two snakeheads - they are not very strong, but if you miss the moment, they will carry out a powerful lethal combo. Pay attention to the opponent with two blades. When he keeps them crossed, it means that he is preparing to counterattack, knocking down your entire stamina bar.

Climb the huge boulder and pick up the Lightning Gem. As soon as you go around the corner, the snakehead standing up the slope will start throwing fireballs at you. There will be another one a little higher. Be careful, as soon as you approach the nearest enemy, another one will rush to your right. Kill them and get ready to fight back the one that throws fireballs. To the right of him, another warrior lurked between the columns. Now that you're safe, go back down and pick up the Homeward Bone on the edge. To the right you will see an elevator, and around the corner, under the rock that you climbed earlier, there will be a Titanite Chunk. Let's go back to the top of the hill where the last two snakeheads were. Light a fire and take Ember next to it. Climb up the slope and pick up Soul of a Nameless Soldier on the right and Titanite Chunk on the left. Instead of going under the archway, turn left and go up the stairs. One enemy will lie in front of you, and the other will stand on the tower. Beware of the one armed with an ax, given that he knows how to hit painfully. Try to stab him in the back. Kill both and pick up the Ancient Dragon Greatshield, go down the stairs and pick up the Titanite Chunk. Pull the lever and open the gate, to the left of the gate you can meet another enemy guarding the Lightning Clutch Ring. Enter the door and you will fight the boss.

Boss: Ancient Wyvern /ancient wyvern

Once among the ruins, you will see a huge dragon. Unlike other dragons encountered earlier, this one will not sit down somewhere and occasionally pour fire on the passage. Instead, the winged monster will start attacking you, trying to tear you apart with its sharp teeth, or roast you with a powerful fiery stream. Roll forward to get under the massive carcass. Climb the stairs and turn left, where the snakehead will rush at you. Kill two more in the building you need to get to. Run past the fire-breathing snakehead on your left and up the stairs to your right. On the way you will be attacked by several soldiers. At the very top, in addition to the enemy with a shield, there will be another one jumping out of an ambush.

You need to run across a narrow bridge, first luring the enemy standing on it. Run across the bridge and wait until the dragon lands on the ground. When he is directly below you, jump on his head and perform a blow - this way you will end the bossfight.

You won't get souls for winning, but you'll get a Dragon Head Stone, which you can use to teleport to another area of Archdragon Peak.

You will appear on a balcony with a stunning view of the castle. Bells will ring in the vicinity. Find the nearest bonfire and enter the mausoleum. Another bell will ring and Drakeblood Knight will appear in front of you. Kill him like any other knight with a backstab. The bell that summoned him will summon even more knights if you don't eliminate him. Climb the stairs and on the other side of the balcony you will see a snake-headed sorcerer. He will cast spells and whip you. Kill him, now there will be no one to summon knights.

Note: note the dragon statue in the center of the room. On the ground floor opposite it stands an altar. Sit in front of him in Path of the Dragon and you will be given a Calamity Ring.

Before you leave the mausoleum, there are a few things left for you to do. Head up the stairs and grab the Soul of a Crestfallen on the left. In front of the closed gate lies a Dragonslayer Spear. To the right of the gate, there is a door that you can enter. The next moment you will find yourself in the middle of the balcony, run up to the edge where the sorcerer stood, there is a Titanite Scale, and two snakeheads are sitting nearby in ambush. To the left of the sorcerer there is an elevator that will take you down to the entrance to the ruins. On the right there will be another door to the balcony, from where you can see the wooden platforms that you ran along during the fight with the wyvern. You will see a sphere with a Titanite Scale. To the left, you will notice a staircase that leads to a stone lizard, near which lies a Titanite Scale, and then there is a long path to the first floor, to the altar. The remaining door leads to the already seen gate.

Return to the arena where you fought the wyvern, there is a lot of useful stuff that we didn't have time to collect. Return to the wooden platforms, jump down and go up the stairs opposite, there will be 2 Twinkling Titanites at the top. Drop down onto the archway you jumped off earlier, the catwalk hanging even lower will lead you back to the entrance to the ruins. In the center of the square in front of the bell lies the Large Soul of a Weary Warrior. Go to the right of the bell, there are three items - pick up 2 Ember and 6 Stalk Dung Pie. Turn the corner and go along the columns, climb the stairs and pick up the Ring of Steel Protection. Now cross the square with the bell and enter the first building you entered during the boss fight. Before entering the building, to the right will be Large Soul of a Nameless Soldier. There will be a staircase to the left of the door, and 4 Lightning Urns are at the top. Enter the room with the broken dome, lift the Titanite Chunk from the edge, turn around and you will see a ladder in the open window. Climb down and pick up 2 Twinkling Titanite.

Return to the roof, climb the steps, fight with two regular and one large snakehead armed axe. Look at the balcony next to it, there are 12 Lightning Bolts on it, and in one of the niches you will find a Titanite Chunk.

Let's go back to the mausoleum. Go around the locked gate and you will find yourself on the path below. This path is patrolled by several snakeheads, you will see one of them in the niche on the left as soon as you enter. At the very end of the hall there will be a room with two snakeheads hiding behind the columns. Try to take them to the hall and kill them individually. If you look to the right in front of the entrance, you will see a snakehead standing on the platform below. After you leave the hall, a large snakehead with an ax will be waiting for you in an ambush on the left. If you wish, you can sneak up to the ladder not far from him, climb it, and then jump down on the enemy's head.

Run to the balcony and look for the stairs that will take you up to the bridge. Next to you will be a Thunder Stoneplate Ring. Keep walking across the bridge, get to the door on the other side and enter the big room and chase down the crystal lizard from which you can get 3 Twinkling Titanite. If you pay attention to the balcony where the lizard was running, you can find a chest with 3 Titanite Scale on it. Go outside and kill two stone lizards. They look like large crystal lizards, but with thick stone skin, they can roll into a ball and roll around, sweeping away everything in their path. They often fall off the ledges, so you can go to the edge and try to lure them. Check the nook on the left, there is the Soul of a Weary Warrior, high overhead you will see a dragon, which will soon turn around and make another pass to pour fire on the area. Wait for him to fly up into the air again, or run and jump at his feet. While it will fly, run to the nearest tower and go inside. Get ready to sweat, 4 stone lizards will roll at you at once. Run past them and head into the ruins before the dragon grabs you.

You will find yourself in another mausoleum, at the end of which there will be a sorcerer. He will summon a half-naked warrior with a crown on his head and a rapier in his hands. Watch out for punches from his alternate stance. Wait until he has made all the attacks, and then hit him. Without good protection, he will not last long. Kill him and get Ricard's Rapier, kill the sorcerer so that he does not resurrect his defender. On the right you will see a dilapidated wall that you can jump over, and there will be a passage right in front of you. Let's skip what is on the right and return there later. Go to walkway and you'll see a couple of messages begging you not to ring the bell, don't touch the lever for now and run towards the bonfire.

After going down the stairs, you will come out into the courtyard, patrolled by snakeheads. One of them will stand at the other end and throw fireballs at you. Hide behind the ledges and kill the enemies. In the center of the courtyard lies the Large Soul of a Crestfallen Knight. Opposite will be the path that we previously missed. After walking through it, you will move to a small balcony, where a stone lizard sits around the corner, and behind it there is a chest with 3 Twinkling Titanite. In front of you will be a staircase that will lead you to the carcass of a dead dragon, near which stands an armored knight with a dragon's tooth as a club. With this club, he is capable of inflicting colossal damage. Kill him and you will get Havel's Greatshield and Dragon Tooth. Titanite Slab can be removed from the corpse near the dragon. If you put on the Silvercat Ring, jump to the lower balcony and run to the corpse with the Great Magic Barrier scroll.

Note: if you return to the section of the bridge over Farron Keep, where the huge white demon walked, you will find a corpse there with a set of armor, including Havel's Helm, Havel's Armor, Havel's Gauntlets and Havel's Leggins.

Go back to the courtyard, if you pass under the big bell, you will see a locked gate where you can find Ember. To open them, you will need to ring the bell, but first let's look at one nook. The road leading to the top of the peak is rife with snake-headed enemies, including both ordinary warriors and large, ax-wielding guards. But in fact, everything is not as bad as it seems. Below the fire, you will find Hawkwood's summon sign. Follow him to the remains of an ancient dragon and use the Path of the Dragon gesture - you will be rewarded with a Twinkling Dragon Torso Stone. After returning from the top, go right and go down the stairs to encounter a stone lizard guarding Dragon Chaser's Ashes.

Note: If you return to the Firelink Shrine, the blacksmith will tell you that Hawkwood stopped by to give you a message from Hawkwood Swordgrass. He seems to want to thank you for the fight with the Abyss Watchers. If you defeated him, he will give you the Twinkling Dragon Head Stone.

Now you just have to ring the bell. Heavy clouds will move over the peak, and you will see a path of clouds, along which you can go to the foggy curtain, behind which there will be the Nameless King boss.

Boss: Nameless King /Nameless king

Once you're in the clouds, the Nameless King will appear on his mount, the Storm King. To fight the boss itself, you first need to kill a huge feathered creature. Try to take as little damage as possible, as you will need extra health for the subsequent stages of the fight.

Before you go to the boss, get armor with good protection against electricity and other items that allow you to increase it. You will need Yellow Stoneplate Ring, Spirit Tree Crest Shield, Lothric Knight Shield or Dragonslayer Greatshield. The best armor for this task is Faraam, Winged or Cathedral or Silver Knight, Undead Legion or Sorcerer Set. The Nameless King will constantly shoot charges of electricity at you, so extra protection will not hurt.

Before starting the attack, the king will fly around in a circle. Try to fix the sight on it, watch its actions and try to predict its further actions. If he raises one hand to create lightning, be ready to jump away from the projectile flying at you. For other attacks, he will swing the spear behind his head, after which he will make a sharp lunge, accompanied by a shock wave. Sometimes he will create an explosion with fire, from which you will be protected by a shield or an attempt to run away.

Once he's on the ground, you'll have a harder time countering him, given the monster's size and awkward camera. Keep the rider and monster in sight. When the king raises his spear, it means that he is preparing for a single or double blow, which may be accompanied by a swing from above. After he raises his spear and charges it with lightning, in a second he will send an electric charge over a large area of the earth. At this point, it will be almost impossible to dodge anywhere but in his direction.

His pet can also attack you. First, the creature will try to be on your right, after which it will start a stream of fire. If you have time, run up and hit the monster in the throat several times, or dodge the flames with a somersault. Sometimes your attacks will stun the creature and the rider, at which point you can perform a powerful combo.

After killing the monster, you will be left alone with the king. To be honest, you're in for a tough fight. Your enemy will begin to move at an unimaginable speed. One of the tricks, the enemy will rise into the air, point a spear at you, and then quickly rush at you. Dodge the blow, remembering to leave a reserve of strength in order to have time to make a repeated somersault, otherwise you risk getting hit by the next blow.

Try to dodge the blows to the right and left. Sometimes the enemy will jump behind you. When he lifts his leg, run away so as not to be affected by the wave from his stomp.

His attacks will become even more terrible when he uses an alternative stance. Grasping the spear with both hands, he will strike the ground with it. A powerful shock wave and electricity will diverge around from the spear. He will charge another attack by putting his spear forward - at this moment you can even manage to land a couple of blows on him. Just do not forget to immediately close yourself with a shield, because the next moment, lightning will strike the place where you were standing.

From a distance, he will cast a spell with a dense wall of fog at you. If you don't run and jump away, the spell will take a lot of your health.

If you keep patience and choose the right moments to strike, you will be able to defeat the boss. Remember that you can stun him with critical hits in the same way as his monster.

Killing the Nameless King will dispel the storm and give you the Soul of the Nameless King. After the gate goes up, near the entrance you can pick up a Titanite Slab. Go to the other side of the other gate and there you will find an armor set including Dragonslayer Helm, Dragonslayer Armor, Dragonslayer Gauntlets and Dragonslayer Leggings. You will also be able to pick up the previously unavailable Dragonslayer Spear.

If you've completed all the other locations, all you have to do is return to the Firelink Shrine and prepare for the final battle.
